Mystery Pet Lovers | Mystery Cozy

Los Angeles animal shelter manager Lauren Vancouver has a soft spot for animals in need—and a keen eye for crime. . .

Thanks to a savvy ad campaign featuring teacup pups sporting HotPets Bling—a new line of faux jewelry dog collars—small dog adoptions have skyrocketed across the city. So when Lauren discovers a shelter in the Midwest with more toy dogs than it can handle, she arranges a private plane to swoop in and fly the pups back to LA.

But Lauren didn’t count on rescue worker Teresa Kantrim coming along for the ride. Teresa has cared for the dogs since they were found and doesn’t trust anyone from La-La Land to take over the job. Her biting comments clearly haven’t earned Teresa any new friends, but when she turns up murdered, it’s time for Lauren to dig into Teresa’s past and find out who wanted her put down.

I'm amazed at how your mind works to come up with so many great ideas, but I'm also glad that you've come up with these ideas to be able to write such great books!! Your Teacup Turbulence cover is to die for!! I'm in love with the cover, and know that I'll love the story as well, even though it's sad how people can treat dogs so inhumane!! Covert Attraction sounds good, too, and sounds like a book that can be ripped from today's headlines!! I'll be looking forward to your upcoming books as well. Congratulations!!

All your books sound great. I've never ready ANY ... so even if I am not a lucky winner, I already feel I've won to have discovered a "new" author. But I thank you for this chance to win. And I'll be getting your books to read because they sound ... well, like my cup of tea.

We had a teacup chihuahua when our kids were little, and we loved that dog! If I had to rescue a bunch of teacup dogs, I'd probably have to keep a few. :)

(
Linda Luinstra 7:25pm January 27, 2014)

Your books sound great. I am a huge pet lover and hope to own enough land someday to be able to support my pet habit better. I have yearned to write grants for no kill shelters, but sadly, my grants were geared more toward housing, drug and alcohol programs, or youth programs. I did work with prison animal programs (Wild Horse gentling and puppy training and adoption). It is so wonderful to see an author that also has a deep love for animals and shows that love through her books. I visited your site and sent you a friend request on Facebook. Thank you for this chance to win your work.
