I remember hearing about your prior books somewhere, and I am now kicking myself if you'll pardon the expression - "from here to sundown," that I never got them to read!! After reading this excerpt, I can't wait to get my hands on this book!! It sounds just like the kind of book I'd love to curl up with for early Fall, with a nice cup of tea, and my new kittens at my side. Hi Judi! Although I loved your Tritone books dearly-I'm sooooo excited
with this series. You can never go wrong with magic. Especially if it goes
askew. I mean, isn't that why we all loved Aunt Clara from the Bewitched
tv show? Vana sounds like a fun character and can't wait to read Magic

A genie sounds convenient - put him back in the bottle when you don't need him around - but I sure it won't work out that way. This could be just like the Meg Langslow mysteres, which I love - Murder with Peacocks etc.
