About TALL, DARK, AND DIVINE by Jenna Bennett:

Being the Greek god of love doesn't mean you believe--or want--anything to do with that sappy emotion.  Sure, Eros runs his matchmaking business, Made in Heaven, but finding his own love has never been part of the equation.  When he spots the sweet baker who works across the street, he vows to match her with someone else before she stirs his sullen heart.

Annie Landon has given up on finding Mr. Right. What she needs is Mr. Right Here, Right Now, and this so-called "Greek God" she's heard is on the rebound sounds like the perfect kind of distraction. But picking up the bitter workaholic is easier said than done...especially when he seems unreasonably determined to match her with someone else.

Can a woman looking for love—and the matchmaking god who wants her to find it with someone else—have a shot at a happy ending? May the best god—or mortal—win.

Meet Eros from TALL, DARK, AND DIVINE!

Name: Eros. No last name. The Greek god of love doesn't need one.

Height: Six feet or so.

Weight: Around 180.

Hair: Black, curly, never more than two inches long, never in need of cutting because it never grows.

Eyes: Dark brown, melting, long lashes.

Leading Lady: Annie Landon, the proverbial girl next door: a baker of cookies and dog biscuits.

Bio: The Greek god of love, immortal matchmaker, son of Erebus (darkness) and Nyx (night); jilted husband of Psyche, the most beautiful woman the world has ever seen. Angry, bitter, cynical, and determined never to get involved with a mortal again. They're just too much trouble. (And look, I even managed to alphabetize those traits.)

Deceiving the Witch Next Door

About DECEIVING THE WITCH NEXT DOOR by Melissa Bourbon Ramirez:

Down-on-her-luck witch Storie Bell never thought the biggest threat to her future would be Reid Malone, the very man she'd run from years before. After striking it rich in Texas shale, he's back in town, and he seems hell bent on getting in the way of her bookstore's grand opening. A witch trying to blend in a small southern town is hard enough, but now he's seriously testing her strict No Kissing Mortal Men policy. But even witches don't have a spell for that.

Reid knows there's much more to Storie than meets the eye. But right now he has only one mission: to infiltrate her shop so he can snatch the elusive secret ingredient to his father's million-dollar moonshine recipe. Once he does, he can go back to the city and get out of his small hometown, a place in which he has no future.

But as the days go by, he can't help falling for Storie in every way...and every encounter brings him closer to finding out what happens when you try to deceive a witch.

Meet Reid from DECEIVING THE WITCH NEXT DOOR!

Name:  Reid Malone

Height: 6 feet

Weight:  178 pounds

Hair:  Chestnut brown

Eyes:  As green as a mossy lake in Texas

Leading Lady:  Storie Bell

Bio:  Born in Bloomington, Texas, Reid Malone has always itched to shake the dust of his hometown off his Ropers.  His mother left him and his father when he was a boy—she couldn't take small town life.  That left a mark on Reid, convincing him that he was too big for a little square town, too.  He has a Celtic  tattoo on his arm to symbolize the family he once had.  He graduated from UT Austin, but made millions on Texas shale.  Now he manages his investments and his mineral holdings from Bloomington and sticks around to help his father with The Speakeasy, a bar Jiggs Malone owns, and to find the secret ingredient his father needs for his Apple Pie Moonshine recipe that will make him his own millions.

Turn ons: Blue jeans, cut offs, a white, knotted tee shirt, and the girl next door look.  A little mystery and intrigue in a woman is always a good thing.  Someone who can hold her own with him, who speaks her mind, and who likes both the small town boy in him, as well as the big city business man.  A belly button piercing is a plus.  Which pretty much sums up Storie Bell.

Turn offs: Pushy women. Anyone who can't fight for what they want or need.  Anyone who'd not Storie Bell.

Top or bottom? Top, and wickedly so. ;)

Favorite Quote: Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.  ~ Mark Twain

About TAKE IT LIKE A VAMP by Candace Havens:

Vampire Nick Christos might've been born in the Middle Ages, but the good old days seem tame compared to the last eight years he's spent ruling the Supernatural Council. His only respite is with his cute neighbor Casey Meyers, a woman he wants more than any undead man should. Sure, he's forced to take a cold shower after every encounter, but there's no way he'll test his own strength by getting too close to a human, and he's not willing to risk her life--not with bloodthirsty kin on the prowl out to ruin Nick's life.

When said kin shows up, the innocent Casey is caught in the middle of a centuries old fight, and Nick's biggest fear is realized.  Now, instead of keeping his hands off his neighbor, he'll risk everything to save the human he's come to love.

Meet Nick from TAKE IT LIKE A VAMP!

Name: Nick Christos

Height: Six foot four inches

Weight:  180

Hair: Sandy Blonde

Eyes:  Dark Gray

Leading Lady: Casey Meyers

Bio: Nick Christos is a billionaire playboy, who has a wide variety of business interests. He is the head of the Supernatural Council and helps to keep peace between the monsters and the humans. He's had the hots for his curvy neighbor for months, and has a difficult time concentrating when she's around.

Turn ons: Casey is his biggest turn on. He loves her free spirit and the way she looks at life. She helps him remember his humanity.

Turn offs: He is turned off by evil, especially in the form of nasty Goth witches.

Top or bottom?:  Nick will take Casey any way he can get her.

Re: Meet the Heroes from Covet Books!

I've been anxiously waiting to read "Take it Like a Vamp," but I have to admit that Reid's eyes "As green as a mossy lake in Texas" have piqued my curiosity! My money's on Nick, but I can't wait to read about Reid!
(Susan Navidad 3:40am August 21, 2012)

Reid Malone, it sounds like he's in for a lot of fun! Book sounds great and out of the three, this is the one I would read first.
(Barbara Hanson 4:29am August 21, 2012)

Each seems deserving of the win. I'll cast my vote for Eros.
(G S Moch 7:28am August 21, 2012)

Reid Malone sounds like the kind of laid back, casual guy I like.
(Anne Muller 8:35am August 21, 2012)

I vote for Nick! I have a thing for vamps and the taller the better!
(Angie Lilly 8:38am August 21, 2012)

They all sound magnificent, but I'm voting Reid wins. Good luck to all of them!

I LOVED Take it like a Vamp! I am anxious to read the other two... And the authors descriptions make me think that they are going to give Mr. Christos some good competition! But Nick is one HOTT Vamp!!!
(Latochia Bell 12:59pm August 21, 2012)

All the books sounds great but...I am voting for Reid. He
just intrigues me.

(Rita Wray 1:06pm August 21, 2012)

This one is pretty hard, and not being a member of Facebook to see the fireworks, I would have to put my money on Eros. After all, he is the God of Love. Who could be more powerful than that to dethrone?? I do love them all, though, in their own "qwirky" ways, and I don't mean that as an insult. I would adore having the chance to read these books!!
(Peggy Roberson 1:07pm August 21, 2012)

I'm rooting for Nick!
(Kris Johnson 1:09pm August 21, 2012)

My vote goes to Nick.

It's hard to pick just one!!! :) But Nick sounds like the perfect bad boy :).

(Christine Arcidiacono 5:15pm August 21, 2012)

They all sound so gooood...but Reid Malone gets my vote (he's tugging at my heartstrings because his momma left him when he was a little boy)!! The storyline sounds really great, and I love all the awesome bookcovers!
(Linda Luinstra 5:19pm August 21, 2012)

(Lisa Hutson 7:52pm August 21, 2012)

I like them all but I think I will go with the jilted love god. Will enjoy seeing him fall in love with a human.
(Emily Bowes 8:10pm August 21, 2012)

I vote for Reid Malone. Enjoyed your blog.
(Sheila True 9:01pm August 21, 2012)

Wow! I don't think I'd kick any of these hunks out of bed! Yikes!!! I'm leaning
toward Nick, though. 6'4", sandy blond hair and dark gray eyes... Yum!! The best
part? Any man who said to me, "Not every woman is you," he said. "And you are
mine." Uh... yeah... 'nuff said! :D

(Kay Kerkeslager 12:52pm August 22, 2012)

Books look good.
(Kay Kerkeslager 12:52pm August 22, 2012)

Reid Malone does it for me.
A god is going to be so arrogant he won't be worth living with.
A vampire of any kind - hey, I can't forget Salem's Lot. The good vampires in Twilight are the vegetarian exceptions, don't forget.
A guy who uses Mark Twain as his inspiration and searches out recipes, he's going to be fun.
(Clare O'Beara 6:14am August 22, 2012)

I don't mind who wins so long as I am their to witness the battle. The books look amazing!!
(Mary Preston 6:16am August 22, 2012)

Eros - I would SO LOve to WIN!!! PICK ME!! PICK ME!!
(Pamela Faye Howell 9:39am August 22, 2012)
