Romance Contemporary
Driven by guilt, biotechnology researcher Amanda Aligheri
spends every waking moment in her Silicon Valley
laboratory.
Desperate for a change, she makes a New Year’s resolution:
go to Napa, relax, and achieve some balance. The problem?
There’s no chance to soul-search while tempting-as-sin
winemaker Liam Flynn is around. Mandy and Liam have history
together, and one glance at his easy smile reminds her
exactly why she fell for him the first time. A software engineer at heart, Liam Flynn left a lucrative
position at a San Francisco tech company in order to help
his dad manage their third-generation family winery, and
he’s done his best to take the business to the next level.
Two years ago, sparks flew between Liam and Mandy, but the
moment he mentioned commitment, she turned and fled back to
the safety of her lab. When Mandy shows up at his winery,
she’s just as beautiful, intelligent, and stubborn as he
remembers…but this time Liam isn’t giving up without a
fight. Will one romantic, wintery week in Napa be enough for Liam
to convince Mandy he’s the one for her, or when the new
year
comes will she forget about her resolution and return to
Silicon Valley—and her research—without him?

I would love to read this book, sounds great! (Wilma Frana 11:00am November 28, 2014)
No stories but I love the Napa area (Teresa Roberts 2:38pm November 28, 2014)
My husband told me at one point that I was too young for him. Then he became engaged to a girl born the exact same day I was! I dated one of his friends for two years, but eventually things lined up right. We've been married for 33 years now. (Terrirri Chlapek 5:09pm November 28, 2014)
No, I do not. This sounds good. (Sue Galuska 10:42pm November 28, 2014)
No, I don't have a second chance story but I love to read about them. It's so great when love finally gets together. Will be looking forward to your book. (Sharon Extine 11:17pm November 28, 2014)
Yes after a 20 year marriage ended I ended up rekindling with a friend from 25 years ago, looking forward to Christmas together! (Darci Paice 1:13am November 29, 2014)
Yes but its a second chance on life, yesterday Thanksgiving my granddaughters husband was celebrating and he threw a firework Lit into a tin can it exploded and a piece of the tin severed the main vein in his leg he died 2 times at the hospital he has had surgery and doing well today he will be in hospital a week. (Bonnie Gonzales 1:14am November 29, 2014)
No we don't have a story like that among my friends or family. We do have an indecisive uncle. Grandma's uncle (WW1 vintage) usually had multiple girl friends writing to him all his life. As a life-long bachelor it didn't matter to him if they got married or not. We still have a lot of the letters. Grandma's never let us read them yet. (Laura Gullickson 1:32am November 29, 2014)
Thanks for sharing! (Heather Poindexter 4:55am November 29, 2014)
Darn Good Cowboy Christmas by Carolyn Brown is a good 2nd chance holiday story! (Sharlene Wegner 8:11am November 29, 2014)
I don't have a story, but love to read them! This one looks great, always wanted to visit Napa :) (Cheryl Hastings 8:32am November 29, 2014)
No FIRST chances for me yet, let alone second chances, LOL - but I do love these stories - it proves that hope still prevails! (Felicia Ciaudelli 8:01pm November 29, 2014)
I can love every type of love story. Well written with good characters, romance and a happy ending.....any kind of story can be wonderful to read. (Lisa Hutson 11:53pm November 29, 2014)
I do not have a second chance story, I wish I did... Your book sounds wonderful! (Alice Elzey 2:23pm November 30, 2014)
No second chances, but not too much of a first chance, either. I'd like to hope that would change, sooner or later, but I'm not holding my breath to see if it will.
Later,
Lynn (Lynn Rettig 5:29pm November 30, 2014)
Hope I can have a second chance... (Nancy Ludvik 10:24pm November 30, 2014)
sound like a great book to reding, i am ready for a second chance (Ann Unger 2:13pm December 1, 2014)
The first guy that interested me was drafted and killed while in basic training. Three years later I met "the one" on a blind date. He asked me to marry him on the second date and we've been married for 41 years. I found my "happy ever after". (Brenda Rumsey 12:32pm December 2, 2014)
I'm not sure if mine is considered a second chance story or not. About 5 years ago, I got a facebook message from a guy I went to school with. Turns out all those years ago in high school, he had a crush on me so bad that he couldn't even speak. He used to open doors for me and I thought it was wierd he didn't speak but I said thank you every time. Five years later, we are still together. He is the most awesome guy I've ever known. (Val Pearson 12:54pm December 2, 2014)
I don't have a second chance romance but I did get engaged on a dark starry Christmas Eve night on a bluff above the Pacific Ocean in Northern California! It was very special (Alix Poulter 2:19pm December 3, 2014)
no second chance romance for me or anyone I know. Books make the second time around so much better than real life! (Joanne Schultz 4:52pm December 3, 2014)
