Re: Moonlight (2:45pm July 24, 2013):
I have to admit I am more of shifters fan. Love the sexy, animal passion they exude.
Re: Waking Up With A Rake (10:53pm January 10, 2013):
This story sounds so intriguing I can't wait to read it. I've recently read Touch of a Rogue and really enjoy your work. Thank you for the giveaway.
Re: Married By Midnight (3:11am August 3, 2012):
Oftentimes I will start to collect books for a series before starting it. But I read the two books in the Pembroke series in the last month, and I am very excited I didn't have to wait too long for your next installment to this wonderful series. Thank goodness for encouragement and inspiration.
Re: Hell, Yeah (6:27pm August 11, 2010):
I've read great reviews about the Honky Tonk series and I have got to get my hands on the first and second of this set. Just in time for My Give A Damn's Busted. Hehehe Carolyn, I just love the titles to the books in this series. It's so refreshing and original!
Re: Crush On You (10:15am July 7, 2010):
I enjoy friends to lovers themes. Its so satisfying when both characters begin the realization of being lovers.
Re: Dark Flame (6:06pm June 27, 2010):
Big Welcome, Becky!! I would love your job at Fresh Fiction. You are write in the pulse of what's happening in the book industry. Wishing you best of luck with all that you do.
Re: Hidden Wives (6:01pm June 27, 2010):
Your post made me laugh. Yup sometimes you wonder how many people can die in a small town, or guess how many of them are terrorists. I do get into a reading slump from time to time, so I've made it a rule to read the next book in a different genre, ie after a contemporary, the next would be historical or paranormal.
I did find a gem of a read though. It was Laura Kinsale's Lessons in French. I thought she was a new author, and heck I just had to research her backlist and found that she's got some re-releases in larger mass market editions. I just loved Lessons in French. It was like SEP's humor in a historical. *smile*
Re: Smooth Talking Stranger (4:04pm June 20, 2010):
Both my Dad and Father-in-law have passed, but DH has his day today. We celebrate with his favorite dinner tonight, but today he'll be having some much needed quiet time and drink at the local tavern watching his football.
LOL, just the few hours away from the controlled chaos of home will refresh him.
Re: Desire Me (11:12pm June 8, 2010):
I've done scavenger hunts before and they are fun. What a great way to win this book and start on a great trilogy.
Re: The Jaguar Prince (2:49pm May 7, 2010):
Karen, what a funny post!! When I lived out by the country in California each day was greeted by sqwacking crows. Those annoying things have taught me to wake up early each morning. Grrr...
Re: Rule's Bride (6:41pm April 25, 2010):
It sounds like my kind of series. I'm looking forward to this one.
Re: Rule's Bride (3:13pm April 23, 2010):
The Brides trilogy sounds wonderful and I need to start this right away.
Re: Big Bad Wolf (4:38pm April 10, 2010):
I have that same problem with JD Robb books. I'm always reading them out of order because the library doesn't have all of them.
Re: Something About You (11:39pm March 20, 2010):
I love Hitchcock movies when I was growing up. They are still some of my favorite movies to watch, like, Marnie and Psycho.
Matt Damon as Bourne has really brought this movie character to exciting new heights.
Re: The Highlander's Sword (10:45am March 18, 2010):
Very nice post and I enjoyed it. My romantic hero will always be the one that protects and honors his heroine. Although he may not know it at the time, but eventually comes around. *sigh*
Re: Promise Me Tonight (9:14pm February 13, 2010):
I love the charmer. Somehow, having a good laugh while he's turning it on just appeals to me. Happy Valentine's Day.
Re: Hold On Tight (9:19am January 26, 2010):
Hi Stephanie,
I've become a word junkie since reading historical novels. I have to look up the word in my dictionary that I have handy with me at all times when I read.
Re: Down By The River (11:15pm January 24, 2010):
I love series, but I prefer that they are stand alone. Its so tortuous to have to wait. I admit that I will gather 2-3 in a series before starting.
Re: Dead Head (5:11pm January 21, 2010):
Very nice red dress. Be daring and bold. I agree with Mary, you'll feel like a million dollars in it.
Re: Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy (12:57pm January 11, 2010):

Re: Come Hell Or High Water (4:48pm January 10, 2010):
When the kids go to school, hubby goes to work, and I get to read my book. Ah, peaceful.
Re: My Dearest Mr. Darcy (3:27pm January 7, 2010):
That was a classic line from Gone With The Wind. Although, when I read about childbirth during English historicals I sort of cringe dreading if the heroine will survive or not because of horrors of medicine during that time. But of course, we know the heroine always survive her childbirthing.
Re: Fugitive (11:22am January 5, 2010):
LOL, I just love those character interviews. Great job, Cheryl!! Congrats on your new release.
Re: Deadly Liaisons (11:01pm December 31, 2009):

Re: Sins of the Flesh (2:32pm December 7, 2009):
I make lists. But during the Holiday I don't sweat it too much. There's always another day.
Re: My Unfair Lady (2:40pm December 6, 2009):
I enjoyed your post. Sometimes for me its going to the movies and the trailers before the movie, besides being so over-whelming, is filled with visual enticements.
Re: Sex Drive (9:18pm December 2, 2009):

Re: Men Of The Otherworld (7:00pm November 15, 2009):
I vote for Charles Cornick. With a strong and unusual mate as Anna, I think they are the stronger couple. He's empowered by the bond of love between them.
I would love a chance to win Patricia's book.
Re: Dead Pan (8:58pm November 14, 2009):
Congratulations on your release. Sounds like a great read.
Re: Kindred In Death (6:49pm November 8, 2009):

Re: Rainwater (12:07pm November 7, 2009):

I love detailed descriptions of the places in books. It adds so much more dimension and enjoyment for the reader in being able to be transported into the background and be part of the story along with the characters.
Re: The Other Mr. Darcy (4:38pm October 16, 2009):
What a wonderful idea....Caroline's story. It would be fun to know how Caroline's love life fares with another Mr.Darcy !! How delicious...can't wait to read the book.
Re: The Trials Of The Honorable F. Darcy (11:59am October 15, 2009):
I identify most with Elizabeth Bennett. I believe she was a forward thinker for a woman in her during her time, and certainly she was going to marry for true love.
Re: The Hunt (7:05pm October 12, 2009):
Ann, I love your lemon story. I've always believed in "one door closes, another one opens" philosophy in life. That's because life has handed plenty of lemons, but oh, the lemonade drink is much tastier !!
Re: The Promise (1:45pm October 11, 2009):
Though my tastes have changed , I delight in going back to reread my favorites. Sort of like visiting old friends.
Re: A Hollywood Ending (12:40pm October 11, 2009):
Inner circle of authors: Linda Howard, SEP, Lisa Kleypas, Mary Balogh, Stephanie Laurens, Elizabeth Holt, Nora Roberts, Robin Schone. I've come across new authors to me which I loved their work: Megan Hart, Maya Banks, Lauren Dane, Amanda McIntyre.
Re: Shades of Twilight (3:38pm September 27, 2009):
I have never gone to a signing at a bookstore, but I have won giveaways where the author signs her book.
Re: A Christmas Ball (10:10am September 21, 2009):
To Q# My fondest christmas memory was was my family had a family reunion for Christmas all in one location. This was a monumental things because we live in different parts of the country and all have seperate lives. It was amazing that we had all siblings and their children.
Re: What I Did For Love (10:23pm September 19, 2009):
I don't have a reading ritual but I do resent it when I am disturbed. Well, that's almost always when the kids are around, so I try to get into my books during the time after school and during dinner. Afterwards, its 'me' time. My favorite is soaking in the tub for hours with a good book with the door locked, of course. The family can fend for themselves when mommy is locked away.*g* In addition, when I drive I've always got an audio CD book going, so you can say I am never without a book.
Re: Beast Warrior (3:32pm September 16, 2009):
What an interesting post. I didn't know there was so much more to the wolf. Thank you for that information. I would love to read your book. A Scottish shapeshifter story is my kind of book.
Re: Cleopatra's Daughter (11:41am September 14, 2009):
Scuba diving in Egypt. How awe inspiring and I can only wonder how richly detailed your book will be. Congratulations on its release.
Re: The Trouble With J.J. (12:03pm September 7, 2009):
Sara, great post.
My kind of hero is smart, self-confidant, sensual with a sense of humor but totally Alpha-male type just madly crazy over his heroine. I just loved Jamie Fraser from Diana Gabaldon's OUTLANDER,and Drustan and Daegus MacKeltar from KMM's Highlander series. And let's not forget SEP's Chicago Stars heroes, they are so lovable.
Re: Table Manners (10:23am September 6, 2009):
I am not cleaning the house. There I said it. With the kids around, I feel like Mr. Incredible would feel with his crime fighting: "Would it hurt you to just leave the place clean for 5 minutes!." No, I do my cleaning while they've gone to school.
As far as this weekend, we had our BBQ out of the way, so hubby and I can go Salsa dancing later this weekend. I have been reading NEW MOON by Stephenie Meyer, and yes I'm a little behind because its a YA book and I thought what's the big deal. There is probably no romance. I am soooo wrong. From the first chapter of TWILIGHT, I have been in thrall, its that good. This whole saga has pulled at my heart strings. So hopefully I'll finish reading this book and jump onto another one in my TBR pile.
Have a great rest of the weekend!!
Re: Tie Me Down (1:34pm September 4, 2009):
Mostly what I hear about New Orleans is Mardi Gras celebrations from travel shows on TV. For a tourist point of view it looks like a really exciting thing to participate in. Someday I hope to visit New Orleans, learn its rich history, hang out at great restaurants and investigate a little voodoo stuff, weird that, but it kind of fascinates me.
Re: Highland Rebel (1:30pm September 3, 2009):
Thank you for your post. I get thoroughly entranced when I'm thinking about something I had read earlier, or when I'm in the middle of a wonderful book. Life and people just swirl about me and I seem like worlds away. Quite an escape isn't it.
Re: Seduce Me (3:00pm August 2, 2009):
Love scenes should anticipation, emotional and sensual connection. Love your book trailer and cover. Congratulations on your release.
