Lydia Dare | WOLFISHLY YOURS

Happy Black Friday!

It's that time of year when everyone is filling out their holiday wish lists and then rushing to fill the wish lists of others. And that got us thinking about the Hadley family and what each of them might each add to their own holiday lists this year (if 200 years didn't separate us, that is.)

THE TAMING OF THE WOLF

Dashiel Thorpe, the Marquess of Eynsford ~ As the pack alpha, Dash has had quite the time keeping up with his three wayward half-brothers. So this year, he'd like a smart phone with GPS tracking to help with that endeavor.

Caitrin, the Marchioness of Eynsford ~ Cait is in need of a few gift certificates to Victoria's Secret. When one has a Lycan husband who likes to rip one's clothes off in fits of passion, what's there to do aside from replace them?

THE WOLF WHO LOVED ME

Weston Hadley ~ Weston is in need of a new wallet to hold all the blunt he's made on his gambling ventures.

Lady Madeline Hadley ~ What do you get the heiress who has it all, up to and including the man of her dreams? Maddie wants for nothing, except perhaps maybe a giant bathtub so she will never have to feel dirty again.

WOLFISHLY YOURS

Grayson Hadley ~ Gray would like few very simple bottles of whiskey, because he has more fun pretending to be drunk than he does actually drinking. He spends a lot of money on whiskey he pours into the potted palms instead of drinking. Of course, if anyone wanted to put a potted palm or two in his stocking, he wouldn't complain.

Liviana Hadley ~ Living so far away from her native New Orleans, Livi does miss more than a thing or two from Louisiana. So this year, she would like some crawfish, jambalaya and, of course, a box of pralines.

SUPPORTING CAST

Archer Hadley, Viscount Radbourne ~ Archer wants Lady Sophia Cole.  Undressed and in his bed.  It's too bad she wants nothing to do with him. He'd settle for a kiss. And the truth about her past.

Violet, Viscountess Radbourne ~ She wants a grand love affair of her own, and lots of and lots of grandchildren to bounce on her knee.

Lady Sophia Cole ~ Poor Sophie. Everything she's ever had was gambled away by her late-father. Her list would be rather long this year. If she can't have Bindweed Cottage (which is what she wants more than anything in the world) she'll settle for Lord Radbourne's head on a platter.

Lucien Thorpe, the Earl of Brimsworth ~ He wants a new high perch phaeton, so Uncle Gray and Uncle Wes can take him for a ride.

Lady Aurelia Thorpe ~ Little Lia would love a playhouse to put in the courtyard at Eynsford Park, so she can lock her twin brother far away from her for at least a few hours a day.

Eugenia, the Duchess of Hythe ~ Her Grace would like a new punchbowl this year to replace the one that was broken to bits during a freak hail storm inside her ballroom. (That scene can be found in IN THE HEAT OF THE BITE in case you missed it.)

So there's a peek at the Hadley family's (and assorted others') holiday wish list. What item makes the top of your list?

WOLFISHLY YOURS BY LYDIA DARE - IN STORES NOVEMBER 2012

Regency England Has Gone To The Wolves!

It Takes A Beast...

Grayson Hadley is in his own special hell-being treated like a wayward pup by the tutor employed to turn him into a true gentleman. So when he meets a hot-blooded American beauty with the mark of a Lycan, he's only too glad to slip his leash.

To Bring This Lady To Heel...

Accustomed to running wild in the swamps of Louisiana, Miss Liviana Mayeux is shipped off to her grandfather's in London to learn a thing or two about polite society. At first she scoffs at the English Lycans' apparent tameness. Little does Livi realize how very close she is to unleashing the passion that lies just beneath the surface...

Praise for THE WOLF WHO LOVED ME:

LOOKING FORWARD TO READING YOUR NEXT BOOK HERE
(Debbi Shaw 1:08pm November 23, 2012)

At the top of my list it would be a tie. I could use a new laptop before this one bites the dust, and a reliable vehicle, so that I could make more trips to see my Father in the nursing home. Other than that, I can make due with what I have, I suppose. It's been hard here after losing our house and belongings after my Husband lost his job about 4 years ago, and we haven't quite gotten our footing yet, but we're doing it somehow. Having a roof over our head was the biggest hurdle, and at least we've got our little apartment. Your book sounds like just the ticket to read during these upcoming cold Winter days!! Congratulations!!
(Peggy Roberson 1:29pm November 23, 2012)

OOoooh... sounds like a great book! Would love to read it!
(May Pau 1:58pm November 23, 2012)

My christmas wish list is really small this year. at the
top of my list is a new bookshelf for my apartment. These
books sound like an awesome read. I think it is awesome to
mix paranormal and regency. Thank you for the giveaway.
What is on your list this year?
(Emily Bowes 2:20pm November 23, 2012)

I don't really need much, the item at the top of my list is an external hard drive
so I can automatically back up all the photos I'm accumulating on my computer,
as well as the music, documents, etc.
(Barbara Elness 2:53pm November 23, 2012)

I think I have all I need. I am an easy person, books are my addiction - so that is the gift to give, but just being around the people I love is the thing I most care about (with some living so far, and some getting much older - each holiday is a present)
(Carla Carlson 3:23pm November 23, 2012)

This books sounds wonderful and would love to read

Sounds very interesting. I've heard of these books before. I liked your post. It was funny.
(Michelle Fidler 5:18pm November 23, 2012)

Happy Black Friday to you as well. I would love to read this book but the item at the top of my list is a portable DVD Player, which was on sale today for $35. My mom & I go Black Friday shopping together every year and today we were out for about 5 hours. We have a decent amount of our shopping done but not all. My sister-in-law also has this cute tradition were every year she has this turkey that we all put Christmas wish lists in.
(Chelsea Knestrick 5:43pm November 23, 2012)

I love this series. Since Borders has closed its doors, it has been difficult locating your books. Barnes and Nobles don't offer the services that Borders gives to their customers. Boy, I do missed Borders.
(Kai Wong 6:16pm November 23, 2012)

Wolfishly Yours sounds like a great book. I really like paranormal and
historical romances and this looks like a great combo.

(Jan D 8:16pm November 23, 2012)

with some lovely soaps & chocolates.
(Mary Preston 11:23pm November 23, 2012)

I wish for more time to read.
(Mary C 11:44pm November 23, 2012)

I'd love an mp3 player to replace my old one. I miss not listening to music and audiobooks.
(Judith Quiroz 11:53pm November 23, 2012)

I love werewolves! Can't wait to read this book.
(Shaine Klish 12:53pm November 24, 2012)

I'm wondering if you read The Wolves of Willoughby Chase by Joan Aiken. Her premise was that among the many engineering feats of Victorian England, a Channel Tunnel was dug, and wolves crossed back into Britain from the continent. But the wolves alluded to in the title are far more human.
Werewolf stories are usually great fun and this sounds like a winning combination.
(Clare O'Beara 7:29am November 24, 2012)

would LOVE to win & read!! PICK ME!!
I babysat my nephews 4 yr old & 3 month old while THEY went shopping yesterday!! now THAT was fun!!
(Pamela Faye Howell 11:07am November 24, 2012)

I'd love a new TV as mine is very old, has lost its color and has a distorted picture, wavy, flips, you name it...it does it all! Also, love warm cozy socks to wear around the house during the winter. Don't need very much and make due with things I have.
I love paranormal books with wolves or werewolves. This one sounds like one I'd really enjoy!
(Linda Luinstra 5:32pm November 24, 2012)

would love to read this book !
(Danielle McDonald 10:29am November 26, 2012)

Wolves seem to be more popular nowadays both the real ones and those imagined to be transformable with both human and animal characteristics. I've written twice this year about keeping the wolves in Wyoming on the endangered species list.
