I have a few names for myself: chef, server, laundry attendant, shopper, maid, psychologist (not licensed), mom, wife, daughter, nurse (licensed)... but one of my favorite is ‘author'. The problem is that after the dinner has been made and served, clothes and groceries put away, the house cleaned, conversations placed, and—oh yeah—the eight hours of work have been put in... well, I need some more minutes please!

When my first book was published and released, I said aloud, "I'm an author." Little did I know I was adding more names to my already long list: marketing director, researcher, blogger, and financial coordinator. Yet another name I have for myself is ‘Supergirl'! Although I only use it at times with my husband and son, I think I'm going to put it to some good use under my ‘author' title. Let's face it, I'm here and I'm not about to give up now. Writing has always been a passion of mine, and there's no other way to get rid of the stories roaming around in my head.

It amazes me how so many writers are able to manage their lives and have the time to get their books out. During my research, I'm still trying to find out where they're getting their minutes from because I need to sign up for that plan.

Though I'm new to this, keep an eye out for me. I will find my minutes and continue to write! Check out THE FORBIDDEN CLAIM— I was able to get it done on borrowed minutes. Below is a short blurb, and here's a link  for the full blurb and excerpt.

THE FORBIDDEN CLAIM

Ownership of another human being is forbidden. No one knows this better then Jed Kane. He's worked undercover in the Human Trafficking ring for years. So what is Jed to do when he's overcome by a disobedient desire to possess and stake an irrefutable claim upon the carefree and risky Jinx Collins?

For a chance to win a FREE e-Book copy of THE FORBIDDEN CLAIM, let me know what you would need more minutes for, maybe the gym, reading, or some extra sleep... or just drop us a ‘hello' and tell us how your day is going—we'd like to hear about that too! Thanks for joining me today, and thank you, Fresh Fiction, for inviting me to be a guest blogger on your wonderful site!

Sleep! Reading is a close second. If I don't have the first one then I can't concentrate on the second.

With our careers starting up, my boyfriend wishes that we had more time together. Especially since we're both full time students and work so much now. I do wish I had more time for the gym too - seems like everything I do is so rushed! Cleaning, cooking, working, and I'm not an author at all! I don't know how you guys do all that and still write great books!

I would love to find extra minutes to write a book. I have a few ideas for books but can't seem to be able to stop reading long enough to write lol. Looking forward to reading your book, it sounds really good :)

I need more minutes to that I can play "catch up!!" I currently have 3666 pieces of e-mail, that is without spam, that I have to go through. These are items that I've subscribed to, notes from friends and family, knitting and crochet patterns, and other goodies that I've gotten a bit behind on. Part of it is due to tests I've had to go through lately due to health problems, the other part is due to a family emergency regarding my Father which is ongoing. I'm also a caretaker where I live, so that commitment takes priority, as do other commitments. My Father and my medical tests have taken center stage for the moment, and everything else has been on the back burner. Now I've been pulling my hair out!! lol I also need more time to get caught up with other things so that I can sit back and enjoy the things I like to do with my Husband, since he is retired, and we can enjoy our surroundings a little more. I'm sorry to hear that your giving away an e-book, since I don't own an e-reader, and can't afford one. It's not in a retiree's budget - not even a used one. Love the cover of your latest book, and would love to read it!! Guess I'll just have to wait for it.

Hi. It was a lovely day here today. The winter has gone, at
least for 1 week.
(Mary Hay 9:10pm March 11, 2012)

More minutes to read! Work keeps getting in the way :)
(Christina Aldridge 9:12pm March 11, 2012)

My day - not so good. I could use a vacation from my family. Way too much stress! If I had more minutes, I just don't know what I would do....hmmm....

I need more minutes to get the house clean. Right now there are dishes in the sink and dirty clothes in the hamper. I just need to take a few minutes to check my e-mail and then back to work.

I like to listen to audio books and knit, or else just get carried away with my kindle,. I would love more time EVERYDAY to do one of these two things
(Di Greenaway 11:43pm March 11, 2012)

Sleep, I could always use more sleep but my grandkids are against it!
(Sue Sattler 12:02pm March 12, 2012)

My granddaughter, she's growing up so fast I wish I had more time with
her!
(Susan Ashcraft 3:23am March 12, 2012)

Always sleep!lol Extra sleep is where I'd invest any and all bonus minutes I gain, and then if I'm feeling rested enough I'd add to get more reading time:)

MINUTES FLY BY AND I CAN'T SEEM TO CATCH THEM!
(Silvana Moscato 7:37am March 12, 2012)

Ahhh, I would like the extra minutes to get away and find something or someone to enjoy a little time with. All the time goes so fast that once in a while Me time is just what the Dr. ordered. Thanks
(Margie Gagarin 8:34am March 12, 2012)

I need a few extra minutes in order to be on time. It helps to not wear a watch, too, because it's a race to get to places on time.
(Alyson Widen 8:53pm March 12, 2012)

More minutes? Wow, what a concept. I would draw a long, deep, hot bath. I would light some candles (for ambiance. only) turn on my reading light and read and soak and soak and read...I am swooning at the thought. LOL
