His older brother is the same way. I once asked Artie if

When I first moved in with my husband, he had Candy, a
black Lab. Having not grown up with dogs, I was afraid
of her at first. But she was older & sweet, & we quickly
got used to each other. A few months later, she had to
be put to sleep, & even though he told me that I didn't
have to be, I was there for both of them. We each held
one of her paws, & I told her that she could go, that I
would be taking care of him from now on. I hope that
gave her peace in her final few minutes on this earth.
Since then, I love reading stories with dogs in them.

Sounds like a fantastic book! I've been writing poetry
since I was in middle school. I also really enjoy writing
letters, which, I think is a lost art. It relax me like
nothing else does, & people have told me that they've never
received such beautiful ones!

your book! I wish I had 10 surprises in life. Finding
love again after my divorce would be one of them, if I
were to start a list. My husband, Rich, is a truly
wonderful man & I'm very blessed that he's in my life.
Another one would be my nephew & Godson, PJ, with whom I
share a very special bond, & love like no one else!

reading, or a visit to the beach, yet. Everything that I've
read by Lori Wilde so far has been great, though, I'd add her
books to your list. What a beautiful cover for your book!

I love hearing a song & remembering what I was doing the
first time I heard it! One of my favorite memories is of
being in the car with my uncle, who is just 13 years older
than me, & hearing Carole King's "You've Got A Friend".
He's always been more of a big brother to me, & I know I can
always count on him!

My husband, Rich, is always doing sweet things for me! He
usually starts cooking dinner, and sometimes even cooks the
whole meal! He indulges me when I feel like talking
incessantly about my other guy, my Godson, PJ. He will go
without something that he wants so I can have something that
I want, even if it's a book or a candle (2 of my favorite
things!)
