Re: An Amish Market (6:15pm February 28, 2016):
The one I always try to buy something from, even if it's a book, is Brenda Novak's online auction. I even got my Dad, gone now, a book by an author he liked because he had diabetes. That was what started me buying in there. He is gone now but I still buy one thing. It's for my Daddy, RIP.
Re: An Amish Market (6:11pm February 28, 2016):
Honesty and loyalty. If he lies or cheats once, he will lie and cheat 100 times so I have to have that. Which, by the way, I do!
Re: Temper (6:08pm February 28, 2016):

Well, a friends Dad tried to get me to eat Menudo once and I could not do it. I do not eat anything strange except for chicken livers. That's the bravest I go.
Re: Remaking Ryan (7:45pm January 22, 2016):

A vial of poison!!!
Re: Illusion (9:21pm October 25, 2015):
I grew up in a house with a lot of supernatural experiences. You could hear people walking when no one was there, a woman in white walked down the staircase, the lights would go on and doors open, and it scared me to death!
Re: Promise to Keep (9:16pm October 25, 2015):
I absolutely am fascinated by Amish people. Their lifestyle is mind boggling to think of. They don't seem to even miss the things we use daily. I think it would be amazing to live that way on one hand but on the other, it seems everything is about work. I just love it!!!

Re: The Unforgiven: Athos (5:36pm March 31, 2015):

Re: Wild About Rachel (4:46pm September 24, 2014):
I was the exact same way. I am always reading something. People comment that I am never not reading. What else is there in life, short of being a billionaire, that takes you to exotic places, let's you visit things you'd never get to? There is nothing in the world like it. Oh and I also read dictionaries. When my Grandma passed she left me all.of her books, including her dictionaries that I used to read while at her house while my siblings and cousins all played.yes, major nerd alert!

Got to go to WA and see my daughter, Grandson, and stayed with my brother. Wish I were going back.now. I guess next summer. Congrats on lots of writing. And definitely no bathing suits for me, 1 nor 2 piece. Wouldn't want to scare everyone!
Re: A Winter Wedding (1:43pm September 6, 2014):

Re: Driftwood Tides (1:38pm September 6, 2014):

When I was younger I always had to be doing something! However after becoming disabled the only thing I can do is read! I used to run all the time. Could not sit still. Well I hate that I can't do the things I did but have gone back to.one of my first loves, reading, and wonder how I ever pushed it back when I was not disabled. Re: Sweet Madness (8:44pm April 5, 2013):

Re: Second Chance (3:50pm March 31, 2013):

Re: Revenge On Route 66 (7:26am March 29, 2013):

Re: Assaulted Pretzel (8:38pm March 13, 2013):

Re: A SEAL's Surrender (12:01pm March 12, 2013):

Re: The Survivor (11:26am March 5, 2013):
I am always aware of my surroundings. People distracted become easy prey for criminals. A also always check my car before I get in it at night. I am a certified chicken.
Re: Lord Of Darkness (1:18pm March 4, 2013):
Love the books. This one sounds great too!!
Re: The Christie Curse (1:44pm March 3, 2013):

Amazing that people can actually have the talent to write a book.
Re: The Missing Manuscript Of Jane Austen (5:15pm January 6, 2013):

Re: Deliver Me From Temptation (12:43pm December 22, 2012):
Books look awesome. Happy holidays.
Re: Captive Of The Border Lord (12:42pm December 22, 2012):
Well, my Daddy had to walk two miles each day in snow higher than he was to get to school And then we had the dragon flies that he told us were stinging needles and would sew our mouths shut if we talked or the earwigs crawling in our ears and making us go crazy. He had a ton. Sad part is I believed them about the bugs for years. I have an unnatural phobia of anything that crawls or flies.
Re: Betrayed by Shadows (2:43am December 18, 2012):
Actually I think if they are over the top nice girls, the story can be boring. Unless of course it's the proverbial bad boy. But I think as a woman, I want strong female characters. We have come too far to go back and have to read of boring female characters!
Re: Fortune's Hero (11:05pm December 13, 2012):
I can't even imagine. As fast as technology is going, it just boggles my mind what they will have, if the world is still going!

Sounds awesome. Thanks for to win!
Re: Rev It Up (4:15pm October 21, 2012):
I think it's funny but some of the best books I have read are from writers that wrote outside of their normal genre. So I think if an author can take the chance, we as readers can be the winners in the long run!
Re: Miss Lavigne's Little White Lie (11:18pm October 18, 2012):
I always trust my first impression. It hasn't failed me so although I probably do miss out, I go with my very large gut!!
Re: Return Of The Border Warrior (1:45pm October 17, 2012):
I guess my secret like would be YA fiction. I am a Grandma but love it. It and historical fiction are my favorite types of books ever!!!
Re: The Shadowy Horses (12:58pm October 14, 2012):
I think dialect does add to a story just like using words from the time frame of the book, if historical. Makes it more believable!
Re: Against His Will (4:39pm October 11, 2012):
Sounds great!!! Can't wait to read it!!
Re: Run The Risk (2:52pm October 10, 2012):

Re: Wild Encounter (2:03am October 7, 2012):
Oh geez. That's tough. I could never eat bugs. I would get sick and I think that'd make it worse. Hopefully nothing involving blood. The sick thing again. I guess I woukd never know until I was put in the situation. Now I really, really want to read this!!!!
Re: Savage Hunger (1:35am October 5, 2012):

Re: In the Line of Duty (4:05am August 26, 2012):
Funny because it's always been the proverbial women melt when they see a man in uniform but knowing my husband and various other males, it is true when the man in a uniform is a woman. They think it's sexy too though they may not admit it like we do!
Re: Florentine's Hero (3:34pm August 25, 2012):

Re: Hearse And Buggy (8:04am August 17, 2012):
Loved Laura Ingalls books and show. However am so absolutely fascinated with Amish people and their way of life. I sometimes think I was born in the wrong century or religion, whichever!

Re: Seducing Cinderella (10:32pm August 12, 2012):

35 books. Amazing! Congrats on the book. Sounds wonderful and I really like the cover. Just beautiful!
Re: The Last Victim (12:50pm August 5, 2012):
Love your books. After 31 yrs of writing and being so successful then it seems you are correct in taking your own advice. You definitely are doing something right!
Re: Going To The Bad (12:46pm August 5, 2012):
Sounds great. However I hate when a character in a series I like is killed off. Kind of ruins it sometimes.
Re: Married By Midnight (11:53pm August 3, 2012):
I've yet to start reading a series that never ended. This will sound rude but if I did, I would probablynot read anything from that author again. I know sometimes things happen but if someone can put out their hard earned money, I feel it's completely irresponsible of the author. Kind of harsh but there are too many authors to choose from to have one let you down jmin that way. Unless of course it was way beyond their power.
Re: I Own The Dawn (3:34am August 2, 2012):
Well laughter is the key to a good marriage!!!
Re: Sacrifice of Passion (6:44pm July 20, 2012):
I have never watched it! I always had the impression from what I heard is that he was a dark hero.
Re: The Reluctant Matchmaker (4:39pm July 10, 2012):
My hubby is almost a foot taller than I am. No big deal. My daughter is shorter than I am but my 2 sons are tall like their Dad. I kind of like it. Feel very protected because of it. My boys watch out for me, reach things on the top shelf, etc.
Re: One Breath Away (11:10am July 9, 2012):
I love suspense, murder mystery, etc. I now have to read some contemporary romance just so all I read is not about the evils of life. However first and foremost is thd first category. Guess I always want to know the whys of the evil in the world, even uf it is through a book.
Re: Into The Darkest Corner (2:18am June 24, 2012):
I do not belong to a book club as I have no clue of any in my area. I do know of one but it is dedicated to reading a certain religion books and I don't read those books. I would love to though. Also I read at my pace which is considerably faster than they woukd go. Can easily read 2 200 page novels a day or a longer one and starting on the next. Maybe more somedays, less somedays.
Re: Racing The Devil (5:19pm March 2, 2012):
Sad thing. I have never watched Saving Private Ryan. I am an obsessive reader and never seem to watch Tv or go to movies. Pathetic, isn't it?
Re: A Promise Of Safekeeping (3:27am January 1, 2012):
I keep everything!!! I am a hoarder thru and thru. My favorite thing to collect, one of many, is my antique purses. But again, I hoarde!!!!

Re: The Rake And The Recluse (3:14pm September 18, 2011):

Congrats on the success with your novels and your future success. Thanks for a chance to win.
Re: Out in Blue (1:15pm September 13, 2011):
I love Angels. I believe in Angels and love reading anything associated with them. As the song goes, "I believe there are Angels among up." And I truly do.
Re: Deep Disclosure (10:26am September 7, 2011):
I try to live for now but I do have a tendancy for the What if's. I hate it and wish I could stop but I do it alot.
Re: Diaries Of An Urban Panther (1:09am September 1, 2011):
If something jumped out of me, I would fall over dead of a heart attack. I read too many mysteries and true crime, lol.
Re: The Bone House (12:15pm August 22, 2011):
psychological thrillers are my favorite genre. I love them and if written right, I seriously can't put one down until it is ended. I also read alot of true crime because I think one of these days I will figure it all out. What it is that can turn a seemingly "normal" person into a killer, lol. Can you tell I took alot of Psychology in college? It absolutely fascinates me. Your books sound wonderful and am hoping I can find them on Kindle because I may just go buy one now.
Re: Deadly Obsession (12:54pm August 16, 2011):
I think a man just taking care of his family and being a wonderful father makes a man heroic. Sounds like a great book. Thanks for the chance to win!
Re: The Landlord's Black-Eyed Daughter (7:25pm August 10, 2011):
30 and should have 5 kids. Hmm. Can you imagine? Book sounds great!
Re: The Full Moon Bride (12:33pm August 1, 2011):
I've always read that writing what is in your soul turns out the best books so am sure it is a winner. Sounds like a great book too.
Re: What A Goddess Wants (9:54am July 28, 2011):
I could tell you what a goddess wants, lol. No seriously, your life sounds like mine except mine if from a chronic illness that hit as my kids were finally getting a little older and more independent. There are days when I get the laundry done, dishes washed (in the dishwasher, of course), and dinner done if I am lucky. Those are the almost must do's but the "Spring cleaning" has left my life for good. It was a very hard adjustment to make as I was an absolute clean freak all my life (well maybe except when I was a teen). Sometimes you just have to not worry about the little things and do what you have to. It's been hard but am finally getting over the guilt of it all.
Re: The Genesis Key (1:57pm July 27, 2011):
Wow, sounds amazing. I have often wondered about Genesis and the life span. It always talks of men that had their children in their 97th yr and went on the live another 789 yrs, etc. Were their years different or did they live that long? Anyways, the book sounds just up my alley and will have to definitely check it out. Congrats on your novel.
Re: A Gentleman Never Tells (12:11pm July 25, 2011):
Well, the funniest thing I can think of it a book I read, an eBook given away so people could comment on her writing and her is going to remain anonymous. I read about 1/2 way and all of the sudden there was another woman's name, not the main characters. It had already been checked over by the editor, and was available for purchase on Amazon.com and no one even noticed. She had accidentally changed the heroine's name at one point in the book. I emailed her thinking I had lost my mind. After I brought it to her attention, she in fact had put in the wrong name. She couldn't believe it had gone thru all those avenues and no one else that had ever read it noticed. She had to go in and change it. But in her defense, I am anal about errors in books. I always think, wow, I could have done proof reading better than that, lol. I am bad. I notice everything.
Re: Hold Me (1:57am July 24, 2011):
Wish I believed in true love. I actually do as in my parents case but don't believe it happens anymore. Sometimes I wish I had been born in another time so I could experience true love. I am not saying I have never had my heart broken. More than my share and I believe it does make the heart hurt but enjoy true love, never have had it.
Re: Undead And Undermined (1:54am July 24, 2011):
Too funny. You have such a sense of humor. I personally love the Twilight series but when you think of it in the way you bring it up, it is a little out there. LOL. Now will have to check out your books. Never have but if your writing here is any indication, I know I will not be disappointed.
Re: Touch If You Dare (10:37am July 21, 2011):
I wouldn't want a man filled with hate, well bottled up in him, but the rest doesn't sound too bad. Broad shoulders, etc. Yeah, sounds good to me!!
Re: In The Heat Of The Bite (1:27pm July 20, 2011):
Book sounds awesome. Would love to read it!
Re: Night Walker (12:45pm July 18, 2011):
I would not want to live forever unless I could choose the age at which I would live forever at. If I could go back to about 23, definitely. At my age now, no. So it could go either way.
Re: The What If Guy (3:39pm July 17, 2011):
I am with the same person after 23 years. I don't even remember if and when it was love. It just all of the sudden we were a couple (a couple of idiots, maybe). Anyways, with so many divorces in my family, including myself prior to meeting my current spouse, I would like to know why people can't make it work.
Re: A Spark of Death (2:00pm July 15, 2011):
Sounds fun! I love forensics and can't imagine they had anything forensic back in the day so I am sure it would be a great read. Good luck with the book. Amazing reviews!!
Re: Bastian (1:47pm May 1, 2011):
I have never been able to stay friends with someone after we had broken up. There are too many emotions involved but know many people that have been able to remain friends. The book sounds awesome.
Re: Heart of Deception (9:52pm April 29, 2011):
I don't wear hats but after seeing the Royal Wedding, it makes you see how classy it makes all of the women look. Sounds like a great book to get started with it.
Re: Haunting Desire (2:35pm April 6, 2011):
I really don't know any Celtic legends. Hope I can still enter. Never really thought about it before. Anyways, it sounds like an awesome book. I love historical books.
Re: Rock Hard (7:48am April 4, 2011):
I can relate to a relationship like that. Been in 1 for 23 yrs, lol. Sounds like a great book.
Re: Angel's Verdict (5:58pm April 3, 2011):
I love the idea of your series. Sounds awesome.
Re: The Return Of Black Douglas (12:49pm April 1, 2011):
Sounds awesome. I love ancient history. I had to take an ancient history class in college and was like ugh until I got going in it. Then I couldnt get enough info. Love, love, love it!
Re: Mimosas, Mischief, and Murder (4:33pm March 31, 2011):
My daughter lives in Spokane. I go there every Christmas, well since my Grandson was born 2 yrs ago, and it does snow. However I live in Utah and we get it worse than they do sometimes. Ick. I have moved a few times and have lived in 5 different cities since my adulthood. Am thinking Spokane would be a good place to settle since the daughter and grandbaby are there. Anyways, I love mysteries and now will have to look up the first 2 books that are taking place in Spokane. I LOVE it there.
Re: The Beloved Dead (12:39pm March 27, 2011):
Love mysteries. I have never heard of the authors you mentioned and will have to check them out.
Re: Angel's Rest (10:09am March 12, 2011):
How lucky you are. I have 2 teen boys that can't seem to fly the coop. My daughter is off living her life but my boys are here. I WANT TO BE AN EMPTY NESTER. Anyways, the book sounds great. I am more in to the contemporary romance stories. Good luck and Congrats. Talk about coming back with a bang!!!!!
Re: Deadly Ties (11:31pm February 7, 2011):
Sounds like an awesome book. It's hard when women get in these situations. I feel for anyone that does. And ya know, emotional abuse to me is almost worse. The pain heals but the damage to a person's psyche can never heal.
Re: Twins Under His Tree (2:40pm December 2, 2010):
What an awesome concept. I don't think the PTSD was talked about because the generation was a quiet and stoic generation. Sad. And I think the Vets of the Vietnam was were just forgotten about. Sad too. I am thankful everyday for the ones serving to make this world a better and safer place for all of us. I can't imagine what they and their families go through. God Bless them all!!!
Re: Outrageously Yours (10:49pm December 1, 2010):
I'm all for the nerds of the world. Would rather have someone intelligent to talk to than someone that is nice to look at but you can't carry on a conversation with. That sucks. However if both come in the same package, that wouldn't be all that bad, lol!
Re: The Devil She Knows (1:13pm November 6, 2010):
I always remember going to my Grandma's for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Everyone would get together, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc and my Grandma made every dish imaginable but the best part was being with everyone. Loved it and it still is my idea of the perfect Holidays.
Re: Holiday Affair (12:42pm November 2, 2010):
I've always dreamed of having the perfectly decorated house and all that for Christmas and it has yet to happen. Actually I have come to not be so "happy" at Christmas because it is not what I expect. However last year I went and spent Christmas with my daughter and, at the time, my Grandson's first Christmas. Not having all the stress of being the Mom to do everything and just being able to enjoy my Grandson, it made it one of the best ever. Am going again this year and since he is a year older and will understand a little more, I expect this one to even be better. YAY.
Re: A Darcy Christmas (1:39pm October 22, 2010):
That is one of the most amazing things in life. Watching a child develop their own little personalities. They are truly miracles.
Re: Twilight Hunger (12:44pm October 21, 2010):
Wow, and now that is such a popular genre. How cool is that? I'll bet it makes you very proud to be one of the first.
Re: Captive Spirit (11:08pm October 19, 2010):
How interesting. Never heard of them and now will have to google and read more about it. Kind of cool.
Re: Pursuit of Justice (6:18pm October 18, 2010):
I love mystery, true crime, etc. Those are the ones I start and can't put down. Love them.
Re: Sloane Hall (12:51pm October 11, 2010):
I agree that as long as the book is well written, I don't think it matters. I've seen women writers that use male pen names and were it not for finding out, you'd never know they were actually females. Look at all the men that write books that connect on a female basis. I think it works both ways.
Re: Sazerac Seduction (5:37pm October 10, 2010):
My dream man would be Dr. Reid, if he were real, off Criminal Minds. He is hot, a genius, and just sexy. Definitely I could deal with someone like that!!!
Re: Runes (12:08pm October 6, 2010):
My secret desire is to have my 2 boys, aged 19 and 17, already out of the house. LOL. Some desire, eh? But it is.
Re: The Echo of Violence (4:32pm September 26, 2010):
I love true crime genre. Since you seem to like to write "ripped from the headlines" books, have you thought of just making the leap and writing a true crime book? Just curious.
Re: Secrets Volume 29 Indulge Your Fantasies (1:25am September 22, 2010):
I have never been anywhere out of the US. Poor me, lol. I'd love to go though.
Re: Feline Fatale (7:57pm September 16, 2010):
I have 1 dog. She is hard enough being the spoiled big thing she is. But I love her anyways. Books sound wonderful.
Re: Warrior (2:03pm September 11, 2010):
I have never had the pleasure of meeting an author. If I did I have no doubts I would become tongue tied and not be able to talk anyways, lol.
Re: Dark Warrior Untamed (2:54pm August 27, 2010):
Wow, I can't think of any right now. Now as soon as I post this I will think of 10 but my brain went blank which is absolutely nothing new. Have a wonderful day!!
Re: Don't Cry (12:02pm August 22, 2010):
I have a huge TBR file now. My original Kindle just got the screen broken so my husband got me a replacement for my bd and I added a TON of books to it. It'll take forever amd that being on top of the regular books I have. Not enough time in a day anymore. Old Age? I am sure!!!
Re: Rule's Bride (7:43pm August 16, 2010):
I love books that are in a series unless they take too long to come out with the next book. At that point it makes me kind of mad, lol. I don't want to wait.
Re: Roast Mortem (8:18am August 14, 2010):
Love my pancakes. And firefighters aren't so bad either.
Re: The 1st Wife (11:32am August 9, 2010):
I actually have someone that everytime I "talk" mostly thru email these days, she makes me believe I can overcome the obstacles in my life. She has been a life long friend and I do know why. She is an amazing person. It's great when we have someone that can do that for us.
Re: The Ark (12:38pm July 29, 2010):
How strange. I'll bet that was a little on the eerie side but hey, if it helped sell some extra books (not the bad things but just the timing) then good for you. Again, NOT the bad things. I am not happy about the oil spill, etc or the men that died.
Re: Tomb With A View (5:21am July 20, 2010):
I absolutely believe in ghosts. I grew up in a haunted house and we had alot of witnesses. Also the people now living in it has had many experiences themselves. I still get freaked out in old houses.
Re: Ice Cold (10:20am July 18, 2010):
Well, I didn't clean my house Saturday either but didn't do anything quite as exciting. I have never been to a book signing since they never happen in my neck of the woods. One of these days though..........
Re: Revenge for Old Times' Sake (1:02pm July 16, 2010):
I like watching people too and yes, I do eavesdrop on people's cell conversations but most people make it so easy. It's when they try to be quiet that I really want to hear, lol. And yeah, I could never have someone dead in my bed and not know it. I wake up if I hear ANY type of noise.
Re: Murder in the Abstract (8:51am July 14, 2010):
Would love to read the book since I married a "quintessential bad boy". Only after this long, the bad boy routine is a little old, lol.
Re: Rapture Untamed (8:58pm June 29, 2010):
I love series. My only problem is I can't wait for the 2nd, 3rd, etc book to come out so I try to wait until they are all out and buy all at once. I have no patience, lol.
Re: Blown Away (2:27pm May 30, 2010):
Oh and BTW, lucky you to be a reviewer. How fun would that be???????????????????????
Re: Blown Away (2:25pm May 30, 2010):
I wait until I can get them all at once. I hate reading a book and then having to wait and wait to find out the rest. It's easier to put off reading all of them until I can read ALL of them together.
Re: Aries Rising (1:03pm March 26, 2010):
Your theory on astrology and who would make the best writers was kind of interesting. May not agree but definitely interesting.
Re: On The Steamy Side (12:19pm March 24, 2010):
I don't know that it's really a big romance but "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" is one of my all time faves with a child as the prominent character. Love that book.
Re: Something About You (4:49pm March 19, 2010):
Sounds like a good book. I love it when there is a hard a$$. When you mix that with humor, it's usually the best kind of book along with the mystery stuff too.
Re: The Highlander's Sword (10:51pm March 17, 2010):
I love Celtic things and Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
Re: Forget Me Not (12:01pm March 16, 2010):
LOL. I am always a nut. People definitely look at me like I have lost my mind but I have fun and enjoy myself. Life would just be way too mundane if we did just what is supposedly acceptable.
Re: One Good Dog (9:59pm March 8, 2010):
I have a dog that I feel more like her Mom in our relationship. It was just like building a relationship with my husband but in a different way. I just can't imagine losing her. It would be almost like losing one of my kids. Sounds like a great book.
Re: My Dearest Mr. Darcy (2:09pm January 7, 2010):
I love the Gone with the Wind scene too.Definitely a classic. I had a hard time "birthin babies" so don't have the best memories. My first went well and the 2 boys both were in the NICU. It's a very scary experience having a child there but mine were healthier and bigger than alot of the babies in there even if mine were very early. It's an experience to never be forgotten though. Makes you realize how lucky you are and how precious life is.
Re: Deadtown (8:25pm January 6, 2010):
Well, since I haven't been reading vampire books and such that long and yes it all started with Twilight, that would be the only other "World" I have visited. However like millions of others I am now wanting to read anything about vampires, wolves, etc. It's funny how 1 book can open your eyes to a whole other genre of books to read.
Re: Dangerous Highlander (11:19am January 5, 2010):
It would seem the suthor would know the characters better than anyone and therefore would be better at picking a cover for the book. But what do I know, lol? Good luck with all the books.
Re: Shattered (4:52pm January 2, 2010):
I will never be organized nor stick to my New Year's resolutions, lol. Good luck to you and hope everyone has a very Happy and Prosperous New Year.
Re: A Dark Love (11:48pm September 30, 2009):
Congrats on being happy. What I find so appalling is all the women that seek out Sociopaths in prisons and marry them when they are on death row or are in for life without parole. Oh yeah, that sounds like my kind of Prince Charming alright!!!!!
Re: The Cowboy From Christmas Past (3:27pm September 26, 2009):
I love dogs, esp my Bella. She just loves me no matter what. Dogs are so loyal!!!
Re: Shades of Twilight (2:38pm September 26, 2009):
I have never had the pleasure of attending a book signing. I live in a small area and in the middle of nowhere land and no one ever comes this way. Sad because to me that would be the absolute ultimate.
Re: Tortured (1:37pm August 19, 2009):
I'd love to read "Tortured". Sounds like a great book!!!
Re: Bite Me! (1:14pm August 19, 2009):
I have never read the series but do admit to being hopelessly devoted to the Twilight series. Now that being said, I am sure I would LOVE this series and am actually going to buy one of the books or ask my daghter if she has read them. I am hooked on the vampire genre right now, as is most of America. Can't wait to read them.
Re: 4 Bodies And A Funeral (3:08pm March 10, 2009):
A long time ago when I still lived in California, I went to pick up a note for a friend from her Dr. The building was 16 stories and he was on the top floor. I got on the elavator and just as the door was about to shut, a man got on. I just looked around, just kept to myself. Well, all of the sudden he is staring at me and telling me how dangerous it is to get on an elavator with a stranger, wasn't I afraid, etc. My heck, I thought my heart would pound out of my chest. He just sat and stared the entire time. I was absolutely terrified and had no clue what to do. Not only that, there wasn't really anything I could do. I just kept praying for the elavator to stop. Finally I got to the top and ran out of it as fast as I could. When I got back on to leave, I hurried and shut the door with the button and then pushed the floor again. He never did come back around me but boy did he scare the living you know what out of me. What do you do in that situation? I just didn't say a word to him nor looked at him when he talked to me.
Re: The Magic Knot (1:13pm January 30, 2009):
I like the rural settings too. There is so much history in the world that it is just fascinating when you can read a story that brings some of that to it.
Re: Wicked Burn (3:20pm January 27, 2009):
I am also a reader, not an author. However with all the booksites dedicated to spotlighting authors and their books, I would think using copy of your books on those websites would bring your writing to the attention of readers. On some websites, I have won books or even just read excerpts of the books has opened up a whole new genre that I like to read now. So my opinion would be to sign up for one of the sites that give away a book a day and donate a book or two for them to giveaway and then spotlight your book on a certain day.
Re: Thread of Fear (10:19am January 25, 2009):
I could have sworn I did this yesterday but it doesn't show. Well anyways, I belong to the Real Simple (mag) book club. We vote on a book and then the person in charge emails everyone after so many days to start discussing the chapter. I have never belonged to a "real", meet in person book club but would love to try it sometime.
Re: Whisper of Warning (10:16am January 25, 2009):
Great contest. I need way more books as my TBR stack is almost gone thru. Thanks for the chance to win!!!
Re: Men Of The Otherworld (3:50pm January 22, 2009):
Awesome. I would LOVE to read it also. Thanks for the chance.
