Here we are on the cusp of another new year. It is for some, a time of reflection and for others a time for looking ahead, at a new year of potential and possibilities!

In FALLEN ANGEL, the second book in my time-travel romance series based on the Tales of the Sweet Magnolia, I write about two souls, who in search for connection receive the gift of a second chance. A second chance at redemption, at forgiveness, at finding love, even if that means having to travel through time to find their deepest desires.

It reminds me that each morning is a clean slate; each New Year stands at the ready to offer great opportunities. That everything that has happened to us shapes us in some way—to strengthen, to give us wisdom, to instill us with gratitude for all that we do have. And to make you realize that there is power in love. There is power in hope.

I have learned this year to be more grateful. To realize that all that has happened has brought me to where I am supposed to be and I look ahead to a new year of what can be.

What are you grateful for as you look back on 2012?

One winner chosen at random will receive the first two books in my time-travel romance series-Tales of the Sweet Magnolia.

Have a wonderful New Year filled with much potential and possibility!

Until next time~

I'm grateful for friends who have proven themselves to be more family to me than my real family, in so many ways.

I'm grateful for authors who write books that I love to read, for chances to win said books, and for a loving grandmother who had the great idea to teach me how to read before I turned 4. I've been reading ever since, for over a half a century!

Later,

I'm grateful to have a roof over my head, and a Husband to share my life with, and be there for me, while I'm going through health difficulties. I'm grateful that I had the strength to finally face up to issues in my life, and see them for what they were, not for what I hoped they would be. This enabled me to be stronger mentally as a person, and clear personal clutter out of my life. I'm grateful that we were able to have 2 adorable kittens added to our family, and they have been the loves of our life!! We've had them since birth, and they look to us almost as parents. At 8 months, it's been an amazing journey, watching them grow up, and they bring us a lot of joy, laughter, and love. What I'm most grateful for is that this year is almost over, and I feel that the coming year is going to be a really good one for me. Have a Happy and Healthy New Year!!

who is so good to me, and my kitties who make life
interesting. :)
(Rie Sheridan Rose 7:35pm December 29, 2012)

I have learned to be grateful in whatever situation I find myself. I immerse myself in the times of joy and drink it in as a man in the desert who finds an oasis; in times of trouble, I remind myself "This, too, shall pass." Life is too short to worry about those things you cannot change.
Thank you for this chance to win a book from a 'new to me' author.
(Gail Goodenough 7:47pm December 29, 2012)

know what to do without any of them.

everything good:)

(Martha Lawson 10:28pm December 29, 2012)

As I look back on 2012 I am thankful for many things in my life. My family is healthy and blessed. All of my needs are met on a daily basis and I want for nothing. Time is going by so quickly but I am thankful for the chance to create memories with loved ones and friends. There are so many blessings that we have received this past year that it would be remiss of me not to give God thanks for them all. I thank Him for these things and more.
