NBC Finds Their 'Pan' in Allison Williams

Looks like the Lost Boys are no longer seeking a leader. In a traditional turn, NBC has decided to cast a woman in the role of Peter Pan for their highly-anticipated second venture into live musicals "Peter Pan Live." Cathy Rigby proved busy*, so the network went with "Girls" actress (and "Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams's daughter) Allison Williams (Marnie) to fill the green slippers and leotard.

Williams debuted on the HBO show four years ago and her busy New York City filming schedule will likely not interfere with her training for the NBC live musical. The brunette actress joins Christopher Walken's Captain Hook on screen. "Peter Pan Live" will air on Thursday, December 4th on NBC stations everywhere.

*Cathy Rigby not that busy, but let's go with it.

Hmm, that is interesting. Uh, can she sing? The flying part is
easy I think, just hooked up to a harness and crane.

Whoosh...
