In this fourth in Spear's series, Private Eye Cameron
MacPherson and Faith O'Mallery are both on quests that
lead
them into the world of magical wolves…
Cameron
arrives in the Canadian Arctic to search for his partners
in
his P.I. business who are late returning from a hunting
trip. Faith is there to discover what her father had seen
in
the same area years earlier that had made him lose touch
with reality—man-wolves, he called them.
The two
tumble into an icy world of enemies bent on destroying
the
lupus garou kind. As they turn into lupus garou
themselves,
and bond with the pack that only they can rescue from
destruction, Cameron and Faith find their soul mates in
each
other.
Werewolves who as humans are sexy, loyal, and protective, and as wolves, regal, loyal and protective. A human with those qualities is my ideal man. Make him a werewolf, well that just adds spice. (Tanja Haack 12:36pm February 3, 2010)
Werewolves are such interesting creatures. What a great way to lose oneself in a story. (Christine Schultz 12:04pm February 5, 2010)
Tanja, mine too!!! :) And yes, spice it is! Thanks for commenting!
Christine, I so agree!!! (Terry Spear 7:30am February 5, 2010)
I don't know if wolves would benefit from having some human qualities. I definitely think that men could learn from wolves! Lupine, canine, devine : ) Happy Valentine's Day! (Virginia Campbell 8:24am February 5, 2010)
The wolves in your books are so real. And loveable and Sexy. (Donna Fournier 9:54am February 5, 2010)

I have been for waiting for this book. It might even answer the question from the "Heart of the Wolf", which did come first: white wolf, grey wolf, or red wolf. Got to have that question answered. (Kai Wong 12:32pm February 5, 2010)
Werewolves are wonderful! (Joanne Reynolds 12:55pm February 5, 2010)
Werewolves are so mysterious and exciting to follow. (Darci Paice 3:35pm February 5, 2010)

I have never thought of werewolves like this before! (Jodi Webb 6:39pm February 5, 2010)
Yes, such a werewolf could capture my imagination. Your wolves sound wonderful. (G. Bisbjerg 6:44pm February 5, 2010)
Wolves are such beautiful, nobel and loyal animals. So, if werewolves would have these qualities and those of reasoning, too, what's not to like...:> Your books are great...keep it up, Terry! (Cecilia Huddleston 6:57pm February 5, 2010)
I'm sure I'd enjoy this book whether or not I 'believe' in werewolves. I love wolves as animals. (Sandy Miresse 7:10pm February 5, 2010)
I also did not think of werewolves like this before. I find it very interesting. (Cynthia Plaza-Harney 7:20pm February 5, 2010)
Werewolves are a great character especially when they come with a moral code of honor. Being good looking doesn't hurt either. (Gigi Hicks 8:04pm February 5, 2010)
Lon Chaney Jr. set the bar pretty high many years ago. The original brooding, sexy werewolf - and still my favorite. Second only to Quentin Collins in Dark Shadows. (Vikki Parman 9:39pm February 5, 2010)
I've always loved wolves, so liking books about werewolves was no stretch. I can't wait to read about the White Wolf! (Molly Wilsbacher 9:57pm February 5, 2010)
Enjoy reading soulmate stories! (Sherry Russell 11:30pm February 5, 2010)
LOL, Virginia! I loved your comments. Yes, definitely, men could learn from the mating for life way of a wolf!
Thanks, Donna, yes, totally lovable and sexy, and just what every girl needs for Valentine's!!!
Danelle, if you dream hard enough, maybe a real life wolfish kind of guy, loyal and protective will be yours!
Hi Gail! Werewolves are such hunks, aren't they!
Colleen, thanks so much!!! I'm thrilled you love my wolves!!!
Ah, yes, Jessica, the perfect time for wolves as lovers. Hmm-hm!
LOL, Kai, I love fans who keep me on my toes. I'm thinking I might have to throw in another wolf there just to muddy the waters further!! :) Thanks so much for bringing it up!!
I agree, Joanne, werewolves ARE wonderful!
Darci, yes, I love the mystery. So much more fun than if they were out, and everyone knew they already existed.
Thanks, Leni!
Mary, thanks!! I hope you love Legend of the White Wolf!
Woohoo, Jodi, I'm so glad I managed to show at least one reader what werewolves should be like! :)
G. Bisbjerg, thanks! I hope you give them a chance!
Thanks so much, Cecilia!!! I so agree...they are beautiful and werewolves are the personification of all that is good in them. The werewolves that are not good, has nothing to do with their wolf's half, but their human half. :( Thanks!
Hi Sandy M, if you love wolves, you'll love these werewolves!
Cynthia, thanks!!! I'm so glad I've given you a look at how werewolves can be real, and not at all beast like!
Gigi, lol, so true!
Vikki, what do you think of the new Wolfman coming out? They're always trying to remake the classics, but so often the remakes have so much wand-waving magic in them that it loses something of the telling of the original story.
Thanks, Molly! I hope you enjoy Legend of the White Wolf!
Sherry, I love the concept of soulmates too.
Thanks, Wanda!! Love to hear what you think of Legend!! (Terry Spear 7:59am February 6, 2010)
I love your version of Werewolves yes there may be some bad guys but overall they are nice one that are looking for their mates. I'm not into the mean and vicious werewolves at all. (Sherry Strode 10:30am February 6, 2010)
Thanks, Sherry! :) I so agree! (Terry Spear 2:32pm February 6, 2010)
I sort of like wolves, as well as werewolves, though I am definitely not a vampire enthusiast. Kelley Armstrong's series about werewolves is one I've followed from the beginning and only some of the "gore" of the latest book put me off a little. I'm a real wimp about anyone's blood but my own if it's described or shown anywhere--fiction or reality. (Sigrun Schulz 3:20am February 7, 2010)
I'm a wimp about my own blood! :) Cannot look when they take it from me, Sigrun! :) I'm definitely not into gore. (Terry Spear 8:12am February 8, 2010)
I've read it, loved it and waiting for the next one coming out soon. (Diane Sadler 8:20pm March 12, 2010)
Thanks, Diane! I'm just now working on the final edits for Wolf Fever, coming in Dec also! :) (Terry Spear 9:01pm March 14, 2010)
