Sharon Ashwood | CELEBRATE WITH A SCORCHING GOOD TIME
December 1, 2009
December 1 is the launch of Scorched, the second
instalment of my Dark Forgotten series. Without giving away too many
details, the action picks up about a year after Ravenous ends. It’s a
stand-alone story, but most of the characters from book one return. Those
interested in the fate of Fairview’s police detective, Conall"Mac" Macmillan,
will have all their questions answered.
Mac is a delightful character to work with: smart, gorgeous, down-to-earth,
sense of humor, and basically an all-around good guy. Nevertheless, the
agreement between the International Union of Fictional Characters (Paranormal
Romance Division) and the Fellowship of Twisted Authors, Inc. gave me a free
hand to make his life metaphorical and literal hell. That’s part of the deal
that brings you, the readers, the best possible stories. The fellowship stands
behind their Tortured Hero Guarantee.
However, the Union has issued two health advisories: Anger Management Tips for
Demons and Test Your Demon
Potential. It’s strongly advised that those prone to reading demon-centric
stories read these warnings over carefully-ust in case. Those in need of karma
credits can send a free greeting
card and save a furry life.
And thank you to all those kind well-wishers who have enquired after my hero’s
health. All of my characters-well, the good guys, anyway-are recovering nicely.
In celebration of my book launch, I’ll give away a copy of Scorched to a commenter!

I LOVE series! The characters become old friends and I love to find out what is happening with them. I would love to win "Scorched", but whether I do or not, I will get it and "Ravenous", too...to read first!

I know that this isn't something most people like to admit to but book covers draw me in. I am not saying that the cover is the only thing that will get me to read a book but a good cover just makes me want to see what it's about. That said, you have some amazing book covers and even better plots. Best of luck with all of your future books.
