Carrie:
When she was just eighteen, Carrie and her high school
sweetheart, Mark Leland, snuck off to Las Vegas after
graduation and got married. When they returned home, Mark's
parents forced them into an annulment and Mark didn't resist.
Now he's got a second chance at redemption, but what will
win out? His coveted career and fast track lifestyle? Or the
one true love who has the power to erase the mistakes of the
past?
Raylene:
After her husband leaves her for keeping a dark secret,
Raylene hires a young woman who is down on her luck, only to
discover the woman is the daughter that she sold at birth in
order to give her husband his start. Can the Christmas
season bring the redemption she so desperately seeks and
reconnect her to the love of her life?
Christine:
Everyone in Twilight knows that Christine Noble can mix up
the most delectable concoctions and turn them into amazing
Christmas cookies. And the whole town also knows she can't
seem to find the ingredients for finding true love. Then
through the doors of her shops strides Eli Borden–the
man she still thinks of as "the best kisser ever."
This is on my list. (Pat Lieberman 9:26am October 29, 2013)
Your latest book has it all.....one that once you make the cookies, you can take a few for yourself, sit down in your favorite comfy chair with a nice cup of tea and read, read, and read to the very last page. Besides, you doesn't like cookies and a good book? Thank you. (C Culp 10:06am October 29, 2013)
Thank you for the recipe, Lori!! I've made thumbprint cookies before, but mine had a yellow batter, and were rolled in finely chopped nuts, and filled with jelly instead of a maraschino cherry. I'll have to give this one a try. As for your book, I know it's going to be a winner!! Who doesn't love a Christmas story, with cookie recipes to boot? I'll be getting my hot chocolate ready, and keeping my favorite seat free, so I'll have a place to get cozy. I'll also make sure to have plenty of flour on hand, and see what other goodies I'll have to pick up from the store, so I can add to my collection, since it's my favorite time of year to bake!! Have a wonderful Christmas!! (Peggy Roberson 12:27pm October 29, 2013)

I've made a version of these but I'll try adding cocoa the next time. Thanks for the recipe and I can't wait to put my fingers in the centers of the cookies and hold your book in my hands. (Alyson Widen 8:19pm October 31, 2013)
Thanks for the recipe. I always make several different kinds of cookies around the holidays and trade with neighbors. This will be a new variety. I would love to win a copy of The Christmas Cookie Collection. (Linda Harrison 1:23pm November 1, 2013)
