love the cover it's gorgeous and the book looks awesome. i look forward to reading it.
Re: Flight of the White Wolf (8:16pm April 1, 2018):
not afraid to fly but i have PTSD and a severe anxiety disorder called Agoraphobia that causes me to have problems around crowds and strangers. so even though the airplane flight doesn't bother me being inside cooped up with a couple of hundred strangers makes it impossible for me to travel that way.
Re: Crazy Little Thing Called Love (7:39pm November 27, 2015):
Aunt Tammy's Cinnamon Caramel Popcorn
10-12 cups popped popcorn(i pop mine in a big pan on the stove but a lot of the family prefer theirs air popped. both work.) 1-dram or 1 teasp. LorAnn’s super strength Cinnamon flavor candy oils(Don’t let the tiny bottles fool you! LorAnn’s super strength candy oils, are 3x to 4x stronger than typical alcohol-based extracts.) 1 cup packed light brown sugar 1/4 cup light corn syrup 1/2 cup unsalted butter 1/8 teasp. cream of tartar2 1/2 teasp. salt 1/2 teasp. baking soda
Directions: Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C). Spread the popcorn out onto 2 large baking sheets. Set aside. Combine the sugar, corn syrup, butter, cream of tartar, and salt in a medium saucepan over a medium-high heat. Stir constantly and bring to a boil for about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and quickly stir in the baking soda. Pour the caramel over the popcorn and stir gently until all the kernels are coated. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool on the pan and break apart large clusters if desired. Cover the popcorn tightly once cooled. Additional Notes: 1)If you do not have a popcorn maker at home, you can simply add 1-2 tablespoons of oil in the bottom of a large kettle/pan. heat oil and then cover bottom of pan in single layer of kernels. cover and listen for corn to start popping. once it starts, gently shake the pan to avoid burning until corn stops popping.(happens fast so don't leave unattended). remove from heat and continue as above. 2)Cream of tartar will prevent crystallization as the caramel cooks. If you're all out, you can make the caramel corn without it. Just know that its acidity helps to prevent crystals from forming in your caramel. Corn syrup does the same job too. 3)Make ahead tip: This caramel corn stays fresh for up to 2 weeks in an airtight container, so it's a great make ahead time saver.
Re: Taming His Rebel Lady (4:57am September 19, 2015):
I have to agree with Tina Ullrich, talking to him is the first step. If you can bring yourself to be bold enough ask him outright if he is. If not then try getting some hints with a few pointed or even roundabout questions in order to get the answers you are looking for. After that you can do things like wear something alluring just for him at night, but do it a after you let him walk in on you taking a bath that has just the right amount of bubbles to cover what he most wants to see. Also. The old saying that the way to a man heart is through his stomach is completely true if he loves good food. But when you Ser e it make yourself the table. LOL! Once he has licked chocolate off your thighs I doubt. He will be able to resist you. 💏. [email protected]
Re: A Rancher of Her Own (2:02pm July 30, 2015):
i love the escape and the happily ever after. i also like that depending on the genre~ category of romance you read there are no rules to how the story or series can go so there is almost always a surprise or what i call the "OMG i did not see that coming!" moment. LOL!

Re: Lone Rider (1:59pm July 30, 2015):
there a couple of them that do that to me. peanut butter cookies, snickerdoodles and no-bake cookies. no i'm hungry so i think i will go make so cookies. LOL! tammy ramey [email protected]
Re: Calamity Jayne and the Sisterhood of the Traveling Lawn Gnome (1:57pm July 30, 2015):
i am passionate about lots of things. a few are that i collect gemstones, both loose and in antique jewelry. i am also an unpublished writer. i am still in the stage of learning my writing craft but hope to be published someday. :)

Re: A Leopard's Path (7:29pm May 16, 2015):
Hi Lia, i love reading romance not just for the hot hero and hour or 2 of escapism, but because it reminds me that there is romance in the world. As a divorced/single woman in my early 40's it can be hard to see that sometimes. Now i need to clarify that i do know the difference between the real world and the books. LOL! What i meant was if there are so many wonderful authors out there writing about love, and they have loving stable relationships themselves, then i gives the rest of us some hope because you tend to write what you know/and that would be love. :) it shows through in your work. tammy ramey [email protected]
Re: Shadow Fires (7:19pm May 16, 2015):
Hi Catherine, I hate to admit that i have not read your books before. However i can say they all just went on my TBBN list. :)
In the rom.-suspense category: I love Catherine Coulter's FBI series(Sherlock and Savich are awesome) and of course Iris Johanson's Eve Duncan series is amazing. Paranormal erotic rom.:Anything by Milly Taiden but especially her Julia Mills Dragon Guards series and also Becca Van's western "Slick Rock series". this is just a few of the series i love. i love a good series but i'm not a big fan of the new way of doing books in chapters/serialization. it's frustrating and can end up costing you more money too.
Re: Duchess By Mistake (1:58am April 25, 2015):
i like them as they generally end as head over heels in love stories. :)

i have 3 places i have always wanted to visit. 1) Scottish Highlands, 2)Transylvania,now a part of Romania. and 3) there is a train that you can take from Vladvostock in Siberia to Moscow. i have always wanted to take it and then switch trains and drop down from Moscow through Mongolia on the way to China. "Squee" i get excited just think about it, i usually plan it out at least twice a year LOL!

Re: The Woman of La Mancha (11:37pm April 3, 2015):
i am an unpublished/work in progress author, and like you i use spreadsheets but what i decided to do was to line the walls in my "work" area with butcher paper. there is a long piece for each character and they are all lined in a circle around the main plot point and where they relate to it. i have everything about the character on their sheet and can add to it. this way i can look up at the wall while i work and find what i need and go right back to writing. :)

Re: The Millionaire's Unexpected Proposal (11:30pm April 3, 2015):
like most people i have open my mouth when i should have kept it shut, pronouncing some of the world dumbest "come back to haunt" me moments know to man. LOL! for instance the time i thought that my mom was trying to set up my sister with this guy. i told her he was way to old and not good enough for her anyway. of course Mom said she had planned to introduce him to me and that i should turn around because he was standing right behind me. "SO EMBARRASSING!" this is the typical thing that happens to me. i call it foot and mouth disease(open mouth and insert foot). LOL! thank you for the contest.

Re: A Lady's Revenge (1:27am April 26, 2012):
i think it depends on the cause and the situation. if it is for the sake of something trivial then i don't care for it but if it is for something like family, love, protect a loved one etc. then i cheer for her and hope the hero isn't so stubborn that he doesn't get it together until almost the end of the book.

Re: Enraptured (1:22am April 26, 2012):
Hi Elisabeth, thank you for the chance at such a great giveaway. i love the cover, it's gorgeous and the book sounds wonderful. i can hardly wait to read it and see what happens between these two. :D i think one of the scariest "villians" i ever saw was in Jack Nicholson in The Shining. to this day i can't watch a movie of his without seeing him in that role in my head(that and one flew over the cookoo's nest). i guess that's is what makes him the superb actor he is, he really makes you feel he is the crazy guy he is playing. LOL!

Re: Sanctuary Cove (4:55am March 28, 2012):
i rarely watch t.v. any more. i do watch 1 or 2 shows, dancing with the stars and then i watch reruns of Reba or the Nanny but not any of the new things on t.v. because they (IMO) are all trash. there are very few programs geared towards anyone that has a brain and a sense of taste/decorum. my family feels the same way. we usually end up renting or watching old movies that are entertaining, or sports.

i like pets in stories if it is interesting and has personality. i have not tossed a mouse but i had a cat once that when i opened the door for him he dropped a live mouse at my feet and then just sat there as if i should thank him, while i tried to climb the wall, my boyfriend and the door. LOL!

Re: Darn Good Cowboy Christmas (10:07pm November 4, 2011):
Hi Carolyn, first i want to say how much i love this series. i have the first 2 books and i have read them alot. each time i find something new that i like about them. for my christmas wish i would wish for my family to have some financial relief and for my health to improve. see in 2007 i injured my back and my family is supporting me and so it is a bit of a finacial strain at times while we wait for the lawsuit to get settled. but it should be anytime now so that is another thing i would wish for.
most of all i would wish for all of my family to be happy and health and to get the thing that they need and want in life.

a good example would be the movie The Unsinkable Molly Brown. she went from a ordinary,"backwoods" counrty girl, to a high society lady that survived the Titanic. (her character was played by Kathy Bates in the movie Titanic).

Re: Serendipity (10:06pm September 1, 2011):
i think i have to say a gamma, followed by the beta. i do like an alpha in the right book but i don't like a heroine that let's someone walk all over her and some of the alpha's have that tendency.

Re: Red's Hot Cowboy (12:38pm August 24, 2011):
i grew up in Wyoming and Montana and started my reading career with Louis L'Amour so cowboys have always been a huge part of my life. when i discovered that i could also have them in romance that sealed the deal for me.
i just finished reading the first book in this series for the 2nd time(it was that good) and i can't wait to read this one. the cover is beautiful and i can't wait to get to know these 2 and the hotel as well as i did the watermelon farm.

the cover is beautiful and the story sounds great. i can't wait to read it.
Re: Night Walker (11:02am July 18, 2011):
i think i would be okay with it as then i would be able to watch over my family and all of their decendants and make sure that they were taken care of. as the blurb says he collects mass amounts of wealth, with eternity you would be able to do that and make sure you used it to provide not only for your family but for those that are in need.
on the flip side of that what if all of your family died and you were left alone? then the whole purpose of why i chose to do it would not be there any more and i don't think i would do it for any other reason.
Re: Runestone (10:14am July 9, 2011):
i am a shoulders girl. when i was first dating my husband the thing the brought him to my notice was his shoulders. he was 6'4", and his shoulders measure 54" across. He was a farm/cowboy and use to a hard day of work. we are not together anymore but i can honestly say that after 10 years i still have never found a set of shoulder that were as broad or made a woman feel more like a woman. After the shoulders i go for the eyes and a sense of humor.
Re: Loved By A Warrior (2:51pm July 6, 2011):
i think the curse i have heard the most about is the "evil eye".according to folklore it is suppose to be something that is cast on you by an evil witch. your books sound wonderful and i can't wait to read them.
Re: Break Out (6:05pm July 4, 2011):
i think it is a good thing and is giving us some wonderful new stories to read that don't seem to "fit". i am so glad that some of the authors are crossing these lines so that maybe the next generation of authors won't have such a hard time with it.
Re: Fallen (1:28am June 29, 2011):

Re: City Of Promise (12:08pm June 23, 2011):
i am going to be reading "Quinn" by Iris Johanson. it is book 2 in a trilogy that is related to her Eve Duncan series,it comes out next month and i can hardly wait. after that i will probably read something from Garwood,St. Claire and then the 1st three books in Carolyn Jewel's Immortal series.
Re: A Ghost of a Chance (2:50pm June 22, 2011):
i am not sure i would call i t psychic powers but i have always been able to know when something bad was going to happen. i don't mean something like global problems but for instance when i was growing up i would be setting in school just fine when i would start to have a horrid sense of anxiety and then by the time i got home that day one of my brothers or sisters would have gotten sick or injured or one of us would be in trouble with my parents. this has continued into adulthood. not all the time but sometimes i get that feeling and i know that something has happened in the family and then someone will call and tell us what it is.

i think it means that the couple comes to understand that this is the person that means more to them than anyone else and that they will not be happy without each other. this does not mean they will run out and get married right away but that they will love each other no matter what obsticles are in the way.

Re: Blood Of The Wicked (2:43pm June 13, 2011):

Re: Money Shot (3:11pm June 10, 2011):

Re: The Gin & Chowder Club (12:19pm May 31, 2011):

what a wonderful excerpt. i can't wait to read the whole book. the characters sound amazing and so touching.
Re: It Happened On Maple Street (10:18am May 19, 2011):
i want to say thank you for doing something to help all of the families that this is happening to. even if the children in the family are never physically harmed it can do lasting damage to them to grow up in this kind of enviroment and the mothers of the children are just as helpless to change it as the children are. so again thank you from the bottom of my heart. i will be honored to help spread the word about this book and hopefully someday we will no longer here the words victim of domestic violence.
Re: Awaken The Highland Warrior (3:53pm May 18, 2011):
i think that there is at least a small amount of the author in each character because it is from the authors imagination afterall. however that does not mean that the author is like that character or is that character just that they may have an personality trait that the author took from themselves used or magnified and built upon to rech the desired effect for that character. for example the hero may be brave and trustworthy beyond the normal. but without the author having those traits it would be hard for them to write them. in other words all people ,authors included, have good and bad traits. this could be love, hate, jealousy, trust, honor, courage, pain or any other emotion and this helps when you are and author.
Re: Ashes Of The Earth (10:44am May 17, 2011):
i think that in a post-apocalyptic world there most likely would not be anyone that survived. if the first blast did not kill them then the nuclear winter and contaminated food and water would. i think that within a very short time of the attacks all people would be gone. i know that sounds very pessimistic but as we tend to group together in cities and towns that make easy targets it is a reasonable conclusion.
Re: Wickedly Charming (11:21am May 16, 2011):
i love the premise of the book and i can't wait to read it. i always wondered what happened after Prince Charming and Cinderella got married and if they really did live HEA. now i can find out. thanks!
Re: Grimoire (1:37am May 15, 2011):
i love the secondary characters and am often disappointed when there is not a book about that characters story.
Re: The Hat (12:46pm May 9, 2011):
my mother i am glad to say is and always has been my best friend. and there have been times when i have wondered why she would want to be my friend as i am not an easy person to love. my mother was adopted when she was 2 and although the people that adopted her loved her in their own way they were not the most affectionate of people or maybe they just didn't know how to show it. when she was 18 she became an unwed mother in a small town,in a time when she would still have been an outcast because of it.she never thought about giving him up. a year later she met and married my father and then had 6 more children with a man who was never faithful in all of the time they were married. it was after the death of her youngest son and the birth of the youngest daughter a year later that she finally divorced him and took all of us and moved out on her own. of course he never did pay the $60.00 a month in child support he was ordered to pay. when my dad remarried he asked my mom if we could all come for a visit and when we were there he went to the judge and told him that she had abandon us and didn't know where she was. when she came to get us she was met by a policeman(my dad was a cop) and told she could leave or go to jail, she spent the next 5 years trying to get us back. of course 1 by 1 we got older and did leave dad and move back to mom's but by then most of us had some pretty big problems. didn't matter she stuck it out and got us all the help we needed and loved us right thru the pain and hardness of it all. i personally do not know anyone in the world that deserves more love or respect than my mom but then i'm biased! Mom lives with me today and will until she either wants to leave or dies.she will never have to worry as some older people do about what will happen to her when she is to old to do for herself. she took care of us and so we will take care of her which is as it should be.
Re: Deadly Promises (9:40pm May 6, 2011):
i am a child of a military family. my grandfather was military,my aunts and uncles were military,my father was navy and so were my young brothers and sister. my older brother was army and another sister married the air force. i myself was never physically well enough to enter the military but i am just as proud and patriotic as the rest of my family. a few years ago i moved to a college to for work reasons, i moved froma very conservative place where it wasn't unusal to see flags flying from houses or on the back of truck windows and for bumper stickers to say "God Bless The U.S.A and Our Troops". i now live in a place where i have actually heard someone suggest that we disband all military and get rid of them as we are just using them to bully people for their property. i heard this from some of the college kids as i was cleaning the dorm room next to them. i just have to say i hope they grow up and relize that the real world is not unicorns and sunbeams but a hard and dangerous place and that without those troops out there protecting us we are comptely defensless to someone else just like Osama Bin Laden. I was very glad to hear that they finaly got him so that he can't hurt anymore innocent people.
Re: A Family Affair (12:31pm May 6, 2011):
well all i can really say is family is family and nothing is more important than family. not money, not power, not prestige not anything because all of the trappings of the world may fall away but you always have family. I loved the excerpt and can't wait to read the book!
Re: Love Drunk Cowboy (2:39pm May 4, 2011):

Re: The Legend Of Michael (10:05am May 2, 2011):
can't wait to read this book it sounds wonderful. i love the characters already.
Re: Bastian (2:01pm May 1, 2011):
i have had relationships that started both ways. i much prefer to start as friends. if you can't be friends with your lover then you really have no chance in the long run.
Re: Total Abandon (4:34pm April 30, 2011):
i think it is great. the more choices you have the more likely you are to find the books that you want and the more likely you are to broaden your reading horizons.
Re: Heart of Deception (9:35am April 29, 2011):
i love hats! i have an entire collection myself. my favorite are my tea hats. these are reserved for when i have a high tea and invited all of my nieces and sister over. they must dress for the occasion and then they get to choose which hat they want. these are hats that look like they came from the victorian age, they are covered in pastel pink and green satins with roses/feathers and netting galore. my nieces swoon every time they get an invitation in the mail because they know it's tea hat time!
Re: My Favorite Countess (12:36pm April 28, 2011):
i have always like doctor's in t.v. or books. i use to love to watch MM.A.S.H. but now my favorite is not really a doctor but a medical examiner. i love the show NCIS and my favorite character's are 1st) Ducky and 2nd)Abby. i love the way he is always so gallent and the way he rambles on and on. it's hilarious.
Re: Never A Gentleman (3:19pm April 26, 2011):
i have not read this book yet but i have to say that from reading your blog that your heroine feels like ever women i know. not all weomen in this day and age are confident,go-getters. most of us are not super models are can be described as plain if we are standing next to one and even if we are not if you asked us we would probably say we needed to change something about ourselves. i also think that most men could identify with a hero that wants to do the right thing and may just not know how to do it especially when it involves the heart. i for one can not wait to run to the store and get my hands on a copy of this book! thank you for writing about a heroine that an everyday woemen can idenify with.
Re: The Alchemy of Desire (12:51pm April 25, 2011):
i have to say that i really don't have a preference. i depends on the story and the author. some authors are better at writing alpha male characters and some are better at writing the boy next door type of character. i try to stick with the authors that i know and then i check out the blogs and other sites like this to try and find information on other authors that might be good too.
Re: The Devil in Disguise (12:20pm April 23, 2011):
what i like most is the excerpts on books that are either new or coming soon. it lets me get a sneak peek and makes me want to run right out and grab the book and start reding. i also like to read about the author and contests are always fun.
Re: Hidden Embers (12:36pm April 22, 2011):
i love spring. i love the way the earth is being reborn after the long winter, all the trees and flowers coming back to life. all of the people seem to be coming back to life too. they are happier and friendly. the air is fresh and brisk. and i don't think anything smells as good as the earth after it rains. i really miss these things during the long winters.
