Nacomy Blue | Out Of This World

When I thought of aliens, I usually had this image of green little men with illogically large heads, practically none existent equipment downstairs (unless I think of tentacles from Japanese anime) and evil intentions of earth domination. Remember Mars Attacks? If you do, you know what I mean.

I decided to replace this disturbing image with something more to my liking and thus the Kiale were created. Think Hersey-stacked chests, sizable working equipment (you're welcome) and ragged maleness potent enough to make a girl fight to get her jaw off the floor and slip on her drool. If you like the imagery, you will definitely enjoy KIALE DREAM, first up in the Kiale Sons series.

After a mass murder of their species, the last three Kiale descendants were sent to earth. Eldest of the trio is Ralden. The best of both worlds, he has an average Joe personality, is romantic, sensitive, thoughtful and charismatic with an otherworldliness that defines his looks and appetites. Such a magnificent specimen deserves a strong and beautiful heroine and who better than dream walker, Zoey McKenna. This fire cracker is determined to depend on no one but herself. Past hurts have left her heart smarting and convinced that true love is little more than a myth.  A persistent Ralden is equally determined to show her otherwise but will these two get their happily ever after a twist of fate places Zoey's life in danger?

Thank you Fresh Fiction for this opportunity to guest blog, thank you readers for your time and with this I leave you with an excerpt from KIALE DREAM.

"Tonight was beautiful." Her voice blended perfectly with the night, smooth with a sweet undertone that held sensual mysteries.
"The night isn't over yet." Far from it.
"It isn't?
"Nope. The best part has not started yet."
"Oh?" The coy performance contradicted the brazenly look in her eyes and the throbbing in his cock increased.
They stopped at a man-made pond. Lily pads floated on the surface as a small stream of water poured into the pool. The musical sound of frogs croaking and insects chirping filled the air. The occasional flap of wings betrayed the presence of flying wildlife.
He set her shoes down near the pond and turned to her. The moonlight complimented her features perfectly. Her hair was gathered into a complicated updo that gave her a sexy, just out of bed look, making his fingers itch to destroy it. He longed to see the tendrils cascading down her back, to feel them caressing his skin, to watch them spread across his pillow. Her eyes looked up at him with an interesting mixture of an innocence and trust and brazen. Her full lower lip beckoned him and he could not resist. He leaned in and gently sucked it into his mouth. She moaned and instantly relaxed against him. He kept the kiss gentle even as his body, and hers, urged him to do differently.
He pulled away. "There's something I need to show you."
She looked up at him inquiringly.
He started to unbutton his shirt.
She licked her lips and he laughed softly. The shirt dropped to the ground in a careless heap. "You wanted to know what I am."
"And?"
"And I'm going to show you." He closed his eyes and envisioned his wings extending from his back. He felt the slight pain as his skin parted to allow his wings passage. He heard Zoey's quick indrawn.
"Oh. My. God. Are these real? Oh God. Wow!"
Ralden opened his eyes to see an astounded Zoey, her eyes glued to his wings, fascination filling them and thankfully no fear. He stretched them before he allowed his dark gray wings to skim the back of his knees. The top feathers ruffled in the gentle breeze. Releasing his wings always brought a feeling of freedom.
"Oh my God, Ralden. You're an angel." Her voice was filled with wonder.
"I'm not an angel." He understood why she would compare him to one. The Kiale half-breeds looked exactly like what humans thought to be angels. "I am Kiale.

I usualing avoid those scary aliens, but I think your aliens sound much better---I'll try your book for sure.
(Sue Farrell 12:58pm June 12, 2012)

I picture aliens the same way you used to. These three sound friendlier. I am looking forward to reading these books.

(Jane Thompson 5:32pm June 12, 2012)

You are a new author to me, and this book sounds really good. Sandra Hill's new books are somewhat similar in nature. A new romance trend with angel-demons and angel half-breeds (aliens) which gives us something a little different to read...love it!!! THANKS!
(Linda Luinstra 5:40pm June 12, 2012)

This book sounds great, thanks for giving me the chance to win it!
(Rich Cook 7:05pm June 12, 2012)

Beautiful cover - looking forward to finding out more about the Kiale.
(Mary C 8:18pm June 12, 2012)

I sat here, so enthralled in your story, and knowing that I just had to know more about the book. I can't wait to find out what happens!! I'm just so disappointed that the contest consists of the e-version only. I don't own a kindle, and as much as I would like to win, it won't help me. You are a very gifted writer, and I'm sure that your book is going to do very well.
(Peggy Roberson 8:43pm June 12, 2012)

Sounds like much better aliens to me! Thanks for a chance to
win.
(Mary Hay 8:45pm June 12, 2012)

This sounds like my type of book. I look forward to reading about the Kiale.
(Pam Scott 8:53pm June 12, 2012)

This certainly sounds interesting. I guess we always think we have to be afraid of something different or alien. I actually deplore the talk of "illegal aliens." All right, they may be here illegally but they're human just like us. Aliens come from somewhere other than earth--probably like the beings in this book. If anyone has to be called illegal, let's say the people are here illegally.

I'd like to find out about these "people," illegal or not.
(Sigrun Schulz 1:37am June 13, 2012)

I much prefer the sexy human type aliens to the little green men.
(Anne Muller 8:46am June 13, 2012)

Thanks for the great post and excerpt! Definitely going to
have to check out this book!
(Erin Fender 11:37am June 13, 2012)

Thanks for the excerpt. It was great. Can't wait to read the whole book. I know it's going to be a great success. By the way I think aliens probably look just like us so your idea is right on. Love it!!
(Sharon Extine 4:27pm June 13, 2012)

More thanks for sharing this with us - I am also looking forward to reading this!
(Felicia Ciaudelli 7:34pm June 13, 2012)

i love these kinds of stries hope i win this
(Denise Smith 10:38pm June 13, 2012)

I am sure interspecies romance is a big seller right now and I wonder if this says something about us... that in times of economic depression we turn to something outside our environment for fantasy? It's a great opportunity for the writer to control the development of the new species and write as you like without offending anyone! Sounds like you are having a lot of fun with this and I am sure the readers will too.
(Clare O'Beara 5:44am June 14, 2012)

This sounds like a really cool book. I don't usually read sci-fi, but there's something about this read that makes me want to pick it up.
(Molly Frenzel 6:31pm June 14, 2012)

Of course the ending will be a romance mixed in with some trouble and shenanigans. Like the description of eyes.
