Re: Unforeseeable (2:57am September 5, 2013):
Oooaahh! This book sounds so fascinating! I love the suspense you have added to the Amish/Mennonite setting. We see their world as a perfect, peaceful place. Now you give us, adventure, mystery, romance along with suspense all wrapped up in a unique setting! I love it! Please pick me!
Re: The Blood Gospel (2:37am September 5, 2013):
Oh wow! I would love to win this book! It is so fascinating! To co-write with James Rollin must have been an exciting adventure! I have many thoughts on the birth of vampires. Sometimes I think of the legend of Dracula, other times I'm just not sure. I saw somewhere on the news where they found skeletons dating back long ago with skulls that had fangs. I wonder if that is where the legends began. ???? Anyway I have been obsessed with vampires since I was a child. Why?? I like to think that my mother's love for them was passed down lovingly to me! When I was a small child together she and I would cuddle on the couch to watch all of the old vampire movies. As funny as it might sound, what wonderful memories I can say I have with her. .
Re: The Highlander's Desire (1:53am September 5, 2013):
I love stories sbout the Scottish Highlands. They seem to touch a place deep in my soul. It's hard for me to list a few fairytales I love because there are so many but Beauty and the Beast would be one. I love Tangled and Brave, even though she hasn't yet met the man of her dreams , though the relationship between her parents is quite cute. Merida's father is a hilarious version of a strong highlander! Lol! I do love that movie!
Re: Love Him or Leave Him (1:16am September 5, 2013):
I love your reasons; they all are great! For me, reading is an outlet to escape to when all of my world has been turned upside down and I need somewhere to go to to clear my mind: a place where life is less complicated and there is hope, happiness and love.
Re: Never Say No to a Caffarelli (11:38pm September 4, 2013):

Re: Once Upon A Tartan (11:35am August 16, 2013):
Thank you for being here. I used to write stories for my children when they were young and I have alot of ideas for books but I need a boast of confidence to help me put my thoughts down on paper. I just need a little push to make it all happen. It will, when I don't know but it will! : )
Re: Seven Days Normal (12:03pm January 8, 2013):
Great advice! I think all of us can remember our first masterpiece we wrote at an early age. Of course, some were much better than others. I'm so happy your first story has lead you to here. Thank you!
Re: The Missing Manuscript Of Jane Austen (11:52am January 8, 2013):

I have a Blackberry, but will soon own an Iphone as soon I get my phone upgrade next month. I own a laptop and two desktops. I want an eReader as soon as I discover which one is the best for me. Anyone have any ideas?
Re: The Keepers Of Sulbreth (1:53am January 16, 2010):
Oh my,YES! I have picked up so many books just by the title alone! I pick them up just by my favorite authors too. Most of the time I have like the book, some times I don't. I try to learn by my mistakes and read a bit of the book before I buy but olde habits are hard to break. I found a character in one book I truly loved, I wish I could have named one of my daughters after her but I couldn't. She became my alter-ego; my muse! I truly love her!

I love both versions of "Your, Mine and Ours." They are both great stories!
Re: Sizzle (10:33pm January 8, 2010):
I think all characters work off each other. Like theater, you have the protagonist and antagonist. Without each other, there is no plot, no climax and no happy ending. There are so many possibilities for the outcome, the writer is the one to choose. :-)
Re: Deadtown (8:44pm January 6, 2010):
Well in some worlds, vampires don't drink blood from people but drink synthetic blood. They don't sleep in coffins, they sleep in freezers. Some glisten in the sun.
Re: Come Hell Or High Water (8:37pm January 6, 2010):

Re: The Gift (9:30pm December 8, 2009):
Your story is very touching. I was blessed with twins girls born in 1989. I thank God every day for their healthy, full-term birth. I, too, was also high risk and on bedrest for 3 months. I believe my best Christmas was that year they were born. We had five healthy children, a too small house and one-salary income yet we had they best Christmas ever. The kids were young and didn't care that Santa had very little money as long as their were presents under the tree. Those were the days when an empty box was just as fun to play with than the present itself. When a stocking filled of candy, toothbrushes and small little toys kept them busy for hours. And where the brand name of the clothing was not important as long as is fit and was comfortable and no one cared if it didn't have a special "Name". Everyone was so innocent back then including my husband and me!

Re: Take Me For A Ride (4:32pm November 25, 2009):
I remember making Thanksgiving dinner for everyone when I was 19 and was first married. I had a very old oven which always cooked unevenly. My turkey and pies turned out good but something happened to the dressing. It was a mess! I had too much seasoning, the celery and onions didn't cook; it was just awful! The rolls turned out so hard; we could have played baseball with them. I tried! I cried! Times has past and my cooking skills are far better so now when I cook Thanksgiving dinner everyone gets full, slump around the t.v. for football and nap! Thankgoodness!

I do watch book trailers that way I can get a feel for the storyline. If i pick up a book and read the back sometimes I just don't know if I want to read it. The information is sometimes misleading. I just don't like being disappointed. I have so many books that I have purchased and found after the first chapter I just don't like it. Your trailer looks wonderful!
