Re: One Night (7:41pm June 23, 2013):

Can't say that I did, unfortunately.

Re: Lighten Up (7:18am May 27, 2013):

I don't think temptations are exclusive to those who don't
practice religion - I think religious people actually face
more temptations because they're constantly reminded of what
they shouldn't have or do.

Re: The Forsaken (2:26pm March 24, 2013):

I truly believe that nurses are living, breathing angels.

Re: The Forsaken (2:26pm March 24, 2013):

When my girls were younger,I was out taking a walk with them
and my mother. I was pushing my younger daughter in a
stroller and her older sister was trotting along just ahead
of us. At one point, she got spooked by a dog and took off -
right into the street. I reached for her, but felt her
clothes slip through my fingertips. She went right out into
the street, a car was coming and suddenly - it just stopped.
I don't know how the driver could have seen my daughter
because the sun was going down and she was just 2 years old
at the time, so she was small. But the driver just stopped
on a dime and I was able to get my daughter back to safety.
I always said an angel saved her that day. And now she's
getting ready to graduate from nursing school, so she will
be somebody else's angel soon.

Re: An Encounter at the Museum (1:34pm March 1, 2013):

Actually, it was at a museum in Boston, then we went to an
Italian restaurant for lunch afterwards.

Re: Cupid?s Shaft (9:50pm January 25, 2013):

One thing I have against erotica is the lack of a storyline.
I guess I just really like reading about the build up, the
foreplay, and the way it all plays out. In any erotica I've
tried to read so far, that seems to be missing or, if they
try to have a plot, it's very minimal, just a weak connector
to all the hot sex scenes.

Re: After the Rain (4:17pm January 21, 2013):

I think there's a relationship or two I might want to do over,
but really, I think I have to say go to college. I wish I did
it right out of high school and got the whole four year
experience and picked a great career rather than waiting to go
back after my kids were born. That was a tough route.

Re: Fall Into You (11:57am January 20, 2013):

I like to read series from the beginning. Jumping in in the
middle is like walking into a room in the middle of a
conversation where you spend the whole time trying to figure
out who people are talking about.

Re: The Missing Manuscript Of Jane Austen (11:09am January 6, 2013):

I like that aspect of revising, too! Just to relive what you
wrote before - sometimes, it's just magical.

Re: Fallen Angel (9:17am December 29, 2012):

I'm grateful for all of the time I get to spend with my
family. Time is precious and there just doesn't seem to be
enough of it.

Re: Live And Let Love (3:19pm December 28, 2012):

Wow! I haven't had a chance to read this series yet, but this
one looks good!

Re: Hellsbane (10:36pm March 15, 2012):

I love music, but don't listen to it nearly enough.

Re: Fever (9:31am March 12, 2012):

Oh, my gosh, I love that list! You must have had so much fun
coming up with it!

Re: The Rogue Pirate's Bride (5:27pm February 24, 2012):

I am a romantic at heart, so I am a sucker for the happy
ending. Plus, I just love reading about the build up to the
characters finding - and admitting to - love.

Re: The Fallen Queen (10:33am January 20, 2012):

I absolutely love stories about fallen angels and that is why
I will continue to read - and write - them. My favorite fallen
angel is Azazel, which is probably why I wrote about him!
Jane, your book sounds fantastic and I would love a chance to
read it!

Re: Mistletoe and Margaritas (3:55pm December 10, 2011):

Although I love the warm weather, I do love the changing
seasons. But I have always wanted to live in Paris, France.

Re: Miss Darcy Falls in Love (10:31am November 28, 2011):

What a wonderful world you've created!

Re: The Return Of The Stranger (5:10pm November 20, 2011):

Kate, I love stories like that! If I'm still thinking about
them long after I finished reading the, then that's the sign
of a good story, for me.

Re: Fortune's Son (5:20pm November 18, 2011):

I love the reformed rogue, too!

Re: Flawless (10:20am October 20, 2011):

I think everyone is redeemable, even bad boys. But I think
the line that shouldn't be crossed is this: He shouldn't be
intentionally mean or abusive to the heroine. If he verbally
abuses her or pushes her around, that's a different story.
If he's abrupt with her because he's on the defensive about
how she makes him feel, that's acceptable - as long as he
feels regret for it.

Re: Redeeming The Rogue (4:23pm August 30, 2011):

I used to love the Wild, Wild West! This book sounds awesome!
And I hate that feeling of a book ending, so I just write my
characters into another book!

Re: Blood of the Demon (3:55pm August 28, 2011):

Alpha heroes definitely get my attention! And these ones sound
fantastic!

Re: Lucky Girl (9:07am August 23, 2011):

This sounds like my type of book! Sounds like a fun romp!

Re: The Orphan Sister (3:39pm August 17, 2011):

This summer, I've spent a lot of time editing two books,
trying to keep cool in the killer heat that swept the
Northeast, and just enjoying time spent with my daughters.

Re: City Of Promise (8:29pm June 23, 2011):

I will be reading some Austen variations, the actual Austen
six, and a plethora of paranormal novels.

Re: Under a Desert Sky (7:15am June 19, 2011):

To me, happily ever after is finding someone you really like
to spend time with and learning how to just appreciate every
moment you have with them.

Re: The Lost Summer Of Louisa May Alcott (7:39am June 15, 2011):

I enjoy all of Louisa's books, but I have a soft spot for The
Inheritance.

Re: Louisa And The Missing Heiress (7:36am June 15, 2011):

I've never thought about it, but what an intriguing idea!

Re: SEALed Forever (5:26pm May 20, 2011):

Got to love the SEALS!

Re: Heart of Deception (5:00pm April 29, 2011):

I love hats, but I don;t think they look good on me. So I
settle for knitting them for my older daughter, who loves hats
more than me, I think!

Re: My Favorite Countess (11:49am April 28, 2011):

I love Derek Shepard on Grey's Anatomy.

Re: The Alchemy of Desire (3:00pm April 25, 2011):

I usually go for the alpha, too, but I like sexy bookish
types, too.

Re: The Devil in Disguise (10:34am April 23, 2011):

I love the goodies, such as deleted scenes, sneaks peeks and
the like!

Re: An Unlikely Countess (7:49am March 19, 2011):

I do like reading about the glitz and the glamor, I have to
admit!

Re: Scandal of the Year (7:35am March 4, 2011):

I long for the days when 40 mph was the fastest a car could
go. I think everything is moving far too fast these days.

Re: Wicked Seduction (12:09pm March 2, 2011):

I think I was more prone to act out like that with my heroes
when I was younger. I've learned to control it!

Re: A Light at Winter's End (9:53am February 24, 2011):

What a great interview! I love Julia's books.

Re: Love Me If You Dare (6:21am February 14, 2011):

My favorite part of Valentine's Day is remembering that it's
not just about romantic love. For me, it's letting all of my
loved ones know that I love them, especially my daughters.

Re: Society's Most Disreputable Gentleman (3:47pm February 9, 2011):

Yeah, there's something about the lure of the bad boy and the
belief that we could be "the one" to tame him. I don't know if
it can be done or not, but it sure is fun reading about the
women who try!

Re: Everyone Loves A Hero (6:38pm February 2, 2011):

He sounds like the guy I want in charge of my flight!

Re: Haunting Jasmine (9:31am January 30, 2011):

I love it! What an unusual premise for a book - nice twist on
the seeing dead people premise. This is on my list to read
now!

Re: Immortal Champion (6:14pm January 27, 2011):

I read romance because, in a perfect world, that's how it
should happen for all of us. Plus, it's nice to see how the characters s work themselves out of sticky situations and it
makes me realize that romance still exists.

Re: Kiss At Your Own Risk (3:42pm January 12, 2011):

I have too many stories like that to tell. The one I will
share, though, is my most recent triumph and that is seeing
my young daughter through back surgery. She had a very
severe case of scoliosis and had to have rods put in her
back to straighten her spine. The operation took 8 hours and
I spent that whole time alone in the waiting room - no one
in my family could be with me that day. But I'm happy to say
that she made it through the operation with flying colors
and is doing great. It will be four months ago, on the 14th,
that the surgery took place, but you'd never know it by
looking at her!

Re: Wicked Seduction (3:49pm January 11, 2011):

It sounds like you've got a tolerant husband -thank heavens he
understands the madness that can overtake a writer when
they're in the zone. For all I know, I could be agreeing to
buy my daughter something completely out of my price range
when I'm there!

Re: Double Cross (9:17pm December 22, 2010):

Hm, what would my power be? Probably that I worry too much
about everyone, which can literally make me sick.

This sounds like a really fun and different book!

Re: The Winter Sea (7:49pm December 20, 2010):

This book does sound wonderful. i really admire people who
write historical novels for all the reasons you stated and
more.

Re: The Heir (5:51pm December 16, 2010):

This sounds like a great book!

Re: Royal Blood (4:00pm December 5, 2010):

The holidays drive me crazy because I always want to get the
best gifts for everyone, but except for my daughters, most of
my family are kind of hard to shop for. I never know what to
get them, especially my mom.

Re: Jane Slayre (11:38am December 5, 2010):

You've listed some of my favorites, too! I'm always looking
for new ones, though.

Re: Gemini Night (3:04pm November 27, 2010):

Sounds like an interesting series of books.

Re: The Taming Of The Wolf (8:53am November 19, 2010):

That's a very interesting list -
makes me want to read about
werewolves!

Re: Falling Home (1:49pm November 12, 2010):

I really like the premise of
this book because I think, deep
inside, there's still a nerdy
teenager in all of us!

Re: Casting About (4:54pm November 8, 2010):

When I write, I like to
fictionalize as much as possible
about characters. That way I can
protect the not-so-innocent!

Re: Holiday Grind (11:57am November 5, 2010):

The snow flake latte sounds
delicious!

Re: Simply Irresistible (6:03pm October 29, 2010):

Having three sisters myself,
this sounds like a series I
won't be able to resist!

Re: An Accidental Seduction (3:05pm October 28, 2010):

I've got a few - Mr. Darcy, John
Thornton (from Elizabeth
Gaskell's North and South), and
Mr. Rochester.

Re: A Darcy Christmas (4:47pm October 22, 2010):

I love the sisters from Little
Women.

Re: The Secret History Of The Pink Carnation (3:47pm October 12, 2010):

I've read a couple of her books
and I can't wait to read the
rest!

Re: Sloane Hall (8:55am October 11, 2010):

I just remembered a very good
example of male POV that is
usually on everyone's best of
list: The Great Gatsby.
Written in the male POV about
a male protagonist. Classic.

Re: Sloane Hall (8:54am October 11, 2010):

I agree with Peggy. If the story
is well written and the
characters dynamic, then that's
all that matters.

Re: Seducing The Duchess (3:23pm October 6, 2010):

Ashley, Jude Devereux was one of
my favorite authors when I was
young, too! And I'm with you -
I'm not ashamed to admit that I
read romances.

Re: Until Emie (10:10am September 28, 2010):

Cops and firefighters are
probably my favorite. Love men
in uniforms!
Margay

Re: One Touch of Scandal (2:09pm September 26, 2010):

I reward myself with a good
book. And my kitties are
involved in my life in many ways
- they are attention seekers!

Re: Don't Cry (10:27am August 22, 2010):

My tbr pile could give Mt
Everest a run for its money.
Does that stop me from buying
new books? Nope. I just have
faith that I will eventually
read them all - I am an
optimist.

Re: Nemesis (6:49pm August 21, 2010):

I'm actually re-reading Pride
and Prejudice as I wait to find
another book that sparks my
interest. Always looking for
something new!

Re: The Smuggler And The Society Bride (10:07pm August 4, 2010):

I love all aspects of romance,
but especially the beginning
stages of love between the hero
and the heroine.

Re: Moonshine (6:04pm July 20, 2010):

I love a good sidekick! Some of
the best books I've read have
the most interesting and fun
sidekicks in them.

Re: Sworn To Protect (8:10pm June 25, 2010):

A long soak in a tub sounds so
good right now!

Re: Blown Away (2:13pm June 6, 2010):

I've signed up for a few
challenges, but found that I
read better on my own, when
I'm not pressured to. Plus, I
read A LOT of books as it is;
it would be too hard to keep
track of them all for a
challenge!

Re: Night Myst (7:15pm June 4, 2010):

I'm very open to writers
writing different genres, as
long as they do it well! A
good example is Meg Cabot -
she writes Contemporary, YA,
and even historical, and now
she has a paranormal book
coming out. She can do it all!
And she does it well.

Re: Strange Neighbors (10:41pm June 1, 2010):

I've never heard of a goals
group before, but it makes
perfect sense, especially in the
writing business.
Margay

Re: Ancient Whispers (1:47pm May 31, 2010):

Congratulations on all of your
success! I have a child with
special needs and I have
trouble standing up for myself
(I blame it on childhood
shyness and living in the
shadows of some very vibrant
siblings) let alone anyone
else, so putting myself on the
hot seat as I fought for her
benefits really pushed me out
of my comfort zone. I'm not as
bad now - probably because
I've been fighting for so many
years to get her the care she
deserves, I don't even think
of my own discomfort any more.
The mama bear personality has
really taken full effect with
me now!
Margay

Re: Dead in the Family (11:40am May 29, 2010):

Sara, I just finished Shade
and I have to say it was a
darn good book! I also just
finished 10 Things I Love
About You by Julia Quinn and
adored that, so it's going to
be tough to find something to
top them! I am looking forward
to Crescendo by Becca
Fitzpatrick. It's the sequel
to Hush, Hush, which was a
good book, too.
Margay

Re: The Teaberry Strangler (5:12pm April 25, 2010):

I think, ultimately, word of
mouth has a lot to do with it.
If a new author is getting a
lot of good buzz online or if
a friend recommends a book
they really liked, I'll try it
out. If I like it, I will
continue to purchase that
author's books - until they
disappoint me. If a book is
only so-so and it's part of a
series, I probably won't
continue with it. It has to be
good in order for me to
continue with it. If I don't
engage with the characters or
the story is kind of bland,
I'm not going to care too much
about what happens. On the
other hand, I will forgive
typos, grammatical errors, and
even so-so writing if the
story and the characters
engage me and make me care
about them.

Re: Big Bad Wolf (8:23am April 10, 2010):

If a book is part of a series,
I don't like reading it out of
order. It is confusing and
pulls you out of the story if
you spend all of your time
wondering what the heck is
going on and what happened to
people who are mentioned in a
significant way. It's like
sitting at a table with a
group of people who are all
friends who haven't seen each
other in awhile and they're
catching up on old times - and
you're the only one who
doesn't know what the heck
they're talking about.

Re: My Own Personal Soap Opera (8:40am April 7, 2010):

This sounds like another great
book (I loved Fire Me)! Can't
wait to read it.

Re: Take Me If You Dare (9:21am March 6, 2010):

I love watching the Academy
Awards even if I don't get to
see the movies beforehand and
this year, I'd love to see
Sandra Bullock and Jeff
Bridges win. Long overdue.

Re: Truly, Madly (11:54am March 3, 2010):

I don't believe I've ever
experienced love at first sight
myself, but I'd like to believe
that it's possible.

Re: The Edge of Winter (8:17am February 21, 2010):

I don't have a favorite book
with a season in the title, that
I can think of. Maybe I should
check them out again.

Re: The Betrayal Of The Blood Lily (7:25pm February 20, 2010):

I curl up on the couch or in bed
with a good book or some
knitting - always works for me!

Re: Chick with a Charm (8:23pm February 19, 2010):

I do love dogs but I am a cat
person. I've always had cats
throughout my life. Currently,
I have two black cats (they
are a black siamese/gray tiger
cat mix) who are sisters, Lily
and Coco.

Re: Promise Me Tonight (1:00pm February 12, 2010):

This is a good list of Valentine
heroes!

Re: The Dead Travel Fast (8:13am February 11, 2010):

Titles can be so important and
there are some titles that
make me think, How did they
come up with that? Sometimes
in a good way, sometimes not.
But I think they are important
because they can often be
reflective of what's inside -
and can determine whether or
not someone buys the book.

Re: Catch Of A Lifetime (5:53pm February 2, 2010):

Congratulations, Judi, on all
your success! So happy to see
all your dreams come true.
Margay

Re: The Secret Of Joy (11:23am January 28, 2010):

This book looks so interesting!
It's on my wish list.

Re: Come Hell Or High Water (10:36am January 10, 2010):

For me, a perfect day is one
in which I get to read a
little, write a little, work
on some knitting, and get to
the end of the day without
feeling drained due to the
M.S. Any time I can pretend I
don't have M.S. because I'm
not tired, in pain, or feeling
other symptoms, is a good day
to me.

Re: Deadtown (10:34am January 9, 2010):

I love reading about the
mythology behind the characters
created.
Margay

Re: Sizzle (6:03pm January 8, 2010):

I think all characters are
defined by the challenges they
face, so I guess a hero could
be defined by his enemies -
especially in regards to how
he handles them.
Margay

Re: What I Did For Love (9:17am December 29, 2009):

Some of my favorites this year
were According to Jane by
Marilyn Brant, Fire Me by Libby
Malin, and A Most Lamentable
Comedy by Janet Mullany.

Re: Dark Slayer (8:52pm December 28, 2009):

I love the Twilight series by
Stephenie Meyer and the Blood
Coven series by Mari Mancusi.

Re: Searching For Pemberley (4:39pm December 22, 2009):

Like many other people, I am
fascinated by all things
Austen and how she became such
an influential author with so
few books. Because of this, I
love to read other people's
takes on her work. This one
looks good.
Margay

Re: Rainwater (10:43am December 13, 2009):

Sandi, I totally agree. To me,
historical is anything that
occurred before the 1900's.
Like you said, if you feel
like you could know one of the
characters in our time (i.e.,
they could still be alive
today), then it isn't really
historical to me.
Margay

Re: The Strangely Beautiful Tale of Miss Percy Parker (8:37am December 4, 2009):

I would give it to my mother
because she's always looking for
something to read and I think
she might enjoy these books.

Re: My Unfair Lady (8:32am December 4, 2009):

I think one of my favorite steps
is number 5 - research. I love
to research! Perhaps too much...

Re: Searching For Pemberley (11:35am December 3, 2009):

Mary, I also engage in
mindless tasks, such as taking
a walk, when I need to work
something out. When I just
need to relax after doing
something tasking, I love to
knit. It's amazing what you
can accomplish by doing that.
Not only do you create
something beautiful, you also
free your mind of stress.

Re: The Splendor Falls (10:24am December 1, 2009):

I would really love to win this
book for my daughter, who needs
a way to unwind from her nursing
studies at college.

Re: Scorched (10:21am December 1, 2009):

Looking forward to getting
Scorched!

Re: Knit The Season (4:36pm November 27, 2009):

Kate, I learned to knit (and
crochet) as a young girl -
from my mother, who knows how
to do just about every craft
there is, from sewing to yarn
crafts - but I let it go for a
long while and just
concentrated on crocheting,
which I thought was easier.
Well, about eight years ago, I
decided to try knitting again,
so I got myself a little kit
with some needles and
accessories and a magazine
with patterns. My first
project was a hooded pullover
with pockets. I haven't
stopped knitting since! By the
way, I think your series
sounds fabulous!
Margay

Re: Over My Dead Body (9:49am November 16, 2009):

I'm really fortunate that I have
a mother who loves to cook and
bake - so I am taking advantage
of it while I can!

Re: Willoughby's Return (9:46am November 12, 2009):

I love reading sequels to old
favorites! This sounds like an
interesting book.
Margay

Re: Final Approach (12:50pm October 30, 2009):

My kids would always go
through their bags on
Halloween night and all the
stuff they didn't like (if I
didn't like it, either)would
go to their uncle, who likes
just about everything.

Re: The Pelican Brief (10:58am October 27, 2009):

I totally agree.

Re: The Other Mr. Darcy (6:18pm October 16, 2009):

I am very interested in this
story, if only to see that there
is a good side to every person!

Re: The Trials Of The Honorable F. Darcy (4:32pm October 15, 2009):

I would love to imagine that I'm
like Elizabeth Bennett, but I
think I'm most like Eleanor
Dashwood.

Re: A Hollywood Ending (9:12am October 11, 2009):

My go-to authors are Julia
Quinn, Luanne Rice, and
Sabrina Jeffries, just to name
a few. But two authors who
really impressed me recently
and broke through my inner
circle are Marilyn Brant - who
wrote the fabulous According
to Jane - and Libby Malin -
who wrote Fire Me. These are
two authors who are now on my
to read list.
Margay

Re: Shades of Twilight (8:24am September 27, 2009):

I've never had the opportunity
to be at an author signing,
virtually or otherwise, but I
sure would love to!

Re: What I Did For Love (12:42pm September 19, 2009):

I don't know if I have a
particular ritual when I read.
The only thing I always do is
get comfortable because I
know, once I start, I'm going
to be there for awhile!

Re: Loving Mr. Darcy (7:36pm September 10, 2009):

I also love learning about
interesting places when I
read. It really adds to the
flavor of the story when
landmarks are used that might
be familiar, even in a small
way, to the reader.
Margay

Re: Highland Rebel (1:54pm September 3, 2009):

I don't always get swept away. Sometimes, I am conscious of the fact that I'm reading. Then there are those times when I'm totally swept away and begrudge intrusions - like having to eat, go to bed, that sort of thing. This just happened for me recently with a book I finished this morning, an arc of According to Jane, by Marilyn Brant. I am also finding it in Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles. So far, this has been a good reading week for me!

Re: Dragons Prefer Blondes (11:16am August 29, 2009):

I've watched some author interviews on their websites or places like Borders.com and I thought they were pretty interesting. I guess it all depends on the author and what they have to talk about it (that makes me watch them).

Re: The Treasures Of Venice (11:16am August 27, 2009):

A very special day I recently celebrated was my older daughter's graduation from high school. But now she is off to college (on Saturday!) and I'm feeling kind of sad - I'm going to miss her so much!

Congrats on the new release!

Re: Air Time (3:44pm August 25, 2009):

Hi, Hank, I thought I met "the one" before, but his addictions ended that relationship some time ago. Still, I don't regret it because I got two wonderful benefits out of the deal - I call them Leah and Marissa and they are my life. I love your story about Jonathan; he sounds like a wonderful guy.

Re: Breaking Loose (12:34pm August 13, 2009):

One thing I love about romance novels is the interaction between the main characters and not just the obvious big gestures that land them in bed. I like the verbal sparring, the stolen glances, the accidental touches - all of the subtle beats in their songs of love.

Re: The Perfect Couple (5:55pm August 9, 2009):

This happened with Delilah Marvelle. Despite the success of Mistress of Pleasure, the publisher stopped her series after the second book came out, Lord of Pleasure.

Re: It Happened One Night (8:40am July 31, 2009):

The thing that has caught my attention is how crazy the weather pattern is here in Massachusetts lately. Much of the summer has been spent under a cloud - a cloud spewing rain, lots of rain. Then a couple of days of extreme heat, followed by...more rain. Can't wait for autumn.

Re: The Plight Of The Darcy Brothers (12:50pm July 24, 2009):

Although I love Pride and Prejudice and love reading more about it, I would love to see something more of Emma. I just know her matchmaking ways did not end with Knightley coming to his senses.

Re: Dragons Prefer Blondes (8:24am July 9, 2009):

Definitely Batman. There's something about a tortured soul, as you said, and Superman seems, well, a little too perfect. Who could measure up?

Re: Object of Desire (7:45am July 9, 2009):

How can you even think about sex when your life is in danger? Guess I'd have to read the book to find out!

Re: Loving a Lost Lord (7:50am June 28, 2009):

I have noticed that. There are a few authors I can think of (not naming names) who do this and that can be very off-putting. As a reader, I am always looking for something new, something challenging. I don't want to read the same story with different names and settings. If I wanted to read the same story, I'd just reread the original book. As a writer, I like to observe how others keep it fresh and try to discern how they keep it new and don't retread the same story ground.

Re: The Scot And I (6:17am June 25, 2009):

This new series sounds wonderful! I will have to check it out.

Re: Seducing an Angel (1:05pm June 23, 2009):

I wholeheartedly agree. And I'm happy that you made the differentiation between loving oneself and narcissism. Once one understands that to love ourselves isn't automatically narcissistic, it makes the process so much easier!

Re: Dragons Prefer Blondes (11:53am May 23, 2009):

I think I'm somewhere in between. If I see some buzz about a particular book and it catches my interest, I will plan to go get it and read it. But then there are times when I just like to browse and find something cool that I have to read. So although I think book clubs are cool, I don't know if I could completely run with the pack and read assigned books without being distracted by a new one.

Re: Dead And Gone (10:25am May 9, 2009):

I actually haven't had this problem. Sure, I hear the voices of the characters when I read, but I haven't been disappointed with actor portrayals in film or television versions of my favorite books.

Re: Sea Lord (9:53am May 5, 2009):

I loved reading fairytales growing up. I remember Reader's Digest put a bunch of them out (I still have one of the books, wish I had the rest) and Fairytale Theater with Shelley Duval was such fun! I would like to see new interpretations of some of the other tales, like Rapunzel.

Re: Enchanting the Beast (6:51am April 28, 2009):

Well, if you look up my name in the dictionary, it is a cat, kind of like an ocelot, indigenous to South America, so I guess I would be a were-cat. And I don't know about you, but I think this explains why so many dog owners look like their pets!

Re: The Promise (7:11am April 19, 2009):

My mother has a picture of me at age two with a book and it looks like I am really reading it despite the fact that the book is upside down. To this day, I can still read upside down! I remember learning to read in school and picking it up so quickly that I always read ahead of the class to see what was going to happen next - I didn't want to wait for the teacher. That is a trait that carried through all of my years of high school and college. There is just something magical about books and I can never get enough of them. I have at least have a dozen books going right now, one for each room, practically!

Re: Paradise Valley (11:06am April 11, 2009):

I just finished reading Janeology by Karen Harrington, which tackles the tough question of who is culpable when one parent kills their own child. I think I need something lighter for my next read. Perhaps I will go back to For the Love of Pete.

Haven't been to the movies in awhile, but I am loving Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Dancing With the Stars, and the new show The Unusuals on tv.

Re: Would-Be Witch (6:25am March 16, 2009):

I would love to go to London at the height of the Regency period.

I am very interested in this book.

Re: The C.O.O. Must Marry (2:17pm February 27, 2009):

My long journey to success is that after writing for xx years, I finally saw my first book in print this past November.

Thank you, Candy, for the shout-out.

This sounds like a great trip. I can't wait to read this book!

I am a Northerner, raised in Massachusetts, but my father was from Virginia and I lived there for almost a year with him, so I like to consider myself part Southerner, too.
