Romance Paranormal

Logan Screwed Up...Big Time

When things go bump in the night, Logan bumps back. Vampires, demons, succubi—you name it, he's fought it. His job as Paladin angel warrior is to protect humans. Not fall for one.

She Never Believed in Divine Intervention...Until Now

Detective Jessica Waters protects humans too-with her Glock and a good set of handcuffs. She doesn't believe in fate. But if anyone looks like a gift from the gods, it's Logan. And he clearly knows more about her case than he's letting on...

Re: Deliver Me From Temptation

Great excerpt. I am still sampling the paranormal genre, and this is one I
definitely want to read.
I hope it does well for you.
(Patricia Barraclough 1:42am December 21, 2012)

Wow; I need to read the rest! I really enjoyed Deliver Me from Darkness, and this looks like it will be great, too.
(
Janie McGaugh 2:39am December 21, 2012)

Wow! This book sounds great. Where do you get your ideas?
(
Kathleen Yohanna 5:19am December 21, 2012)

Sounds very interesting.
I was used to working in a pair and when I set out to run my own business it took me a while to get the balance right between turning away work (which I could ill afford to do ) and taking on only work I could handle by myself. So a time or two I was doing more or bigger work than I should, but somehow I always managed.
(
Clare O'Beara 6:22am December 21, 2012)

This sounds great. Cant wait to read it. I have a couple of times thought I could handle something even when others told me know only to realize later that I was soo over my head and needed help getting out of it.

Patricia - Thank you! The paranormal genre is so diverse you can find lots of things to love in it :-) Enjoy the search!

Janie - LOL! Then you shall have to grab up a copy ;-) I'm so glad you enjoyed Deliver Me from Darkness! Thanks for saying HI :-)

Kathleen - Lady Muse ;-) Truly it's a mix of imagination, outside influences (something you see, hear, watch, etc), and lots and lots of research to find the idea that pops! Thanks for stopping in!

Clare - Running your own business is hard! I never realized how much about writing isn't actually writing until I was published. It sounds like you have some real steel in your back and have risen up against the challenges! Congrats and best of luck with your business. And thanks for sharing!
(
Tes Hilaire 7:57am December 21, 2012)

I took on the company Christmas party by myself one year. It was so much
work I was worried it would be a failure. It was a great success, but I did
ask for help and people jumped to help, they were excited to be asked.

(
Laura McLendon 5:55pm December 21, 2012)

Truth be told, I'm too chicken to get in over my head at
least not in the way the heroines in the PNRs do. I make my
excitement living vicariously through my favorite literary
heroines.

I've had your Paladin Warriors series on my TBR radar but
haven't had the chance to read any yet. I would love to win
Deliver Me From Darkness. The excerpt had me on the edge of
my seat. It's so suspenseful. I can't wait to see how the
see how it turns out. Thanks for the giveaway and Happy
Holidays.

(
Jennifer Beck 9:34pm December 21, 2012)

Let me start out by saying that your excerpt was amazing!! I was riveted to my seat!! The only time that I thought I was in over my head was a couple of years ago, when my Husband lost his job, and we lost our house. We had to live in our pop-up camper, moving around to campgrounds. Part of me didn't think we'd make it, but somehow, through the Grace of God, we found a place we could afford, and we've been clawing ourselves up ever since!! The road is hard, but we're survivalists of a sort. We're going to make it, and every month I'm more amazed by our progress!! It also makes me feel good to prove some people wrong, considering we lost everything!! It wasn't our fault, and we fought to the end. I'm proud of what we did. I'm looking forward to reading your book. Have a great Christmas and New Year!!
(
Peggy Roberson 9:46pm December 21, 2012)

(

I'm actually in the middle of one of those situations right
now. I took on a Sales Lead position with a company I have
never worked for. Now I have to learn the company, the
product, the customers and the associates in a short amount of
time. It is a bit overwhelming.
(
Karin Anderson 10:58pm December 21, 2012)

Love the excerpt - adding it to my list!
(
