Re: Justified (7:03pm December 24, 2015):
I loved your recipes and will make them this year. My daughter-in-law goes nuts every Christmas, baking a variety of breads and cookies which are all fantastic. No matter how many years go by or how far apart our families are, the memory of those baked goods and our families being together will always be my favorite memory.
Re: Here Today, Gone Tamale (8:42pm December 2, 2015):
This book sounds like a good read.
Re: A Cup Full Of Midnight (9:25pm September 6, 2012):
I love it when an author talks about someplave I know. It always makes me feel as if I am really IN the book. [email protected]
Re: The Last Victim (12:24pm August 6, 2012):
Listening to your inner-voice and writing books just for you, has made you the temendous author you are. I haven't found a book you have written that I haven't loved and I have read many of them.
Re: Waking Up Dead (12:14pm November 26, 2011):
This book sounds like a Must Read and that is exactly what I have to do...I must read Waking Up Dead! mom1248(at)att(dot)net
Re: The Norse King's Daughter (1:30pm October 2, 2011):
When I am in a reading slump, I start re-reading the books I especially liked that are in my bookshelves. Of course, there's many Sandra Hill books that have been reread many times.
Re: Tempted (12:12pm September 15, 2011):
I haven't read this series before. I would love to win. mom1248(at)att(dot)net
Re: Midnight Fear (2:16pm August 7, 2011):
Midnight Caller and Midnight Fear have been put at the top of my TBR list!
Re: Burning Darkness (1:02am February 2, 2011):
Almost anything can be forgiven...except for a crime against a child. Animal abuse is a close second.
Re: Fatal Justice (1:57pm January 6, 2011):
I love mysteries and I love series. The Fatal books sound really good! mom1248(at)att(dot)net
Re: Precious and Fragile Things (10:06pm December 17, 2010):
I really like the sound of this book. mom1248(at)att(dot)net
Re: To Conquer a Highlander (12:53pm July 12, 2010):
I collect books. I had to put a couple of boxes of books in storage, because I ran out of room in my bedroom...my three bookcases are stuffed!
Re: Unchained (6:15pm July 5, 2010):
Unchained sounds like a must read. I can hardly wait to get it! mom1248(at)att(dot)net
Re: Desire Me (11:27am June 9, 2010):
I have never been on a Scavenger Hunt. They sound like they could be a lot of fun. Friends who have been on one say they had a lot of fun. I feel so deprived! mom1248(at)att(dot)net
Re: Strange Neighbors (4:55pm June 1, 2010):
I love "normal"! Please, enter my name in your drawing. mom1248(at)att(dot)net
Re: Ancient Whispers (1:35pm May 31, 2010):
Congrats on your book and your win...how exciting for you! I forced myself to step out of my comfort zone when I started doing volunteer work. I am very shy around strangers and it was hard on me for a while, but I forced myself to do it and it felt good.
Re: Sex And The Single Earl (11:29pm May 19, 2010):
I like the small town setting. I have always lived in a large city, where outside of my block, I know very few people. A small town seems friendlier.
Re: Haunting Warrior (2:36pm May 12, 2010):
I would go to Scotland's distant past and hope to meet a gorgeous Highland Laird.
Re: The Jaguar Prince (12:43pm May 8, 2010):
I loved the post...I needed a smile to start the day off right! I can hardly wait to read the books that were inspired by a screeching bird, a horny cat and two idiot dogs!
Re: A Thread So Thin (12:32pm May 8, 2010):
I really enjoyed your post. I don't think I have ever read YA, not even when I was a Young Adult. They seem to be a bit young for my tastes.
Re: In Shelter Cove (6:18pm May 5, 2010):
My favorite type of hero is the rancher, the police man, the fireman, the pilot...everyman can be a hero if a situation arises. That's the type I like.
Re: Touching Darkness (6:15pm May 5, 2010):
I'm a grandmother. The best part is being with my son, daughter-in-law and grandson everyday. The worst part is, when they argue about whatever, trying to keep my opinions to myself, especially when it has to do with my grandson.
Re: His Border Bride (12:54pm May 3, 2010):
My favorite hero is the one in the book I am reading. I kow that doesn't make too much sense, but it's true. No matter what book I am reading, I love the hero. Most of the time he starts off being a jerk, but then he starts thinking about things and he becomes a hero. I love every one of the heroes.
Re: Dead Head (8:46pm April 14, 2010):
This sounds like a must read...for me. I don't know many of my neighbors and none of them well. They could be in your book!
Re: Just Fooling Around (4:53am April 2, 2010):
My son and daughter-in-law went to the store at one in the morning of April 1st. About forty-five minutes later, my son called me and said Jenni had been pulled over by the police. They had frisked her and put her in the cuffs before putting her in the back of the squad car. After some arguing, they finally agreed to let him drive her truck home. He didn't know what was going on and...April Fools! I threatened to throw my phone at him.
Re: A Certain Wolfish Charm (3:03pm March 31, 2010):
You have written about two of the things I love:I love werewolves and I love HEAs. I have to read this book!
Re: The You I Never Knew (1:42pm March 14, 2010):
I truely HATE crying. But, I LOVE a book that can make me smile, chuckle, or laugh out loud.
Re: SEALed with a Ring (1:17pm March 5, 2010):
I really enjoyed your post. I have always let fear of looking stupid keep me from dancing, but I love to watch others dance.Ballroom dancing is beautiful to watch. Put a Navy Seal in that setting and I would start drooling! I can hardly wait to read the book!
Re: Truly, Madly (8:51pm March 3, 2010):
I met my late-husband on Jan. 6th. We were engaged Jan. 11th. We were married on Febuary 13th. He died two months shy of our 30th wedding anniversary. So, yes. I definately believe in love at first sight.
Re: The Betrayal Of The Blood Lily (1:53pm February 21, 2010):
When I need to get away or just be by myself, I go to my room. No one bothers me when the door is shut. Once there I pick up a book and I am mentally transported to another place.
Re: The Edge of Winter (1:45pm February 21, 2010):
Come The Spring by Julie Garwood is one of my favorites, but then anything written by Julie Garwood is just as good and is on my favorite list!
Re: Ordinary World (3:46pm February 15, 2010):
My late-husband had a twin brother and sister. For all the years I knew them, they seemed to hate each other. I have three sisters(no twins) and we are each others' best friends. I suppose that means, twins are like any other siblings. But, they are interesting!
Re: Promise Me Tonight (12:41pm February 13, 2010):
Just the title "Promise Me Tonight" makes me want to read it!
Re: The Dead Travel Fast (12:42pm February 11, 2010):
I have to admit, I never thought about how an author came up with a title. I suppose I just assumed the author always knew what it was. Now I know the book "tells" the author what it's name is. Wow. That's interesting.
Re: Fantasy in Death (7:20pm February 10, 2010):
I adore Eve Dallas! I have read almost all of the J.D. Robb series and am searching for the ones I have missed. I can'e wait to read this new one, Fantasy In Death.
Re: Catch Of A Lifetime (11:52pm February 2, 2010):
I love books that make me laugh out loud and your series sounds like it will be the type I love.
Re: Forbidden Heat (12:56pm January 28, 2010):
I enjoyed the article, Opal.
Re: The Beautiful Being (3:14pm December 17, 2009):
My hat's off to you and all the other published authors. Writing is a tough field. I'm glad you kept at it.
Re: Sex Drive (4:02am December 2, 2009):
I love series. It's really nice knowing some of the characters of each book and getting to know others. I read all the books of Suzanne Brockman, Sherylin Kenyon, Christine Feehan(I hope I spelled their names right!), and there are a few more. John Sanford's Prey series is one of my favorites.
Re: The Splendor Falls (12:57pm December 1, 2009):
I really like the sound of this book and I know my daughter will, too.
Re: Scorched (12:52pm December 1, 2009):
I LOVE series! The characters become old friends and I love to find out what is happening with them. I would love to win "Scorched", but whether I do or not, I will get it and "Ravenous", too...to read first!
Re: Dark Legacy (11:13pm November 18, 2009):
I love series and ones about the paranormal are the best of all.
Re: Over My Dead Body (7:24pm November 16, 2009):
For the Holidays, we used to gather at my sister's and everyone cooked something. The gatherings were always huge, with lots to eat and plenty of laughter. Now the family has grown way beyond even enormous, so we can't do that anymore. We have to be satisfied with having Thanksgiving dinner at home and that is fun, too.
Re: Wild Blue Under (10:48am November 10, 2009):
Wild Blue Under sounds so humorous, I have got to get it!
Re: The Princess Bride (7:14pm November 9, 2009):
I have loved The Princess Bride since I first read it in 1975(at the time,Mr. Goldman offered to send an alternate ending. I sent for it and it was really good. Over the years, I have lost the book and alternate ending). There are so many lines I adore. Like Inigo Montoya telling Vizzini,"You keep using that word(inconceivable). I do not think it means what you think it means."
Re: Kindred In Death (1:24am November 9, 2009):
I adore series...J.D. Robb, Suzanne Brockman, Mariah Stewart, the Dark Hunters, and the Carpathians..I love them all and I do not believe they will go stale.
Re: The Wrong Side of Dead (2:15pm November 5, 2009):
Did anyone really look at that picture? The ancient letch looked like he had the gold ring, but the CHILD looked about as happy as a kicked dog! And it looked like force had been used on her...her right eye is swollen. That is just wrong!
Re: One Lucky Cowboy (1:53pm November 5, 2009):
Great interview, Carolyn. I adore books where the author lets her sense of humor show and your's is really good.
Re: Haunted (3:11pm October 30, 2009):
I didn't realize I had missed so much! I haven't seen any of your favorite witches. My nose has been buried in books for too long! I will have to go on a learning crusade.
Re: Final Approach (3:07pm October 30, 2009):
I love candy, so I can't buy it for Halloween early...it would never make it to the 31st! So, I buy it that day, then much away, while giving it to the kids who come by. Of course, after Halloween, I have to go on a massive diet! Patsy
Re: What The Duke Desires (3:17pm October 29, 2009):
I have three sisters and they are my best friends. It has been that way all our lives.Any time one of us has a problem, without hesitation, we are there for them. It's a true joy when we can all be together with each others families, which doesn't happen as often as we would like. I suppose that is the reason I like books that deal with families. They remind me of my own.
Re: Kindred In Death (3:59pm October 28, 2009):
The only rule I have for the Holidays is, I buy for no one(in the extended family) over the age of eighteen. Of course, that does not include my son and his wife. I always buy books for me for my birthay and Christmas(they are only a week apart).I always pray that Christine Feehen, Iris Johansen, Sherilyn Kenyon and Julie Garwood have new books out.
Re: Mr. Darcy Vampyre (3:49pm October 28, 2009):
You book sounds as if it would be very interesyinh.
Re: Mr. Darcy Vampyre (3:11pm October 28, 2009):

This book sounds very up-lifting. I love books like that.
Re: Santa Honey (9:44pm October 23, 2009):
Sandra, I love your books. You have such a great sense of humor. I wish I was an author so I would know how to put the correct words together to let you know how bad I feel about what you wrote. I can't wait to read the next book you have out. mom1248(at)att(dot)net
Re: Possess Me At Midnight (4:08pm October 22, 2009):
I adore your books.
Re: My Wicked Vampire (1:15pm October 20, 2009):
I like humor in books. Maybe not on every page, but here and there in the story.
Re: Loot the Moon (2:12pm October 19, 2009):
I live with my son and his family. They continually tell me to just relax and let them take care of everything. Yes, that is really nice, but after a day or two, it leads to extreme bordom. THAT is what motivates me...bordom.
Re: Finger Lickin' Fifteen (1:31pm October 18, 2009):
I like a little more details than the bare essentials, but I don't want so many that I know how many dust-bunnies are under the bed. When the author goes on and on and on, I lose interest in the book. Guess that's why Julie Garwood is my favorite author...her amount of details are just right.
Re: The Trials Of The Honorable F. Darcy (1:09pm October 15, 2009):
I am almost afraid to admit I have never read Jane Austin's Pride and Prejudice...my sister reads all these posts and she is going to yell at me so loud!To make up for it, I promise to read "The Trial of The Honorable F. Darcy". I like how it sounds.
Re: A Marquis To Marry (4:38pm October 14, 2009):
This series sounds so good. I am hoping to get "A Duke To Die For" and "A Marquis To Marry" as soon as I can. It will be a long wait for April to get here(for "An Earl To Enchant" to come out.

My circle of authors is huge! The leaders are Julie Garwood,Sherrily Kenyon, Christine Feehan and Iris Johansen.
Re: The Promise (4:37pm October 11, 2009):
Read the older ones! Maybe not all at once, you can't ignore the newer books, either. Have fun, Patsy H.
Re: In Love with Losers (5:25pm October 9, 2009):
I have a love/hate thing going on with books and movies that move me to tears. I love them, they are so good! I hate to cry, so I hate them when they move me to tears. But, I wouldn't have passed up the opprotunity to read or see them.
Re: The Lute And The Liar (2:34pm October 7, 2009):
I would love to win one of your books.

Reading always comes first. I live with my son and his family, so my chores are few.
Re: Demon Ex Machina (11:55am October 5, 2009):
I have never been on a plane and I seriously doubt if I ever will be, but I have visited many many places though my reading. The best part of travelling in that manner is, I get to visit the past, the present and the future.
Re: Love You To Death (2:24pm October 3, 2009):
My sister gave me a copy of your book-she loved it and wanted to share it. Can't wait to read it.
Re: The Cowboy From Christmas Past (3:33pm September 8, 2009):
I loved hearing about your various dogs and the way they gained your husband's heart. Aren't dogs wonderful?
Re: Beloved Vampire (11:49pm August 16, 2009):
I love most vampire books and movies, except when the vamp is too whiny or prissy. Your vampires don't sound like they would be either, so I know I will love the.

Re: The Diva Takes The Cake (6:59pm August 2, 2009):
Your book sounds interesting. I like the idea of recipes included in your book.
Re: The Plight Of The Darcy Brothers (6:50pm August 2, 2009):
I haven't read Historical Romance in years, I don't know why I quit reading them, but yours sound good enough to draw me back.
Re: Mackenzie's Legacy (6:46pm August 2, 2009):
I adore Johanna Lindsey's Mallory books. I want that family to go on forever, but I DO NOT want to read about any of them dying...that would break my heart!
Re: Seeing Red (6:38pm August 2, 2009):
My late-husband was from a VERY small town in Washington state. It had only one stop light! I'm from a large city, so I found it fascinating to visit.
Re: Face Time (6:31pm August 2, 2009):
I was my mother's care-giver the last few years of her life, so we became very close. She died a few years ago and I still miss talking with her, just watching TV with her, quilting with her. I just miss her.
Re: Seduce Me (6:12pm August 2, 2009):
Congrats on your release. I think sex scenes must be one of the hardest parts of a book to write...when to put it in, how much detail, how many times to write about it...it must be hard.
Re: Red, White & Dead (6:07pm August 2, 2009):
I love trilogys! But, I have to read them in order. Can't wait to read yours.
Re: It Happened One Night (6:04pm August 2, 2009):
The heat here in California has really caught my attention. Was it this hot last year? Your book sounds really good...that, also, caught my attention.
Re: Hot Pursuit (5:41pm August 2, 2009):
I rarely go to the library. I like to buy my books so I can reread them if I really enjoyed them.
Re: Dragons Prefer Blondes (12:21pm July 12, 2009):
Adam West played Batman a Looooong time ago and after seeing him on Family Guy, he is definately out. Superman wa just too clean-cut, so he's out, too. Wolverine...now that's a super-hero.

Very good advice,Kimberla. I wish more people thought like you.

What a great interview. I can't wait to read this book.

Re: Wild Heart (12:38pm July 4, 2009):
Congrads on being published! That must be a wonderful feeling.
Re: Happiness Key (12:33pm July 4, 2009):
I think the author comes up with the title of the novel while writing it. How hard it would be to write a full novel around a title!
Re: The Cowboy From Christmas Past (5:21pm July 3, 2009):
The story sounds good.
Re: The Texas Twins (9:55pm July 2, 2009):
Your contest sounds interesting.
Re: From Friend To Father (2:14pm June 16, 2009):
I have read romance books for more years than I care to admit. I love getting caught up in the story and getting to know the charactures so well, they feel like friends. So okay, I admit it...I escape my problems for a while by reading about how the characters meet, fall in love, the problems they have, etc. I love the happy endings.
Re: Beneath Bone Lake (2:02pm May 30, 2009):
I am terrified of bees. I have never been stung by one, but I still go nuts whenever one is around me. Spiders...I have a healthy respect for. I won't kill them if they stay away from me.
Re: A Thread Of Truth (1:57pm May 30, 2009):
My son is a true spoiled brat, he knows I would do anything for him, and my grandson tells me he is THE Brat!
Re: Dragons Prefer Blondes (2:46pm May 26, 2009):

Re: The Warrior (2:42pm May 26, 2009):
Oh yes, I am VERY impulsive...at times I wish I wasn't! My last impulse-buy wa a karge print of a cougar that cost three-quarters of what I had budgeted for groceries! Talk about stupid. Love your books.
Re: My Forbidden Desire (2:34pm May 26, 2009):
You have given us a lot to think about. When the female werewolf gave birth would the baby be in wolf form or human? If it was in human form, would mama know that was her child(pup?) and would she know how to care for it? That is something to think about.
Re: The Accidental Lawman (1:45pm May 24, 2009):
