Re: The Duke's Quandary (12:10pm March 17, 2014):

Re: Must Love Dukes (11:53am February 27, 2014):

My most awkward moment was the day I met my husband. I was angry as I was suppose to meet another guy. His friends introduced him. Since I had just moved into an apartment I handed him my address and phone number. I never expected to hear from him. He called next day and we had our first date on East and was married in June.

Re: Wishing On Buttercups (5:35pm January 26, 2014):

Right now I am totally feeling worthless. Why? Because the church keeps judging me and butchering me to pieces. I am walking out of church forever and will never darken the door of another church. I'm done. I still love God, still know what I believe and where I am going. But I will not go to church.

Re: Upon a Winter's Night (2:13pm November 6, 2013):

My favorite part of Christmas is giving. I started last year by giving my two older grandchildren money and they made a list and I let them shop for gifts for grandmother, father and step-mom (my daughter) - not Grandma (me) and grandpa as it was part of our gift to them. My granddaughter begged to do it again this year as she said I was right - giving was the best part. I love the delight in my grandchildren's eyes when they open their gifts. I will put up my tree this year especially for my grandchildren.

My Mom was racist and blamed my Grandma. But my Grandma would walk down street to visit friends who were black often with me. I am glad she shared with me these friends as they were all special.

Re: Nickeled-And-Dimed To Death (2:18pm March 22, 2013):

I have never heard of such a thing. I have an author friend who has written several series and all different. When they are a new series they are expected to be different. Re: Protector (10:09pm March 2, 2013):

I always have a book with me where ever I go. In a doctor's office, sitting in car waiting on house, by my bed, etc. I have found out my doctors like the books I read and got to know my doctors well because of having a book. In fact my Arthritis Specialist gets excited because I bring her a book every time I am there. She says that way she can read them on plane when she has seminars.

I would like to do so many things over. I would have NEVER given in to my husband's wanting to live on a rv camping resort to save money between jobs. Then I would not have ended up where I am now. But my son-in-laws told me they are glad, I cannot change that or they would not have met my girls.

Re: Seven Days Normal (5:48pm January 6, 2013):

Re: The Reluctant Matchmaker (7:18pm July 10, 2012):

My husband was 6 ft. 1 in. when I married him and I was 5 ft. 3 in. Height did not matter. I told him it made it perfect for kissing to reach up to kiss him. I remember my gym teacher in Jr. High was 4 ft. 11 in. and married a much taller man. She said she had to step up on a block to be able to kiss him but she loved him and that was all that mattered. So it does not reflect the relationship. My husband and I have been married 33 years now.

Re: Honorable Rancher (7:05pm June 21, 2012):

Re: Sticks and Stones (10:25am March 21, 2012):

Re: Real Wifeys (7:17pm January 15, 2011):

I believe in soul mates - married mine going on 32 years in June.
I have not read any of your books and would love to win one, read it, and review it. I will be checking you out after reading this.

Re: The Fire In Ember (2:19am January 10, 2011):

I love historical romances. I love it when the heroine has hardships to face and overcome. In marriage there are many hardships and difficulties that come our way. A prince charming is nice but committment to each other is so much better. I had a hard time getting away from feeling I needed to be a princess. I do not know how that is. Yet little things my husband does for me when I'm hurting now mean so much.
I love your books DiAnn. But fairy tales are just that. There isn't a happy always after in real life. Yet one can have a wonderful marriage and life but not taking it easy. It takes work.

Re: Pursuit of Justice (6:14pm October 18, 2010):

I like a story that takes me on an adventure. I also love one that leads to faith and shows the struggles we humans sometimes have.
A book that catches my interest at the beginning and builds to the point I cannot lay it down. I've been writing reviews this past year - one even for you - and sometimes a book will be read in two or three days with little down time.

Re: Aching For Always (2:23pm August 14, 2010):

I would love to win these books. I would not only be blessed but so would you when I review them for you. God Bless your day.

Re: Roast Mortem (2:13pm August 14, 2010):

Sounds good to me. I love lattes and I would love to get to know a new author to review her books. This past year I have found so many authors I never heard of and enjoyed some great books.
God Bless.

Re: The Cowboy From Christmas Past (2:49am February 12, 2010):

My Mother-in-law liked the short stores because she could read them and not have to read a big book. But she is gone now.
My Mother taught me to love books and it is hard sitting here right now going through books I sent her with Best Mom in the World inside - dates, messges, etc. over the years.
I am putting all her old Grace Livinigston Hill books in order by dates and some go back to 1914. These she got from our church Library and belonged to my Sunday School Teacher in 8th grade - amazing.
I just buried my Mother's body last week but God took her home and it is hard as I've sit here a week not wanting to unpack or put away the books.
You have been a special friend of mine for sometime and I love checking in ofen.

Re: Promise Me Tonight (2:25am February 12, 2010):

I would love to win Promise Me Tonight. I love finding new authors and reading all types of new books.

I would love to read this series and win it so I could review it and make it known in this area.

Re: Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy (11:57pm January 11, 2010):

I like what I read here. Also I like the fact you are a doctor. I give my Arthritis Specialist and my PCP doctor and staff books to read since learning we all enjoy same type of books.
I also love Jane Austen books.

Re: Over My Dead Body (11:38pm November 30, 2009):

I would love to win this for my daughter, her partner and his kids. They are not going to have anything for Christmas otherwise. I cannot afford gifts even for my step-grandchildren. Their Mother is up on burglary charges and their Dad is disabled and fighting for complete custody of them to protect them. Their Grandpa is very ill and their Grandmother is going blind.
These kids don't know what it is to get anything new for anything.

Re: The Lute And The Liar (1:57pm October 7, 2009):

Would love to win the book as I have not read any of yours. I would review it too.
I have thought about writing but it seems so complicated to break into it and it seems I never have time for anything but running for my youngest daughter who does not live at home. Her car is broken down. I would not be interested in the ebook - only the printed book.

Re: A Christmas Ball (11:19am September 21, 2009):

My fondest Christmas memory when a year when we had no money for food or gifts. The church had groups draw names and bought each of us 5 kids a new outfit for Christmas. I was 12 years old and had never had a new outfit in my life. They came on Christmas Eve with the gifts and food too. We were going to have potato soup that year for Christmas but instead got to have ham with all the trimmings. Even though we were poor, we always decorated even if we spray painted tumbleweed and made ornaments.

Re: The Cowboy From Christmas Past (9:25pm July 13, 2009):

Re: Dial Emmy For Murder (5:47pm June 20, 2009):

Hello to an author I have not heard about before - one reason I take this blog. Your interview is interesting.
I would think writing a book with someone else would be very difficult - especially a man. Women and men think with different sides of their brains.
I'd love to win your book so I could review it.

Re: The Texas Twins (6:08pm June 11, 2009):

Hey Tina - your friend, Jane
I am one who loves puzzles and in all my life I have found only one I gave up on. It was a field of daisies and I was seeing daisies in my sleep. I just could finish it.
Wanted you to know I am a member of fresh fiction and visit monthly. Glad to see you here.
I would love to win.
