First may I say what a stunning cover!! Second may I add that this is the perfect book for me to put on my TBR list!! I need something a little on the steamy side to keep me warm up North during these long Winter nights. Your book, along with a cup of hot cocoa is all I need to keep the chill away and take me to another world that I'd much rather be instead of looking at this snow. Thank you for the wonderful lead-in to the plot, and for sharing your time.

The cover on your book is so elegant. It looks like a Victorian Valentine Day dress. Just beautiful. I always watch what I write down on a piece of paper. It may come back to haunt you later in life. This is a book I could really appreciate reading. I'm Sold!

Thank you for the kind words. I agree--this cover is gorgeous. The first time my editor sent it to me, I printed it out and fell asleep with it on my bed so that I could see it first thing in the morning.
As to the book itself, I kept hearing my mother's voice as I wrote it. One of her favorite warnings was "Never put into writing anything you don't wish the whole world to know." I'm sure it comes from another quote, but I've never forgotten it.

I know models were used for at least the first cover. But I don't know the process. My lovely editor took considerable time discussing looks with me. The publisher listened and then the art department waved a magic wand. The stepbacks have all been incredible, too, capturing a dreamy mood.
