Romance Historical
The daughter of a wealthy bandit, Sophia Dawson once lost
herself in the arms of Black Hawk, the most infamous
pirate ever to command the high seas. But now, determined
to put her sinful past behind her, she prepares to enter
society as the bride of a well-born nobleman who knows
nothing of her scandalous youth. All goes according to
plan until her ex-lover—now a respectable sea captain but
just as handsome and dangerous as ever—appears and once
more tempts her with desire. From the moment he sees Sophia again, James Hawkins wants
only one thing: revenge. He'll see to it that the reckless
beauty pays for abandoning their heated affair. And so
begins a battle of wills that can only end in utter
ruin . . . or wicked surrender . . .

Re: The Infamous Rogue
I love the reunion romances, it's great too see the people back together. Your book sounds great! Penney 5-14-09 (Penney Wilfort 11:58am May 14, 2009)
Reunion romances sound like a good idea. To reacquaint main characters who've been through a lot with and without each other is a nice wish equivalent to a dream state. Sign me up, because wouldn't it be amazing to have a wish come true to life. (Alyson Widen 12:18pm May 14, 2009)
It depends on the circumstance; I've loved both kinds of stories under the right circumstances! (Kelli Jo Calvert 12:25pm May 14, 2009)
I enjoy reunion romances - two of my high school classmates met at one of our reunions. Both of their mates had died and they ended up marrying each other. (Karin Tillotson 1:11pm May 14, 2009)
I think that it's really cool to see your old flames and maybe pick up where you left off (if you're both free that is). Sometimes it better the second time around. (JoAnn White 1:55pm May 14, 2009)
I love reunion romances - not only do you get a chance for a do over but there is history that can be built upon. (Joy Harris 3:01pm May 14, 2009)
I love reunion romances. I bet there are a lot of folks out there who if able to, would love a chance to reunite with that one great love. A reunion romance gives the next best thing, a chance to read a great story and put ourselves in the heroine's shoes! (Kay Martinez 7:55pm May 14, 2009)
The reunion is a good plot line. The ability to revisit the past and try to correct mistakes or do what should have been done gives a story so many possibilities. (Patricia Barraclough 11:14pm May 14, 2009)
I like both! (LuAnn Morgan 11:17pm May 14, 2009)
Greetings Readers! Thanks for posting your thoughts and personal stories. It's been fun for me, penning a reunion romance. I enjoyed it so much, I went back and created a novella that features the couple's first love affair! Readers can now delve deep into the h/h's past. If you'd like to learn more about the book/novella and my new series, visit: www.TheHawkinsBrothers.ca. Cheers! (Alexandra Benedict 1:41pm May 15, 2009)
Thanks, I'd love to read the "prequel"! (Mari M. 4:44pm May 15, 2009)
I so love a reunion story! I love how they get to mend and grow and heal and all that! I'm excited about This one!!
Cool will check out LuAnn (Cathie Morton 9:41pm May 18, 2009)
I have never read a reunion romance, but I love the idea. Everyone deserves a second chance. (Patsy Hagen 1:42pm May 19, 2009)
