Kids struggle with that always stepping up for what they want and getting themselves into situations where they don't feel they have the power to walk away. Re: South Of Surrender (2:50pm June 1, 2013):

I think we all have some wires that don't quite connect or cross somewhere inside of us. You see some disabilities and some are hidden and the holders of those wonder why they aren't like everyone else. Putting the stories of people who face and overcome obstacles is refreshing because not everything is as easy as we would like to think. Putting that information out there makes us look at ourselves and our behaviours too, sometimes you don't realize what you do until you see it in print.

I have had a fallout with a friend that was so silly, it took about 10 years and then when we reconnected we wondered why we had let a silly fight keep us from speaking. I am trying now to say what I feel and really not sweat the small stuff because it really doesn't matter.

Rich in historic detail and splendor, back in a time before electronics became a staple. I have a vision in my mind that I realize strays from reality and would keep that vision of the good, the beauty and enchantment vs the brutality and the ugly in the gothic days.

Re: Reign (2:16am May 27, 2013):

It depends on the challenge sometimes it is a slow climb with a loved one, other times it is an adventure for the girls to take on as a journey.

Re: The Secret Life of Lady Julia (2:14am May 27, 2013):

My secret life would being able to go back a few centuries into the gothic ages and living a life there for a time.

Re: Lighten Up (2:13am May 27, 2013):

Re: Changing Lanes (9:14pm May 16, 2013):

Re: Cybersp@ce (12:15pm May 14, 2013):

No, the movies don't but I have to say I have really enjoyed the Harry Potter movies, they are amazing

Re: Falling For The Fireman (1:18am January 24, 2012):

They are real heros and showcase what it takes to give so much of yourself, there is nothing sexier than that...being real and giving to others.

Re: Banshee Charmer (2:02pm January 22, 2012):

Heros are people and they make mistakes, the best ones are those that redeem themselves. They should be strong, honest and sexy as all get out!

Re: Dreamers (10:22pm January 21, 2012):

A dreamer for sure!

Re: The Fallen Queen (11:45pm January 20, 2012):

Re: Hellsbane (10:27pm December 8, 2011):

Struggling with it. The kids are now teens and it just isn't the same, they are not really into it but still want the magic they remember from their elementary days. I am trying to get them involved by giving to others and doing deeds for each other. My one son took my other sons broken chain in and is getting it fixed for him as a surprise for Christmas :)

I like that it is original and includes a few of my loves too! I love food, I love reading and I love sharing my thoughts and ideas with the fantastic women in my reading group. My first thought is that the discussion of a book such as this one requires each of the book club group members to prepare a sweet dish!

It is cool that you can get inspiration from anywhere. This sounds like a good read!

Re: Until There Was You (11:58pm November 15, 2011):

The people we were when we were younger are the people we wish we could have given the confidence and knowledge that we hold now. Being older and a bit more aware of what a person is really about makes me think Liam is in for a mind boggling adventure.

Re: Tall, Dark And Cowboy (8:27pm November 7, 2011):

Re: Awaken The Highland Warrior (2:25am May 18, 2011):

I think they are definitely part of the author either as their desired alter ego or through life experiences. Sometimes we choose one path that sets the stones in motion vs the other path that would have smoothed the ride or caused a break in the road ;)

Re: Dragons Prefer Blondes (3:26pm May 8, 2011):

More and more I am getting into the youtube realm of things, it makes me feel more connected and I love that authors are blogging and doing these types of activities to bring their readers in, I think it strengthens their fan base.

Re: Love Drunk Cowboy (2:57am May 4, 2011):

It would take very little :) I am not the high heel type and favor boots, a laid back life and just going with the flow. It would be sweet to forget about the office and enjoy some downtime.

Re: The Devil in Disguise (10:50pm April 23, 2011):

I love reading about books the author enjoys and learning about what inspires them to write the books they do. What is the author's hopes for the characters, will the characters grow and develop (If in a series).

Re: It Happened On Maple Street (1:15pm April 19, 2011):

It is fantastic that people can speak freely and receive help when they are dealing with such a horrific life experience. These individuals that stand up for what is right are true heroes!

Re: Drip Dead (9:21pm April 14, 2011):

Sharing your passion is never a bad thing. It's funny how when we are young it is about fitting in by "being unique the same your particular group is ie. all having the same unique hairstyle lol, when you become a grown up it's all about being unique for real, when it is actually cool to just be who you are!

A woman in power who has a soft spot for a cowboy, sounds like a sweet read@

Re: Angel's Rest (4:45pm March 12, 2011):

I think a rebirth is something we can all practice in...we are and we are not that same girl we were 20 years ago and sometimes we are pigeonholed into a personality that we feel we must live like. We grow, we change, tragedy and blessings shape our new persona. Why not let everyone see you are you and not who you were typecast as.

Re: A Taste of Seduction (1:27pm March 11, 2011):

Re: The 1st Wife (2:53pm July 10, 2010):

I bake or take it out on the eliptical, depends on my mood :) When you give so much or yourself with writing it it natural to have an outlet of opposite nature...skating. PS I like your glam shot and then the skater look complete with ipod and helmet - which EVERYONE should be wearing when they go.

ONe of the favorite series I ever read was the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I love Jaimie and always look forward to being fascinated with a fictional character again :)

Re: Hidden Wives (4:34pm June 26, 2010):

I get in a funk, too busy, etc. Reading clears my head and makes me a better mom so I just need to make it my stress free time. I turn the tv off by 9 so I don't just sit in front of it when kids are in bed and take my book and a cup of tea and enjoy the me time.

Re: Dragon Unmasked (1:55am June 16, 2010):

I have had to put aside reading when my family demands took my spare time...so busy doing my grade 6, 8 & 10 homework that I don't have me time ;). I'm happy to say now that summer is coming my children will have a break and I will have downtime to enjoy more than a few good reads :)

Re: Royal Captive (10:31am June 15, 2010):

Yes, I think we all have thoughts about where we should go and what we should do then reality hits us and we look in the mirror and say hey that's not who I thought I would be but it always works out. I thought I would be a very career orientated type person, turns out after 3 children I still enjoy work but my priority is my kids and family. My son currently believes he will be a sponsored bike enthusiast for his career (I will not be the one to burst his bubble) and who knows...if you don't limit someone they really can do anything :)
