I am an unapologetic fan-girl. Maybe you know someone like me. I LOVE the things I
like and am not ashamed of it.
Boy Bands for example. Even way beyond the age of their fan-base I’m a fan. I still swoon
over One Direction. I like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter. I haven’t
been
lucky enough to attend one of their concerts, but if I did I would buy a T-shirt and sing
along and wonder what they were like when they were hanging out back stage.
My fan-girl days started with New Kids on the Block. I can remember rushing to my
best
friend’s house after school as a young teen to watch their concert video over and over
and
over again. I can remember screaming in her living room until my lungs ached. It’s those
memories and my current fan-girl ways that made me want to create my very own fictional
boy band.
Seconds to Juliet is the hottest new boy band on the scene, and what would a hot
boy band be without HOT boy band members? Have you ever wondered what your favorite rock
star or movie star is thinking behind those poetic eyes? I have, and I used to fuel
writing about Ryder Brooks, the resident Bad Boy of Seconds to Juliet.
I found tht there was a lot more to the image of your favorite star than meets the eye.
He
might seem apathetic, angry, wild, but that behavior may be hiding some real pain. That
behavior might just need to be soothed by the right girl.
I know that when I used to stare at my poster of Donnie Wahlberg before I fell asleep at
night I would try to figure out what made him tick. Why was he so magnetic? How I could
be
the girl he sang to? What would it feel like to kiss him?
In MIA AND THE BAD BOY, I got to
build my perfect, swoony, sexy, young adult bad boy in Ryder Brooks. He has a dash of a
mysterious past, a hint of family problems, a pinch of not needing or wanting anything
from anyone, and of course a whole lot of smoldering good looks.
I got to live out my fan-girl tendencies up close and personal with Ryder and his love
affair with virginal, good girl Mia Reyes, who comes on tour to tutor him. I got to see
what was behind the posters and concerts and screaming fans. I got to swoon in a new way
as he opened up his heart to someone. I got to become the ultimate fan-girl.

This Entangled Teen Crush book contains adult language, underage drinking, sexual
situations, and lots of swoons. It may convince even the good-est of good girls to go
bad.
This good girl's about to meet her match...
Ryder Brooks is living the dream-he's famous, loved by millions of girls, and miserable.
All he really wants is to write his own music, not Seconds to Juliet's sugary sweet pop.
In order to do that, though, the "bad boy" of the band will have to play by the rules.
And
that includes behaving with his new-and super cute-über-good-girl tutor.
Mia Reyes is in fangirl heaven. Tutoring her favorite member of her favorite band? It's a
dream come true...until it turns into a complete nightmare. Ryder is nothing like she
thought. He's crude, arrogant, and pretty much a total jerk. And the worst part? She's
roped into pretending to be his girlfriend so that no one finds out he's being tutored.
Fake kisses, plenty of PDA, and even sharing his hotel room...
But sometimes even the baddest of bad boys needs a little redemption.
