Sounds very interesting.
I was used to working in a pair and when I set out to run my own business it took me a while to get the balance right between turning away work (which I could ill afford to do ) and taking on only work I could handle by myself. So a time or two I was doing more or bigger work than I should, but somehow I always managed.

Truth be told, I'm too chicken to get in over my head at
least not in the way the heroines in the PNRs do. I make my
excitement living vicariously through my favorite literary

Let me start out by saying that your excerpt was amazing!! I was riveted to my seat!! The only time that I thought I was in over my head was a couple of years ago, when my Husband lost his job, and we lost our house. We had to live in our pop-up camper, moving around to campgrounds. Part of me didn't think we'd make it, but somehow, through the Grace of God, we found a place we could afford, and we've been clawing ourselves up ever since!! The road is hard, but we're survivalists of a sort. We're going to make it, and every month I'm more amazed by our progress!! It also makes me feel good to prove some people wrong, considering we lost everything!! It wasn't our fault, and we fought to the end. I'm proud of what we did. I'm looking forward to reading your book. Have a great Christmas and New Year!!

now. I took on a Sales Lead position with a company I have
never worked for. Now I have to learn the company, the
