I live in a nursing home and have somewhat limited movement from chronic Rheumatoid Arthritis. My big exercise is walking with assistance every day, maybe 100 to 150 feet. I spend most of my time on my computer or reading.

For most of my life I had various dogs, one at a time. However I now live in a nursing home where they are not allowed. I get my dog fix now when people bring their therapy dogs in so we can pet them.

I am disabled and now live in a nursing home due to Rheumatoid Arthritis. As I became more disabled over the years and less able to participate in activities, I have lost touch with friends and family. I now depend on one sister, her husband and her daughter for outside companionship. I hardly ever see my other sister and her kids and grandkids. So keep healthy.

I don't have set ideas on how a hero should act, except being protective of the heroine. Different stories require different heroes, if the story is good, I'll like the hero.

Your story sounds like one I'd love to read. I grew up hearing my father's stories about how tough the great depression was. He was always affected by it. During the worst part of it the only work he, his father and uncles could get was with the WPA.
