Heather L. Reid picks her Hollywood dream cast for Pretty Dark Nothing, and we have to say we'd definitely watch this fabulous
series if it were made into a TV show!
Chloe Grace Moretz as Quinn Taylor
To me, Chloe
Grace Moretz would make the perfect broody, beautiful, demon ass-kicking reincarnation
of Eve, Quinn Taylor.
The first
time I saw a picture of Matt Lanter, I couldn’t believe how much he resembled the
picture of Aaron I had in my head. There is no other actor that I would want to play
this broken and tortured hero. Throw some golden wings on him and he can easily become
Aaron’s powerful alter-ego, Kaemon, too.
Oh, Marcus. How I
love you! That grin on actor Tristan Wilds face screams Marcus to me. I can just see him
bringing one of my favorite loveable, loyal, and witty characters to life. And look at
those dimples!
And what
would the Pretty Dark series be without Quinn’s best friend and Marcus’ girlfriend?
Brenda Song is the perfect blend of strength and spunk to play the honest to a fault
Teresa (Reese to her friends) Moon.
Who would play Azrael in
the movie though? Jared Leto wouldn’t be a bad choice, though he might need some molten
lava colored contacts to give him that angel soul glow to his eyes.
I first saw Kensia Solo in
Lost Girl and I thought she would make the perfect Lilith, cold and calculating, with
piercing silvery-blue eyes. Who wouldn’t believe she was queen of the underworld?
Yes, I was a Glee fangirl,
okay? So when I first pictured the character of Caleb, Dean Geyer was the first actor to
come to mind. I think he’s a good match for this self-assured smart ass.
Yes, yes, another Glee actor. Though a
totally
different character than the goofy, loveable Sam that Chord Overstreet plays on Glee, I think he would
make
a
fabulous bad boy, Jeff. Just look at that cocky smile. Kind of makes you want to punch his face in, right?
Good.
All he needs is some brown contact lenses and he would be a perfect Jeff.
I think her days as a Vampire on
True
Blood have more than prepared Deborah Ann Woll to play Westland High’s possessed by a demon, mean girl,
Kerstin
White.

Heather L. Reid eats mayonnaise on her fries, loves men in kilts, and met her husband playing Star Wars
Galaxies
online. This native Texan now lives with her Scottish hubby in North Ayrshire, Scotland, where she wanders
the
moors in search of Heathcliff and William Wallace.
It’s been five weeks, two days, and eight hours since the demons forced Quinn to throw herself into the
raging river, since Aaron sacrificed himself to save her, and since his body disappeared without a trace.
Everyone wants her to move on, but Quinn can’t, not after his spirit—or something—appears to her at his
memorial, convincing her he’s still alive.
When a mysterious box materializes on the very spot where Aaron disappeared, Quinn finds herself at the
center
of an ancient prophecy of betrayal, revenge, and sacrifice that takes her to the depths of the underworld
to
face Lilith—Adam’s first wife. If Quinn can stop Lilith from unleashing the demon horde Eve trapped inside
the
box during the Battle of Eden millennia ago, she will save the human realm and free Aaron from an eternity
in
torment.
I have always loved Deborah Ann Woll, something about her as an actress. We've seen what she can do as a nice, sweet girl and a the vamp we love to hate. I'm sure she could pull off any role. (Angela Cramer 2:32pm July 16, 2015)
im not sure i seen the actress in any movie but they are great actor and actress and she got the hair for sure (Desiree Reilly 4:40pm July 16, 2015)
My favorite is Deborah Ann Woll as Kerstin. She just looks like she'd fit the part, and I loved her in True Blood! (Kristy McRae 6:48pm July 16, 2015)
Deborah! At least I've seen her work. With her morphing between those two extremes on True Blood...Not a fan of Glee, so I can't comment on them. (Cynthia Powers 11:14pm July 16, 2015)
