Howdy Folks, Let's kick this cowboy hunting party off with a bang! I just can't believe I
finally get to share sassy, pistol-packing deputy sheriff Laney Briggs and
tight-jeans wearing Texas Ranger Gunner Wilson with y'all. It has been a long
road, but well worth it. I mean, I would be crazy to say I didn't enjoy writing
about sexy, tight-assed jean wearing cowboys. And to throw in a sassy,
pistol-packing deputy into the bunch...well yeah, I'm in total bliss. Okay, I know why y'all are really here... did I hear someone say, "COWBOYS!" I'm
sorry, I can't hear ya? Tell me. How many of you enjoy a good-timing cowboy or
two? I know I do. Maybe it's the narrow-hip swagger. Nah? It has to be the
drawl. Although that deep, southern twang can be deadly to quite a few ladies'
panties. Just the thought of that smooth, velvety voice whispering in your ear
can make you go weak at the knees. Good grief, we got off track real fast. Fan
me please. Okay, some of y'all might've heard about a new cowboy strutting into
town, and yeah the rumors are true...he's lethal. Ready to kick up your boots,
grab a cold one, and learn a thing or two about this bad-ass Texas Ranger? Give me a moment. No pressure please. I'm thinking. What am I willing to spill
about Texas Ranger Gunner Wilson? Hmmm....Well, he looks damn fine in a pair of
Wranglers. He holds a soft spot for a sassy mouth deputy, which almost always
puts him in hot water. And did I mention he has a bone to pick with a few old
friends. As you cowboy-crazy girls already know, the rodeo doesn't get going until the
cowboys show up, and that's exactly the type of rough and reckless ride Deputy
Laney Briggs and the whole Pistol Rock gang are in for when this bad-boy steps
into town. I'm just over the moon now that I get to share this with all of y'all. Now, since we're on the topic of sexy, bad- boy cowboys...who's your all-time

Welcome to Pistol Rock, Texas where everyone knows secrets last about as long as
the sporadic west Texas rain showers. Laney Briggs has long been considered reckless, but she's turned herself
around—she's respectably engaged and she's become a Pistol Rock deputy
sheriff. Everything's fine until a dead body turns up and her ex, Texas Ranger
Gunner Wilson, decides to stick his boots into the town's first murder case. Laney will be damned if she lets Gunner trample all over her turf and her chance
at a quiet, contented life. His seemingly endless ability to undermine her
resolve and her libido was only outdone by her constant urge to butt heads with
him. But when the bodies start to pile up, Laney has to ask the lethal bad boy
for a hand—and a truce in exchange for his help. Having an ex-boyfriend as an ally might not be the best idea, but Laney has
always been pretty reckless...

For me, rodeo cowboys have always been so much fun to watch. I grew up in Texas, so rodeos were a weekly event. Watching a cowboy try and stay on a bronching horse (or even worse a bronching bull) is exciting!

Will your book, "Pretty Reckless" come out in print? I don't read e-books as I don't own an e-reader. I would love to read your book if and when it does. I love all cowboy books and enjoy authors Carolyn Brown, Jodi Thomas, and many others. My favorite sexy, bad-boy cowboy in movies was Clint Eastwood. In books, I'll take 'em anyway they come from any author writing about 'em!

There is no way you can pick just one, once you start reading about them!! It's like picking a horse out of a pack of wild ones, riding in a pack on the range!! They're all wonderful creatures, and each one is special in their own way!! I'm sure that Gunner is going to be special, too!
