I love a
makeover. Like seriously love a makeover be it a heroine (or hero) in a romance
novel, a person on a TV show or even me when I get my yearly summer hair and
have to change my makeup routine to better go with my new hair color. Yep, I’m a
makeover junkie and Sephora is my dealer. I’ll totally addicted. It’s best if I
admit that up front.
So when I had to opportunity to celebrate the release of MAKE ME UP
(Killer Style 3) with a makeover, you know I was there. The catch? I
had to video the whole thing including the no makeup parts (THE HORROR). Good
thing I have no shame when it comes to a makeover though because here it is:
Have you ever gotten a makeover? If not would you? Let me know in the comments
and I’ll gift a digital copy of HIGH-HEELED
WONDER (Killer Style 1) and THIS YEAR'S
BLACK (Killer Style 2) to one of you. Yay! :) And check here for more opportunities to win.
About MAKE ME UP
Former special ops-turned private-investigator Cam Hardy leaves a trail of
broken hearts wherever he goes. He's all charm and sex appeal, and who can blame
him for putting it to good use? Besides, it works damn well on the stunning and
tough-as-nails makeup artist Drea Sanford. Only this time, Cam may be in over
his head...
Drea is trying to keep her naughty affair with Cam a secret. After all, he's
Harbor City's version of a Casanova...if Casanova had a motorcycle. When Cam
makes their hot little liaison known to the public, however, Drea vows never to
have sex with him again. Then one of her clients turns up dead. Now Drea is
suspect number one—and she needs Cam's help. But sleeping with him is one
thing...trusting him is quite another.

About Avery Flynn
Avery Flynn has three slightly-wild children, loves a hockey-addicted husband
and is desperately hoping someone invents the coffee IV drip.
She fell in love with romance while reading Johanna Lindsey's Mallory books. It
wasn't long before Avery had read through all the romance offerings at her local
library. Needing a romance fix, she turned to Harlequin's four books a month
home delivery service to ease the withdrawal symptoms. That worked for a short
time, but it wasn't long before the local book stores' staffs knew her by name.
Avery was a reader before she was a writer and hopes to always be both. She
loves to write about smartass alpha heroes who are as good with a quip as they
are with their *ahem* other God-given talents. Her heroines are feisty, fierce
and fantastic. Brainy and brave, these ladies know how to stand on their own two
feet and knock the bad guys off theirs.
No - would try it though sometimes I just like to change things up. (Beth Elder 2:37pm February 16, 2015)
If having your makeup done by a Mary Kay consultant counts, then yes. I can't wait to read this series!! (Carolyn Rhodes 2:53pm February 16, 2015)
No interest in a makeover. Way too much maintenance. I will keep my no makeup, short hair ways. :-) Too many other things I would rather do with the time. (Lisa Hutson 7:22pm February 16, 2015)
I love the blurb. Sounds like a great book (Teresa Noel 7:37pm February 16, 2015)
I think I would do a makeover but not have it filmed. Your book sounds great. Hope to read it soon. I want to know who killed Natasha? (Sharon Extine 10:10pm February 16, 2015)
I had a makeover when I was in my 20's. It was a dare, but turned out to be fun. (Nyala Edwards 10:34am February 17, 2015)
Y'all know what you like for your look and it sounds like y'all got it! :) Good luck with the giveaway! xoxo, Avery (Avery Flynn 3:36pm February 17, 2015)
I'm not a big makeover fan/ I like the way I am. (Pam Howell 7:45am February 18, 2015)
I had a makeover at a cosmetics counter once and my hair stylist is itching to do my makeup. I think it's fun to try something new. And yes, I am a Sephora gal too! (Linda Harrison 10:34am February 18, 2015)
No, I'm not a big makeup wearer. Now nail polish is another story. I'm a nail polish whore! You name a shade, I'm sure I've got it. (Sue Galuska 12:00pm February 18, 2015)
I have never had a make over per se. (Denise Austin 4:40pm February 18, 2015)
I have, but their makeup look sort of orange on me. (Nancy Luebke 5:20pm February 18, 2015)
I've never had a make over - it could be fun as long as I don't have to subject to world to me with no makeup! (Glenda Martillotti 8:56pm February 18, 2015)
Not sure. My sister in law thinks I need one. I got a combo bday and Christmas gift certificate as a big hint. (Laura Gullickson 10:46pm February 18, 2015)
Yes. Years ago I went to a luncheon where they had several hair stylists who chose three of us at random to "make-over". I ended up with an asymetrical cut and a red tint to my hair (could be washed out). Nothing I would have chosen for myself, but the cut was really cute and I loved it. I did ditch the red dye---it was too fake a red for my taste. (Flora Presley 4:15pm February 20, 2015)
