If you've never been backstage during a television taping it's something to behold! On the "set" the walls are beautiful, the floor gorgeous, comfortable chairs or sofas and then blink and you'll see the surrounding set with cables, equipment and other strange bewildering things.

We had the opportunity to go on the set with Candace Havens as she was interviewed for an upcoming episode of "Books in Review." Her expert interviewer was the charming and beautiful Cheryl Nason, Dallas Book Diva. Cheryl actually READ all of the Candace's books and you could tell by the off screen banter as well as the questions she asked during the 30 minute interview. Gwen and I sat way in the back, silent as little mice, and watched. It was great fun!

Candace is great in the interview...mentioned her friends and her web site! Way to go!!! And thanks to the terrific job by the camera operators and director James. It's always fun to get a peek behind the scenes.
