I think being challenged forces you to do more than you thought you could often with terrific results
Re: Romancing the Ranger (2:41pm March 18, 2016):

Re: Remaking Ryan (11:08am January 21, 2016):
Road trips rarely go as planned but that is part of the appeal. It's the journy not the destination

I haven't tried it but would like to.
Re: Crazy Little Thing Called Love (3:22pm November 28, 2015):

Re: River Wolf (10:07am August 28, 2015):
I love Heather's work and am amazed at her output. I like Mini Me's comment. I am thrilled to see so many authors posting positive comments. I don't like the backstabbing I often see. I think it is terrific that Ms. Long is paying it forward.
Re: A Peach of a Pair (8:33am August 7, 2015):

Re: Witness to Passion (10:57am June 15, 2015):
I have a fear of heights. I fell off of a hillside as a kid (the flying was fun the landing not so much so now I get awful vertigo where heights are concerned. Still love to fly though (go figure) my husband humors me by doing things like going to the top of the GW monument and taking a picture so I won't have to do it and won't miss out.

Re: Unfixable (7:40pm April 15, 2014):
I don't mind a broody hero if he gets over himself. If he is to emo I want to just put him out of his misery.

Re: A Cowboy for Christmas (1:08pm November 4, 2013):
When the kids were younger we all got together and made sugar cookies and decorated them. My goodness the mess but the memories were worth it.
Re: How To Date A Dragon (7:30am September 27, 2013):
Escape is important. Books have been my refuge all my life they have been my port in all the storms of my life. I can't write so I do appreciate those of you who can.

I can read Christmas romances any time of the year! My must have for any town is a coffee shop.
Re: Italian Affair (6:25am August 10, 2013):
I have been known to laugh, cry, and sigh out loud while reading. My husband always knows how into a book I am by my reactions. But who hasn't wanted to "Gibbs slap" a character when they royally mess up?
Re: Second Ride Cowboy (7:21am July 28, 2013):
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't I've seen it go both ways.
Re: The Officer And The Secret (3:32pm July 19, 2013):
My ex was a submarine sailor. And yes he is now my ex but while he served and we were married we would communicate via Skype when we could. Hot letters and goodies from home were sent often. It takes a special kind of love to make it long distance. Ours didn't make it but I've seen it done.

Re: Winning a Bride (6:43pm July 5, 2013):
I like novellas sometimes but much prefer a full length novel.
Re: Prince of Secrets (5:59pm July 3, 2013):
I am a compulsive book buyer. I know I should hold off till my TBR shelf is whittled down some but if a book comes out by one of my favorite authors I just have to get it.
Re: Flirting with Disaster (6:40pm June 10, 2013):
A fatal flaw in a hero hmmm ego and no sense of humor.
Re: The Seven-Day Target (6:15am April 29, 2013):
I love romantic suspense novels. I like the romance to be part of a larger story as opposed to the whole story.
Re: A Man for All Seasons (7:42am April 19, 2013):
With all that has been happening on the news lately I want to believe in angels. I believe in earthbound angels like out first responders and the medical and law enforcement folks that protect and serve.

Re: Once Again A Bride (10:28am February 7, 2013):
I've got a typing table my father in-law used to use. As he was one of the smartest and kindest men I've ever known I enjoy the feeling of him looking over my shoulder.
Re: A Little Bit Wicked (6:52pm December 29, 2012):
I plan to do more for my health. Run more, drive less. I also need to get the clutter under control. Wishing you all a happy, healthy new year.
Re: Renegade (1:58pm December 24, 2012):
I grew up Jewish but my husband is Christian so the kids got a little of both. I think my favorites are the Muppets & Fragglerock specials and maybe A Christmas Carol with Patrick Stewart.
Re: Captive Of The Border Lord (12:43pm December 20, 2012):
Of course we have stories but one of my favorites has to be the fact that my mother was the clutziest woman on the planet. She is the only person I've ever known to close her own nose in the refridgerator.
Re: A Seal At Heart (7:11am December 14, 2012):
My husband and daughter first and foremost. My son and his wife they live far away but will answer the phone at any time as will my big sister. I have a small circle of friends I can count on through thick and thin.
Re: Abigail And Mistletoe (3:10pm October 22, 2012):
You write to escape and that is why I read. A perfect match!
Re: Sultry With A Twist (7:33am October 21, 2012):
Your post made me laugh. It reminds me of an article I read by Laurell K. Hamilton. In her books the female lead has several lovers. She gets asked about her love life all the time. She says it would be exhausting to have that many men in her real life but it still amazes her that folks feel they have the right to ask. Keep writing and when folks ask just smile and keep em guessing.
Re: Rev It Up (7:29am October 21, 2012):
I've read the first 3 Black Knights and look forward to the next installment. I LOVE books that think outside the box. Things tend to get formulaic if you don't. My only complaint is that bookstore owners seem to need labels in order to shelve books. I recently went to re-purchase the feaver series by Karen Marie Moning and found 2 in romance, 2 in Scifi/fantasy and 1 in fiction. Write your stories as they come to you and there will be an audience.
Re: In Rides Trouble (9:31pm September 7, 2012):
What a fun, sexy romp. I love the interaction between Rebel and Boss.
Re: Immortally Yours (2:07pm August 27, 2012):
Love the P.N.N. Web site. My favorite article was Sit, Sit, SIT! Tips for Training Your HellHound The ads are hilarious too. Word to the wise I had to look at it in IE8 as the links didn't work in Chrome.
Re: Blame It On Texas (8:08am August 26, 2012):
Laughter is the best medicine for your soul. I read to escape and laughter makes the journey that much more enjoyable.
Re: In the Line of Duty (8:04am August 26, 2012):
I think that as long as a man realize that a woman's biggest sex organ is her brain he will succeed whether he is alpha or not.
Re: The Big Beach Book (1:32pm August 23, 2012):
I grew up on the beach on Long Island and biy do I miss it. I am land-locked now in GA and it is at least a 2 hour drive to the beach. I love visiting in books when I can't get there in person and besides there isn't enough eye bleach for Bubba in a speedo.
Re: Hell On Wheels (8:23am August 10, 2012):
Oh my just my speed. Count me in. Couldn't wait for contest so I just bought it. :-)
Re: Tangle Of Need (9:00am May 28, 2012):
I await each new Nalini Singh book with anticipation. I love each world she has created but I must admit a partiality to the Psy/Changling series. Hawke is my book boyfriend. Right up there with J.D. Robb's Rourke. I prefer a series. I like watching the characters grow.
Re: Untouched (6:39pm April 28, 2012):
Love the cover. I have loads of songs with associared memories and feelings.
Re: Somebody To Love (6:46am April 24, 2012):

Re: Scrumptious (8:57am January 16, 2012):

The military is a great place to find heroes.
Re: Tall, Dark And Cowboy (12:20pm November 7, 2011):
I've had to start over several times. But I've been blessed with good friends and family that have been there for me to lend a hand when I truly needed it.
Re: Liver Let Die (8:04am November 5, 2011):
Names are important. We named my son David after my grandfather who had passed. The problem is I have a brother, an uncle and a cousin named David as well. My son chooses to go by his middle name. When we named our daughter Nora we thought it would be unique. She had a whole different set of issues with it.
Re: Undead And Undermined (6:32am July 22, 2011):
Snicker. Too funny. I have read the Twilight series and still don't get it. I also read the Undead series and am happy to say that I get it. Keep em coming.
Re: Master Of Smoke (8:41pm January 5, 2011):

Re: Twins Under His Tree (8:37pm December 2, 2010):
My father in-law served in WWII (Army) & Korea (Air Force). My father & mother served in the Army in Korea. My sister was in the Marines. I was in the Navy. My husband was in the Army in Viet Nam. My nephew is a West Point grad and served in Iraq.
I would love to win a copy of Twins under his tree! Thanks for the contest

Re: Dating Mr. December (5:50pm November 22, 2010):
It is folks like you who can take what they see & hear shake it up with a dose of imagination and put it into words that keep me going.
Re: One Touch of Scandal (8:48am September 26, 2010):
I have 3 inside shelter cats and did my first 5k walk yesterday to enlarge a local no kill shelter. I think what you are doing is terrific. I read to reward myself of course the kitties have to share. Sometimes they turn the pages faster than I can read. Hmmm
Re: Atlantis Betrayed (10:22am August 31, 2010):
Good luck with the move. One great thing about being a writer is that you can do it from anywhere. Looking forward to ATLANTIS BETRAYED and many more from you. Thanks for hours of escape.
Re: Chick with a Charm (5:27am February 19, 2010):
3 cats deign to reside with me. They wake me for treats no matter that it’s the weekend. They greet me at the door when I get home for their dinner which must be served before anything else gets done. They spread their charm between my husband and I not favoring either. I have 2 all black domestic short hairs and a long hair tortie that I wanted to name after Ethel Murman as she is tiny with a BIG mouth. I was voted down so she is now named Emily. My daughter has a rottie named Athena who is a sweet girl. I just don’t have the energy required for a dog I guess.
Re: Accidentally Demonic (4:52am February 18, 2010):
This series is a total romp. I would love a copy of Kiss & Hell. What a great title.
