Romance Historical
He was a Highland Rogue Wicked with a Bow and Just
as Wicked with the Ladies. Declan MacGregor hadn't a care in the world beyond finding a
soft bed and a willing woman...until he had to escort Lady
Liadain Campbell to the English court. The woman needles him
at every turn, but he can't just abandon her to that vipers'
nest without protection. She Never Asked for
a Bodyguard... Liadain wasn't thrilled to be left in the care of her clan's
archrival. It was as if the man never had a lady tell him no
before! And yet as whispers of treason swirl through the
court and the threat of danger grows even sharper, her
bitter enemy soon becomes the only one she can trust...

Bad boys are all well and good, but nice boys are under-loved! That said, Declan and Liadain sound like they're going to be an incredibly fun pair to watch keep each other on their toes. (Alana Abbott 2:51pm February 21, 2013)

My favorite bad boy was named James MacPherson a true Scottish rogue and all too real! If you ever have the chance to have a man whisper gaelic poetry in your ear, no man will ever measure in comparison. The book sounds great! (Janis Milford 6:39pm February 21, 2013)
My first highlander, the one that made me fall in love with the Genre at first read, was Iain Maitland. Yummy! I look forward to each and everyone that I meet and glad to have found another author sharing her men! :) (Rosie Grindstaff 7:14pm February 21, 2013)

Bad boys are the kind that challenges us good girls to do things outside our comfort zone. OK, we may get into trouble but they definitely do show us how to live dangerously. (Kai Wong 10:06pm February 21, 2013)

Bad Boys are the best (Ava Curtis 1:57am February 22, 2013)
My husband is Scottish and I love the Rebus detective novels by Ian Rankin. Set in Edinburgh, they are very gritty. At times Rebus himself is no squeaky clean cop, but only in a good cause. Bad boys can have an air of glamour and excitement about them, but I'm usually thinking - no you don't want to fall for a man who'll treat you badly. As they often do. So I might like reading about them at times, but not for a partner. (Clare O'Beara 6:43am February 22, 2013)
My Scottish ancestors are grinning. Blessings, Marjorie (Marjorie Carmony 6:46am February 22, 2013)
This is my kind of read. Just fabulous. (Mary Preston 6:57am February 22, 2013)
Awesome excerpt, I love a heroine with sass and a hero who brings the sass out!

I love bad boys in books, but can't think of one right off hand except for Rhett Butler in Gone With the Wind. (Cathy Phillips 3:34pm February 22, 2013)
My favorite bad boy... Damon! (Chelsea Brooks 4:27pm February 22, 2013)
After reading your excerpt, there isn't a bad boy I could write about that would hold a candle to Declan!! You had me start sweating and laughing at the same time!! I know that I have to do whatever it takes to get my hands on this book, and find out what happens, from beginning to end. The latest book that I just read was by Janet Evanovich, and of course the bad boy would be Ranger. But as I said, he's nothing compared to Declan. He also doesn't fit into the same category, because he doesn't wear tartan. I do hope that if you have read her, that he does get to your heart anyway, because I REALLY do want to read your book!! Have a great weekend!! (Peggy Roberson 4:48pm February 22, 2013)
Looking forward to reading this book!! (Rose Germano 5:27pm February 22, 2013)
