When danger claims her, rescue comes from the one man she least expects. A cowgirl at heart, Bo Hamilton
does her best thinking in wide-open spaces. So when money goes missing from the family foundation she
runs-meaning one of her trusted ragtag employees is a thief-Bo rides into the Crazy Mountains to figure
things out. But a killer hiding among the sawtooth ridges takes her captive
and isn't planning on ever
letting her go.
Bo's disappearance gets folks thinking she's the guilty one who's run off with the money, but Jace Calder
would bet his ranch that she's innocent. Not that he has any reason to trust the beautiful, spoiled
senator's daughter. But she also gave his troubled sister a job when no one else would. For his sibling's
sake, Jace is going after Bo and bringing her home to face the truth. But up in the mountains, he finds
Bo at the mercy of a suspected murderer. As her only hope, Jace is about to find out what they're both

These will probably sound gross to you, but my Mom made these cookies only for the Holidays. They were a special prune-filled cookie, that looked like a small crescent roll. There's a lot of work involved to making them, since they take 2 days to make. To this day, I make them every Christmas, since everyone who's had them, can't wait for me to make them!! I usually make a big batch, then pass them out to friends and family, since my Sisters haven't followed any of my Mom's traditions. I'll have to try your recipe now, since cornstarch is an interesting ingredient that I don't recall putting in a cookie recipe before. They sound quick, and I'm sure they're good!!

the cookie my Mom made me was a Sweetheart (aka Thumbprint)
cookie - it kinda tastes like shortbread & the recipe calls
for a dollop of current jelly in the thumbprint, but Mom use
raspberry preserves cause that was my favorite.

My mom wasn't much for baking, but every Christmas my aunt would send us these amazing hazelnut spritz cookies from Germany. Some were plain and others had the ends dipped in chocolate. Still can't decide which I like best!

Peanut Butter or Oatmeal Raisin! When I was little every Sunday afternoon we went to my aunts house. She would sit us kids at one table and the adults at another and we would have Tea and a cookie.Mostly Peanut Butter but once and awhile she would have Oatmeal & Raisin, they would taste so good! I love to bake over cooking and I use to make some mean cookies at the holidays, memories!

My mother made oatmeal and peanut butter cookies mostly . My favorite now is the p-nut butter . They melt in your mouth. Your recipe sounds so simple and I will be trying it out soon . I have never made cookies with cornstarch in them so this is a must try . Thanks for the recipe and the giveaway.
