I caught mine with a white cake with peanut butter & cinnamon frosting. Once in a while I switch to chocolate cake with the same frosting for him.

In the fall we like to make a mixed berry cake which is
stawberries, blueberries and raspberries and then serve it
warm with vanilla bean ice cream. I also put a dash of
whipped cream on mine. Your sounds so good always cooking
for a new pie or cake recipe.I am severely disabled so my
husband makes them and I sit and give my opinions on how
much etc. or hold the recipe.

I'm guessing something with strawberries would be a good choice.

My favorite cake recipe is cherry chip cake with home
made buttercream frosting!! I love to add some finely
chopped walnuts or pecans to the recipe, to give it that
final oomph!! The frosting recipe was handed down to me
from my late Mother, who got it from a Girlfriend of
hers, and I always loved it. It's actually the only
frosting I love to put on my cakes, even though it's a
bit labor intensive!! That is the only cake I can think
of off the top of my head!! Thank you for the recipe
that you took the time to print in your column. I wish I
didn't have the health issues that I do now, which
prevent me from making a cake such as that. It sounds so
good!! I might try tackling it with my Husband, however,
on a snowy day up here this Winter!!
