Fresh Fiction Review of ON THE HUNT: Four Stories, Four Authors, Four Amazing Reads

goodreadsfacebooktwitter
~ Reviewed by Annetta Sweetko

ON THE HUNT is an anthology comprised of four amazing authors: Alexandra Ivy,
Rebecca Zanetti, Dianne Duvall and Hannah Jayne.

ON THE HUNT by Alexandra Ivy finds Mika Tanner, a Sentinel, guardian of an
ancient race, in search of a missing student and coming face to face with the
one woman he has ever loved. Healer Bailey Morrell had left Valhalla when her
rebellious spirit and his sense of duty clashed. Now a dangerous anarchist
group has her in their sights and only Mika can save her.

SCORPIUS RISING by Rebecca Zanetti has Deacon McDougall working with his ex-
wife, microbiologist Nora Medina, who must focus on stopping a pandemic. But
working with the hot Scot has her feeling like she is playing with a very
powerful explosive and has no way of stopping the ticking.

In PHANTOM EMBRACE by Dianne Duvall, immortal Yuri Sokolov was born with the
ability to see spirits but Cat Seddon, the woman who haunts his home and
dreams, is the loveliest he has ever seen. A new danger may have Yuri facing a
different kind of eternity that has nothing to do with his new love.

STAKE OUT by Hannah Jayne has vampire fashion designer Nina LaShay with a lot
on her plate, two days until fashion week and the model who was flirting with
her photographer boyfriend is now a corpse in her studio. But when the dead
turns undead and dangerous, Nina must find out who is responsible before the
baby vamp does too much damage to the Big Apple.

There is not enough room to praise ON THE HUNT the way it should be done. All
four books are action packed with characters that you want to read more of. I
will try to keep it to one line each.

Ms. Ivy takes us into her Sentinel world with this fast-paced shot at love
lost and found. Ms. Zanetti hits us with an apocalyptic offering where a
divorced couple works together to save the world and find the love they never
really lost. Ms. Duvall's offering is a sweet, touching and a bit
heartbreaking offering where a spirit and an Immortal find each other. Ms.
Jayne takes us into the world of high fashion and it's as cut throat as we
have been led to believe. If you are looking for short stories with real
impact, action and variety you will want to pick up ON THE HUNT.

About ON THE HUNT

Four of todayโ€™s most intriguing paranormal authors entice readers deep into the shadows, where vampires, immortals, and other supernatural creatures heat up the night... ON THE HUNT by Alexandra Ivy
Mika Tanner has loved Bailey Morrell, a beautiful Healer, since childhood. But his duty as a Sentinel, a supernatural guardian of an ancient race, clashed with her rebellious spirit. Now a dangerous new anarchist group not only threatens life as they know itโ€”but any chance of their being together again... SCORPIUS RISING by Rebecca Zanetti
With a deadly disease spreading like wildfire across the country, microbiologist Nora Medina needs to focus all her energy on stopping the pandemic. Playing with dynamiteโ€”in the form of her way-too-hot exโ€”is the last thing she should be doing. But forced to work with Deacan McDougall against unexpected enemies with the seconds ticking by, she knows the explosion is coming... PHANTOM EMBRACE by Dianne Duvall
Immortal Yuri Sokolov was born with the ability to see spirits, yet he's never seen one as lovely as Cat Seddon, the woman who haunts his home and his dreams. But amid their star-crossed love, a new danger may have Yuri facing a different kind of eternity. STAKE OUT by Hannah Jayne Vampire fashion designer Nina LaShay has a lot on her plateโ€”just two days until fashion week and the model who was flirting with her photographer boyfriend is now a corpse in her studio. But when dead turns into undead and dangerous, Nina must find out whoโ€™s responsibleโ€ฆbefore the beautiful baby vamp takes too many bites out of the Big Apple.

Re: Fresh Fiction Review of ON THE HUNT: Four Stories, Four Authors, Four Amazing Reads

Because this isn't my normal genre, I find this to be
the perfect book to get my feet wet, so to speak, in
the Paranormal world. I'm familiar with a couple of
the Authors, and all of the stories sound interesting
to me. This is one book that I'm looking forward to
reading, and have actually put on my TBR list. I'm
glad that you came here today to give a review on this
book, and to bring it to our attention.
