Smooch Contest Entry

The only real Valentine's Day story I have to contribute is from a few years ago. I had been dating this guy for about 6 months when Valentine's Day rolled around. As I'm not a huge fan of the holiday and he was a student and pretty much broke, I had told him not to get me anything. Personally, I'm more about time together than getting store bought gifts.

So, what happened was he decided to ignore that and order me a small bouquet of flowers. Only, what showed up was not what he had ordered. Instead of a small bouquet of a mix of flowers, I ended up with two dozen roses, a teddy bear, and a small box of chocolates. We both laughed a bit at the mix-up but I couldn't help wondering what exactly happened to the bouquet he had actually ordered and hoping it didn't get delivered to the woman who was supposed to get the roses I had gotten.
