Re: Last Chance Cowboys: The Outlaw (5:34pm July 6, 2017):

My favorite undercover agent for the humor factor was
Arnold Schwarzenegger in Kindergarten Cop.

Re: Lord of Lies (5:30pm July 6, 2017):

Cecilia beat me to it, I have to pick Sir Percy Blakeney!

Re: How To Impress a Marquess (1:18am November 10, 2016):

This sounds very intriguing, thanks!

Re: Oh What a (Wedding) Night (6:30pm April 24, 2016):

One of my favorite tropes is the bluestocking and the rake

Re: Jump Cut (5:16pm February 29, 2016):

I totally agree that you focus on the important female
traits/capabilities.

Re: Thirty Nights (5:12pm February 29, 2016):

All I can say is WOw!

Re: An Amish Market (5:09pm February 29, 2016):

I love our local Farmer's Market.... yummy fresh veggies
and berries

Re: An Amish Market (5:05pm February 29, 2016):

Important values are loyalty, love, understanding and a
wicked good sense of humor.

Re: Temper (5:02pm February 29, 2016):

I try to visualize a good outcome for the situation. If
that doesn't work, I drop imaginary water balloons on all
those causing me problems.

Re: To the Stars (4:57pm February 29, 2016):

Very intense relationship, love the name Harlow

Re: Single Wicked Wolf (11:12am November 1, 2015):

I agree with you about Spike, my favorite breakout character.

Re: A Remarkable Kindness (9:11pm August 27, 2015):

My favorite is enemies to true loves.

Re: Little Pretty Things (8:55pm August 27, 2015):

I was on the track and field team because throwing things
was a great stress relief!

Re: Then Sings My Soul (9:22pm April 12, 2015):

I look to my garden, or conversations with the elderly. Too much of history is
lost when they are not able to share their stories.

Re: A Horse for Kate (9:14pm April 12, 2015):

My daughter and all of my nieces and nephews love to read, and most prefer
hardcover books. They all go to the library at least weekly, and not to use the
computers!

Re: Remember Me (9:11pm April 12, 2015):

Right now my husband is listening to a playlist of Irish drinking songs while
doing the Taxes, I hope they turn out alriight! :)

Re: One Step Too Far (9:03pm March 18, 2015):

I love the idea of Emily reinventing herself as Cat.I love the idea of taking a break
from one's life.

Re: His Majesty's Secret Passion (6:26pm March 18, 2015):

Thank you for your excellent post. I am reading The Bollywood Affair by Sonali
Dev.

Re: Once a Wallflower, At Last His Love (4:30pm February 14, 2015):

Last book hero I fell for was Ransome William Dacre Vane,
the Duke of Rothbury, in Tessa Dare's Romancing the Duke.
He was partially blinded but still able to recognize the
right things to do for himself and Izzy.
The last hero I fell in love with was my submariner
husband 30 years ago, and I fortunately can still hug him
today.

Re: What To Do With A Bad Boy (8:55am November 6, 2014):

I think everyone has already mentioned my favorites, but I am
currently reading a steampunk series by Beth Ciotta called The
Glorious Victorious Darcys and I like her Cupcake Lover's
series as well.

Re: A Princess by Christmas (11:16pm October 23, 2014):

Love a Prince story, and added fun with Christmas!

Re: His Every Need (3:43pm August 20, 2014):

This looks like a great story, Beauty and the Beast was one of my favorite fairy tales when I was younger. I look forward to Trevor's British sense of humor.

Re: Across the Line (5:22am August 17, 2014):

Love the pranks by teammates, look forward to reading this!

Re: Poison (7:28pm August 16, 2014):

Thank you for the insights into the origin of this story, looks interesting.

Re: Shadowed By Grace (6:21pm May 23, 2014):

As the proud daughter of a Purple Heart veteran of the WWII
Army Air Corps, with generations of family that served, back
to the Revolutionary War, I thank you for your books!

Re: To Charm a Naughty Countess (6:17pm May 23, 2014):

"You make me smile!"

Re: Live And Let Love (4:12am December 28, 2012):

This sounds like a great read, thanks!

Re: Until My Soul Gets It Right (8:43pm September 30, 2012):

Due to time and work issues, I have been unable to physically participate in a
book club. However, I regularly attend book chats online and enjoy discussing
books with readers and writers alike.

Re: Construction Beauty Queen (8:38pm September 30, 2012):

The Fourth of July parade in the small Illinois town where we lived for a few
years. So many groups dressed up and marched that I was amazed that anyone
was left on the sidewalks to watch!

Re: An Unlikely Countess (5:00pm March 20, 2011):

I think that in a society where you are rigidly defined as a person by the class
you are born into, it would be natural to feel out of place and depressed if you
found yourself in "reduced" circumstances. Your lack of funds would not only
cut you off from the circle of society you were used to, but the people in your
new setting would never quite accept you as one of them. I look forward to
reading An Unlikely Countess.

Re: A Tiger In The Kitchen (10:02pm February 5, 2011):

Pineapple tarts, and they sound yummy! What an adventureful life CHeryl has
had! I look forward to reading her book.

Re: One Touch of Scandal (2:59pm September 26, 2010):

Wow, first time my comment has been
worth a dollar for kitties!
Unfortunately, I do not have a pet at
present, but I reward myself with
reading, shopping online and going
out to pick apples.

BTW Liz, the more modern substitute
for using parchment paper to line
cookie sheets is a silicon pan liner
such as Silpat. Cookies never stick and
the Silpat is washable and reuseable.

I read about this donation/contest
opportunity on Dakota Cassidy's
Facebook page and got an email from
Fresh Fiction about it.

Re: Royal Blood (4:13pm September 4, 2010):

I enjoy well-researched books and look
forward to reading both series.

Re: Demonkeepers (6:35pm April 14, 2010):

Looks like a great series, have to go with
Lucius as I feel the brain is under-
appreciated as an erogenous zone...

Re: Big Bad Wolf (11:00pm April 10, 2010):

It seems I agree with most of the
posters as I can't stand starting a book
and finding out it is the 3rd, 4th or
sometimes even the 10th book in a
series. I have started to put off buying
books until I find the others in the
series first. Too much thinking about
the order and character arrivals can
pull me right out of a story and ruin it
for me.

Re: The Gift (10:54pm December 8, 2009):

Deb, I think that our first Christmas
with my daughter is still the most
memorable. To experience the sights
and sounds of the holidays with a new
baby (though my daughter was born
in July, so she was a little more
"interactive" with the tree than Barbi)
brings the Christmas message alive in
so many ways.

I love Barbi's wedding photo.... tell
Princess Bonnie she almost stole the
show in that dress!

Merry Christmas!

Re: Final Approach (11:18pm October 31, 2009):

Take it to work, someone always eats
even the worst of the unwanted there.
Also, this year we gave out individual
popcorn packets and pretzels, which we
will probably use on trips.

Re: Mr. Perfect (7:03pm July 12, 2009):

I usually read a book because of the
author, a recommendation from
someone who knows my likes, or on a
whim. Excessive hype usually turns
me off reading a series, and almost
made me pass up Harry Potter.

Re: The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society (11:25pm July 5, 2009):

Glad to see I wasn't the only one who
didn't get into the DaVinchi Code.

Re: Everywhere She Turns (10:29am July 5, 2009):

I have always bought what I need, not
what others have told me I can afford.
I was raised by people who had been
through the Great Depression and
knew what was important to life,
including a healthy family and
enjoying life. Even if we did not have
the money to buy books regularly, my
parents made sure that we always
lived near the public library. They
knew that even if you couldn't afford a
Caribbean cruise and lived in a small
crowded house, reading a book could
take you places that you could only
dream of.

Re: The Cowboy From Christmas Past (9:52am July 5, 2009):

I don't think we ever get to find out who
we really are, unless we get to go listen
to the eulogy at our own funeral, like
Tom Sawyer.

Re: The Scot And I (7:31pm June 26, 2009):

As long as the quality of the writing
remains excellent, any genre is fine.

Re: Dial Emmy For Murder (1:13pm June 21, 2009):

I love the idea of "discovering" the villain.

Re: My Forbidden Desire (11:59pm May 25, 2009):

I accept each writer's expression of this
subject in their works... some delve
deeply into explorations and others don't.
It is kind of like no one on TV using the
toilet until Archie Bunker.

Re: The Texas Twins (11:34pm May 23, 2009):

Hi Tina! I agree with you, reading has
gotten me through many a rough spot.
Love the Hemingway quote!

Re: The C.O.O. Must Marry (10:28am March 1, 2009):

Still on the long journey......working to
make my own happy ending.

Re: The Mighty Queens of Freeville (10:14am March 1, 2009):

Re: Dark Of Night (5:31pm February 10, 2009):

Hot Pursuit

Re: Whisper of Warning (10:40pm January 24, 2009):

I love books and blogs, keep writing!

Re: Thread of Fear (10:39pm January 24, 2009):

We have an on again off again book club
at work, fun at lunch to discuss and walk
and talk.
