CUCUMBER YOGURT
  1. Grate 1 med. cucumber, squeezing as much liquid out of it as possible.
  2. Mix it in with plain yogurt.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Add a touch of Tamarind paste to add a sweet, tart taste!

  1. Cut tomatoes, boiled potatoes, green beans, onions, apples, mangoes (really any fruit or vegetable you feel like tossing in) into cubes or small pieces.
  2. Salt and pepper to taste.
  3. A few dashes of lemon juice.
  4. Depending on the quantity in your bowl, add at least a teaspoon or so of Chaat Masala and Amchur. (Both of these products are readily available in Indian stores, and now even in most mainstream stores like Trader Joes, Fresh Farms, and Jewel here in Skokie, Illinois)
