People often ask me where I get story ideas. With my latest romantic suspense novel, THREAD OF FEAR, the idea took shape as I watched a news broadcast about a kidnapped girl. It wasn’t the kidnapping itself that caught my attention, but the forensic artist who helped solve the case.

Re: Laura Griffin | A Romantic Thriller and a Chance to Win

I totally enjoyed your first two books, Laura. You do such a great job of building suspense AND creating powerful love stories. How do you balance the two?
I'm really looking forward to THREAD OF FEAR.

Hi, Laura! I look forward to reading your book.
I really enjoyed your article in October's
Romantic Times, too, which gave some insight
into the real-life forensic artist who inspired
your heroine. Can't wait to see what (or who)
your next inspiration is...

Hey Laura, well shoot, I missed your article in RT...are you going to post it on your site?

Can't wait to get into THREAD OF FEAR . . .
