Re: Deep Disclosure (4:22pm September 7, 2011):

Congrats on the new release, Dee. Can't wait to read Tucker's story. I think I'm living in the present and for the future, but also spend a lot of time thinking about the past and sometimes that is a waste of time and other times it helps you deal with the present.

Re: Under a Desert Sky (2:24pm June 18, 2011):

When I'm reading a book, the HEA means the resolution of conflict and the hero and heroine are secure in their love for each other. In real life it's harder to define.

Re: True Colors (3:30pm February 13, 2011):

I love the relationship between Jack and Liz on 30 Rock. They have chemistry, but it's not a romantic relationship and according to Jack it's a mentorship. I love how Jack gives Liz great romance relationship because she's so clueless.

Re: Yours For The Taking (3:05pm January 19, 2011):

Congrats on the new release, Robin. My perfect work day would start without me having to run to catch the bus/subway. The train is empty and I'll actually get a seat and enjoy the ride to work. No phone calls or urgent emails for me to answer would make the work day a breeze.

Re: Senseless (3:52pm January 7, 2011):

Congrats on the new release. I've never associated a song with a particular book, but some of my favorites are U2's "With or Without You," and The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony."

A flawed heroine is definitely more realistic and more relatable than a perfect one who always does and says the right things.

Re: The Viking's Captive (3:45pm December 19, 2010):

I do go back and reread my favorites like Julie Garwood's "Saving Grace" and "The Price." Also on the list are Lisa Kleypas' "Then Came You," Gaelen Foley's "The Duke" and Nora Roberts' Quinn Brothers trilogy.

Re: Deadly Intent (2:13pm November 10, 2010):

Congrats on the new release, Kylie. A flawed character is definitely more interesting than a perfect one. It's easier to root for someone who is more like us.

Re: The Making of a Gentleman (3:21pm October 20, 2010):

Congrats on the new release, Shana. It is nice when you read about a topic or setting you're familiar with. I also find myself comparing what I know about the subject and what the author presents to see if there are any discrepancies.

Re: Pursuit of Justice (7:54pm October 18, 2010):

I like reading about strong characters who know to handle everything that comes their way. I'm always up for a good murder mystery or thrilling suspense.

Congrats on the new release, Annie. I can see Gerard Butler as any of Julie Garwood's Scottish heroes.

Re: Sinful in Satin (3:18pm October 1, 2010):

I like clutch covers as well as scenic ones. My favorites are usually the stepback covers.

Re: Assassin's Heart (12:07pm August 25, 2010):

Congrats on the upcoming release, Monica. I do believe it's possible we've all had a past life or lives, but I have never felt any connection to this past.

I don't have a huge tbr pile, but I do find myself buying books faster than I can read them.

I love the Necklace trilogy and look forward to the Raines Brothers series.

Congrats on the new release, Carolyn. I would ask Travis what he loves most about Cathy.

Re: The Smuggler And The Society Bride (4:10am August 4, 2010):

Congrats on the new release, Julia. For me the best part of reading romance is watching the hero and heroine overcome adversity to find their HEA.

Re: Monster in Miniature (3:30pm July 30, 2010):

Sometimes books are categorized into many different subgenres and you don't know exactly what kind of book you're picking up. I don't usually mind as long as I enjoy the book.

Congrats on the new release. We met in school, so I was wearing jeans and a t-shirt.

I didn't participate in any challenges. I only got to read about eight books this month.

Re: Night Myst (3:40pm June 4, 2010):

Congrats on the new series and upcoming release, Yasmine. I don't have a problem with an author writing two or more series. I guess I might get a little impatient waiting for the next book in the current series while the author is busy starting her new series.

Re: I Love This Bar (1:37pm June 3, 2010):

Hi Carolyn,
Congrats on the new release and series. If a cowboy fell on top of me I would wonder how did I get so lucky. There aren't that many cowboys where I live.

Re: The Making Of A Duchess (3:31pm June 2, 2010):

Congrats on winning the American Title contest and on your debut release, Marie-Claude.

Re: Blown Away (4:17pm May 30, 2010):

I try to wait for the all books to come out before starting on them so that I can read them one after the other. Sometimes I can't wait to start the first book, but end up waiting six months or more for the second book to be released. I'm looking forward to Tessa Dare's Stud Club trilogy.

Re: Sex Drive (3:56pm May 10, 2010):

Hi Susan,

Re: In Shelter Cove (4:44pm May 4, 2010):

Congrats on the new release, Barbara. I do love men in uniform and they do make great heroes in romances because of their honorable qualities.

Re: Chasing Perfect (3:59pm April 28, 2010):

Re: Big Bad Wolf (2:38pm April 10, 2010):

I guess it would bother if I had read the original versions, but if I didn't I would probably enjoy the new reworked version. Publishing the books out of timeline would frustrate me, too.

Re: The Wild Marquis (3:56pm March 9, 2010):

Happy Release Day, Miranda. Can't think of any books off the top of my head where there were four nice parents between the couple, but Stephanie Laurens' Cynster series features some great parents. Orphans are appealing because you just can't not root for them.

Re: SEALed with a Ring (3:58pm March 5, 2010):

Congrats on the new release, Sandra. Some new authors I've just discovered are Lori Brighton and Beverley Kendall.

Re: Hold On Tight (4:08pm January 26, 2010):

Happy Release Day, Stephanie. When I come across something unfamiliar I do go look it up. It doesn't really yank me out of the story.

Re: Dangerous Highlander (4:09pm January 4, 2010):

Congrats on the new release, Donna. I have heard many authors say that they don't have a say regarding their titles.

Re: Take Me For A Ride (5:35pm November 25, 2009):

Re: Stolen Heat (5:56am November 19, 2009):

Hi Elisabeth,

Re: Dark Legacy (3:30pm November 18, 2009):

I think that message is true for many people.

Re: Over My Dead Body (4:46am November 16, 2009):

I loved it when Westley would answer Buttercup with "As You Wish."

Re: Kindred In Death (4:07pm November 8, 2009):

I do enjoy long running series. One of my favorites is Stephanie Laurens' Cynster series. Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series is also a favorite.

Re: The Wrong Side of Dead (5:30pm November 4, 2009):

Wow, that's a little disturbing. I do wonder what her real motive was in marrying this guy.

Re: Killjoy (3:38am November 3, 2009):

Magneto from the X-Men comics is one of my favorite villains because you feel a little sympathy for him because of his background.

Re: Haunted (3:32pm October 30, 2009):

My favorite witch is Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Re: Final Approach (3:31pm October 30, 2009):

I sometimes have a hard time unloading the candy that I don't like. We usually like the same kinds of candy.

Re: What The Duke Desires (10:27am October 29, 2009):

Congrats on the new release. I love series that involve families. Stephanie Laurens' Cynster series is one of my favorites and also Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series.

Re: Santa Honey (4:35pm October 23, 2009):

I have heard that some authors have been told by their publisher that their series might not be continued because of book sales.

Congrats on the upcoming release. I loved the first book in the Brethren series and can't wait to read the other books.

Re: My Wicked Vampire (5:11am October 20, 2009):

I haven't read many humorous paranormals. I agree on the importance of finding a balance between the light and the dark. I appreciate humor even in the darkest books.

Re: Finger Lickin' Fifteen (4:40pm October 17, 2009):

I like detailed descriptions. Allison Brennan is great at this. I know too much detail can bog down the story, but I like being able to picture the whole scene in my mind.

Re: The Promise (3:19am October 11, 2009):

I would attempt to read all of those books in that pile. I would never cast them aside.

Re: Can't Stand the Heat (4:45pm October 6, 2009):

Hi Louisa,
Congrats on your debut release. I love watching Bourdain's No Reservations. He's kind of a smart ass, but very funny.

Re: Love You To Death (3:47pm October 3, 2009):

Hi Shannon,
I loved "No Escape" and look forward to reading "Love You To Death."

Re: A Dark Love (4:23am September 30, 2009):

Hi Margaret,

Re: Lucky Break (4:53pm September 29, 2009):

Congrats on the new release. I do love humor in romances. I love the dialogue between the hero and the heroine.

Re: Shades of Twilight (1:52pm September 26, 2009):

I've never been to a "real" book signing or a virtual one. I do hope I get to meet some of my favorite authors someday.

Re: A Christmas Ball (5:48pm September 21, 2009):

Hi Emily, Alissa and Jennifer,
We open our presents at midnight, so it's technically Christmas Day. "A Christmas Story" is my favorite, too. I've always wanted a leg lamp.

Re: What I Did For Love (4:57pm September 19, 2009):

I like to read while I'm stretched out on the couch. The TV or radio is usually on when I read. I always have a drink next to me.

Re: The Trouble With J.J. (3:10pm September 7, 2009):

I do enjoy reading about alpha heroes. I like their take charge attitude, but also want them to have a humorous and sensitive side.

Re: Table Manners (3:07pm September 7, 2009):

It's been a rain free weekend so we went for a walk and did some window shopping. I think I'll go watch some tennis on tv. Happy Labor Day.

Re: Haunting Beauty (4:47am August 28, 2009):

There are definitely some things I would have done differently if I had the chance to. I think most of us have wished to have second chances.

Re: The Treasures Of Venice (3:57am August 27, 2009):

Hi AC,
Congrats on the new release. Can't think of what other occasions we celebrate other than the usual. I do remember celebrating the last day of school when I was little. Sometimes we celebrate after finishing a project at work.

Re: Feels Like The First Time (3:08pm August 26, 2009):

I'll probably go as a fallen angel with my halo on crooked.

Re: In the Master's Bed (6:15pm August 24, 2009):

Re: Bad Moon Rising (2:26pm August 8, 2009):

I've never been to a book signing at a bookstore or library and haven't had a chance to attend those conferences and reader get togethers. I do hope that I'll be able to meet some of my favorite authors some day.

Re: Nothing But Scandal (6:46pm August 7, 2009):

I don't usually identify with the heroines in books. I have occasionally noticed that we might share the same tastes in music and similar personality traits.

Re: Seduce Me (4:27pm July 29, 2009):

Congrats on the new release. Sexual tension is very important.

Re: Seeing Red (4:43pm July 27, 2009):

Never lived in a small town. I grew up in the city and still live here. It's nice because you can stay anonymous in a big city, but it's very crowded.

Re: Waking Nightmare (2:43pm July 22, 2009):

I would like to be video game tester. Seems like a fun job.

Re: Kiss Of Darkness (2:15pm March 27, 2009):

I had no idea the warriors would be so personable.

Re: Evil Without A Face (6:25pm January 29, 2009):

I'm a lot more careful when I'm shopping online. I make sure the page is secure before I type in my credit card information. I'm also more award of phishing emails that are supposedly from my bank or Paypal accounts.

Re: Wicked Burn (6:33pm January 26, 2009):

I'm also a reader and have discovered many new authors when they guest blog at various romance sites.
