Are superstitions real? Rory Chasen doesn't think so—until
her beloved fiancé walks under a ladder and is killed by a
car five minutes later. Needing closure, Rory takes her
dog
Pluckie to a town called Destiny, where superstitions are
a
way of life.
Rory's visit to Destiny takes an unexpected turn when
Pluckie saves the life of Martha, the owner of the Lucky
Dog
Boutique. To show her gratitude, Martha offers Rory a job
at
the pet store. But when Martha becomes the prime suspect
in
the murder of the local bookshop owner, Rory refuses to
believe that she would do it. Rory is convinced the real
killer still roams Destiny's streets, and she must uncover
the truth before Martha is hauled off to jail.

What a wonderful posting, as well as a wonderful story that awaits me to read!! I love the names that you chose for the shops in Destiny, and it would be superstitious of me not to put you on my TBR list!! The cover is absolutely adorable, to say the least!! Whomever did the artwork for it, really did a bang-up job for you, and I'm sure that there are a lot of people who are going to want to read your book - me included!! I won't wait for a Friday the 13th to purchase a copy, because I can't wait that long, but I'm really looking forward to finding out how this story unfolds!! Thank you so much for sharing with us today!! (Peggy Roberson 11:30am October 7, 2014)
I like the Dalmatian ears and tail set... The full doggy costume just looks too hot... I love that you added the links. Very convenient. (Sonja Warmath 5:58pm October 10, 2014)
Who says dalmations can't be sexy?!? (Cheri Oggy 12:35pm October 29, 2014)
I believe in superstitions, and always have. I don't open umbrellas in the house, and in fact, haven't purchased any in a long time now. The only ones that I currently own belonged to my late Mother, and are in her umbrella stand that we used as kids. I also try to stay in the house on Friday the 13th, if at all possible. I won't go under an open ladder, because I'm afraid that it will fall while I'm walking under it, and if I'm cooking, I will do the superstitious thing with the salt over the shoulder. Is that superstitious enough?? I love the cover to your book, and know that I'll love your book even more, after staring at your cover for a while. Thank you for coming here again so soon, and letting us know a little more superstitious lore!! (Peggy Roberson 11:10am October 31, 2014)

We always have Golden Delicious apples and organic bananas in the house... Also blueberries to make smoothies with and to add to breakfast. (Nora-Adrienne Deret 2:58pm December 17, 2014)
