Roseanne Bittner | Welcome to Paradise Valley
July 4, 2013
Hello to readers of Fresh Fiction! Rosanne Bittner here,
asking you to hitch yourselves up to a Kindle or a print copy of my newest "wild
west" romance, PARADISE
VALLEY, and enjoy the ride! Available in July, you can get this book
through Sourcebooks.com, Amazon.com and also in stores. My story takes place in
1800's Wyoming, mostly along the famed Outlaw Trail. Maggie Tucker, a beautiful
and determined young woman, searches for three men who "did her wrong." She is
joined by handsome, rugged Sage Lightfoot, the owner of a vast ranch called PARADISE VALLEY. Sage
finds Maggie after she's been attacked and robbed, and he realizes the men who
wronged her are the very same men he's after himself for stealing from him. He
can't talk Maggie out of a determination to go with him on the manhunt, because
Maggie is bent on realizing her own revenge. She is a very tough, resilient
young woman who has never led an easy life, so going after the killers doesn't
frighten her at all. PARADISE VALLEY is my
58th published novel. It's a love story filled with lots of
adventure and action, a story about two people who fall into each other's arms
in spite of secrets they carry that could destroy their relationship, let alone
the possibility that one or both of them could die when they confront the
killers they seek. The story is rich with descriptions of Wyoming's
breathtaking landscape, and the characters will capture your heart. Be sure to visit my blogspot/ and get in
on my virtual July 4th celebration of PARADISE VALLEY! You can
sign up for a chance to win some great prizes! And be sure to visit my web site to learn
about my writing and lots of personal facts about my 30-year career! I am
working on another western romance called DESPERATE HEARTS, this one set in a
gold town in Montana. I love American history and especially the Old West and stories about Native
Americans. I have written many such books, which are listed on my web site and
many of which are still available through Amazon. I have won numerous writing
awards and am published in several foreign countries. I work very hard on
research for my stories and although the characters are fictitious, the settings
and surrounding history are real in every book I write. I've written about the
building of the transcontinental railroad, the Civil War, the French &
Indian wars, the Revolutionary War, the gold rush era, the beginnings of
locations like Denver, Colorado, and many books involving the real history of
our Native Americans. My most famous Native American story is a series of 7
books called SAVAGE DESTINY, now available from Amazon for Kindle. I think what I am best known for is the emotion I bring out in my readers and
the genuine, touching love stories I write. I also give my readers vivid
descriptions of the Western landscape, and that's because I have traveled the
West for years and carry a deep passion for the beautiful, rugged country that
is our American West. I grew up on westerns and although I am from Michigan, my
heart lies in the Rocky Mountains. I truly believe that in another life I was
an Indian or a pioneer. One thing I try hard to do is to tell the truth about
the growth of the West and especially about the history of our Native
Americans. Readers often write to me about an event in one of my books and ask
if it "really happened," because they never learned it in school. I know I've
done my job, because one of my goals is to teach American history in an
entertaining way. Thanks for letting me visit Fresh Fiction! Be sure to visit my personal blog site. I hope
to hear from some of you who will read PARADISE VALLEY and will
sign up to win prizes from my virtual Fourth of July party!

I feel as if I've missed out on so much, because you're a woman after my own heart!! Perhaps it could be the ties we both share to Michigan. Since there are Indian Reservations here in the State, that could be part of the fascination that I've always had with Native Indians. I've also had a strong interest in Colorado since I was in my early teens, but have never been there. For someone to put so much heart and soul into their books, I would be a fool to pass you up!! I love the cover to your latest book. The cursive script on the cover sets the picture off nicely, as well as tells a story in itself. I don't have an e-reader, but I'm looking forward to getting my hands on whatever books of yours I can find, and putting them all on my TBR list!! (Peggy Roberson 1:12pm July 4, 2013)
You are an author that I recognize from when I first discovered romance books. I can remember riding my bike to the library during summer and get a tote bag full of books then devouring them.
