Romance Erotica Sensual | Erotic
When treasure hunter and spy Laurel Blackwood raids
Victoria Peak in Belize to
recover a rare Mexican fire opal rumored to evoke dark
desires and passions, she
unwittingly sets off a sequence of dangerous events—and
finds herself in the midst of a
battle between good and evil… and lust and love. Being chased through the Yucatan jungle is perilous enough,
but Laurel must also keep
the opal from falling into the hands of a deadly terrorist
cell, a greedy Belizean dignitary,
and one particularly hot and scandalous treasure hunter
named Devon Mallory. For ten years, Devon has had his eye on the $30 million
prized opal and his heart set on winning Laurel for keeps.
But her web of secrecy and now her betrayal over recovering
the legendary stone without him has Devon hell-bent on
stealing the opal from her and
collecting on the massive payout. But Devon will have to
make a choice soon, and decide which gem is his true object
of desire...

Action + passion...wouaw, sounds like something I'd really to read !! I love romantic suspense when the romance isn't overshadowed by too much action. (Joeelle Jappissont 4:17am July 9, 2009)
I understand your problem. I just finished a book where everyone is in danger but they wait a day or two to do anything so they can jazz up their romance. I kept thinking "How can you plan for tomorrow let alone the rest of you lives if you get killed by this maniac today?" (Karin Tillotson 7:43am July 9, 2009)
How can you even think about sex when your life is in danger? Guess I'd have to read the book to find out! (Margay Roberge 7:45am July 9, 2009)
sounds very hot! (Debra Czarnogursky 7:46am July 9, 2009)
"Object of Desire" sounds like a good read. Could use an escape from the economy & news. I have always loved the name Devon. (Donna Petrilla 7:47am July 9, 2009)

Ooh sounds like a good read. Steamy! (Sarah Keery 7:58am July 9, 2009)
I like when the tension increases, for the words fly by, the pages flip fast until the reader has a breather and can't hardly wait for the next excitement. (Alyson Widen 9:14am July 9, 2009)
Happy release! :D Your book sounds fun. The blog today was delightful, it made me giggle. :) Congratulations! (Rachael Grime 9:33am July 9, 2009)
LOL. Great intro for your book. I am going to have to look for Object of Desire next time I am at the bookstore. (Chris Roberts 9:35am July 9, 2009)
Mornin', everyone! Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment!! I had great fun writing OBJECT OF DESIRE and I hope you'll enjoy it, too, if you pick up a copy (on sale July 15!!). Good luck on the contest and visit my website for more chances to win beach bags and free books! Best--Calista (Calista Fox 1:13pm July 9, 2009)

Sex and suspense a great combination. God luck with your book (Diane Sadler 8:11pm July 9, 2009)
Sounds like a good summer read. Now all I need is the time to do some reading. There is nothing like a challenge and a little bit of danger to put a little extra spark into a relationship. Sounds like you did a good job of including a lot oft\ that in this story. Good luck with the release. (Patricia Barraclough 9:28pm July 9, 2009)
Your book sounds great, I will be watching for it. (Sharla Long 10:30pm July 9, 2009)
Sounds like the type of book I am writing now. Never thought I would be writing a mystery/suspense/romance novel in my lifetime. I'll have to read Object to find out how you pull off the sex while the hero/heroine are running for their lives. (John Wayne Cargile 6:28am July 10, 2009)
Wow sound like just the one... (Ann w 11:14am July 10, 2009)
