Hi Everyone -

It's great to be visiting on Fresh Fiction again!

This time I'm here with the first book in my new Moon Series, MOONLIGHT. Since my Night Series involves vampire-like Night Walkers, and my new Moon Series includes werewolves and jaguar shifters, I'm often asked which type of paranormal creature I enjoy writing more.

This is a super tough question, because the two are VERY different to me as a writer, and I love writing both of them! LOL

Vampires are ancient, so you can bring torment from past events or decisions through centuries to create a really wounded character. Plus they're often very wealthy since they've had lifetimes to accumulate it. Vampires also have all kinds of inhuman powers at their disposal, and in my world, they're secret from humans.

All of this leads to suave and mysterious heroes who can sweep my heroines right off their feet.

Shifters bring a more contemporary feel to the page. They're not immortal (at least not in my world) so they live life to the fullest. They're also VERY strong and protect their own, whether it's their mate, their Pack, or even just a friend they care about.

So I enjoy writing Shifters too because they're very passionate and a little rough, more blue collar than my wealthy eccentric immortals.

As a whole, I love reading both Shifters and Vampires, and I'm not sure which is my favorite! LOL

I actually enjoy both vamps and shifters books, but my preference leans a bit more towards the shifters... still enjoy both at timse when I am in the mood for some paranormal.

I am a fan of both with the caveat that there are some I want to stake at noon and others shoot with silver, but when they are good, they are very good ;) I am excited about this series, it looks yummy and I have added to my wishlist and TBR.

I'm more of a shifters fan. I enjoy stories with werewolves. Is Moonlight available in print copy? I don't own an e-reader, but I'd love to read this book which sounds great. I love the name Lana (it's my sister's name)!

Sorry I forgot to answer the question:
I lean toward shifters. They need to live with a foot in each world which opens up all kinds of potential challenges, where as vampires live essential in the human world. Vampires are getting a bit 'over done', but shifters are just now coming into their own =)

I'm on both teams but if I had to choose just one to read I would have to go with the shifters. I'm not sure why. I tried to add your Moonlight to my wish list here but the computer wasn't letting me. I'll have to try and remember to do that at home.
