Re: Her Secret, His Surprise (11:16am July 30, 2014):

You are so right about close friends. My husband has
Parkinson's and I realize who are close friends are. Mostly
the ones we have had for years. They come over and just sit
with him and give me a few moments of quiet time. Also, if I
didn't have books to read I don't know what I would do. I
can't thank all the authors so much for their "time".

Re: Some Like It Wild (11:47am March 11, 2014):

I read the first book in this series and enjoyed it, and have
been waiting for this book to come out. Even if I don't get
picked for a free copy I will be reading it.

Re: The Look of Love (11:41pm June 21, 2013):

I have been waiting for this series. Can't wait to read all
the books.

Re: She Can Run (3:17pm November 30, 2011):

This book is going on my TBR list! I like when the author's mix romance and suspense together. Like you I read just about anything but the only thing I don't read is paranormal.

Re: Against The Storm (7:35pm October 17, 2011):

Seems like I have been waiting for Against the Storm forever. So glad it will be out next week. I read at least 2 - 3 books a week and my husband is always asking me why I don't try writing them and not reading so much. I always tell him I would much rather sit and enjoy someone elses book.

Re: Hidden Wives (11:40am June 26, 2010):

I just picked up Linda Castillo's Pray for Silence. It is the follow up to Sworn to Silence that she wrote last year. I usually read one book and then start another right away. After re-reading Sworn to Silence to reaqauint myselft with the characters I couldn't pick up a book for 2 days. This book really stays with you.

Re: Promise Me Tonight (12:59pm February 12, 2010):

I just finished reading Susan Crandall's new book Sleep No More so I will have to go with Jason. He took such good care of Abby. Happy Valentine's Day to all.

Re: Viking in Love (5:01pm February 4, 2010):

When I find a "new" author, I also have to look up their backlist. Off the top of my head Lisa Kleypas and Susan Mallery jump out.

Re: Hold On Tight (4:26pm January 26, 2010):

I have your first two "Hold" books and can't wait to read them. I will get the other one as soon as it warms up a bit. I don't usually look up a word, I just keep reading. That is unless it is driving me crazy and the sentence doesn't make sense.

Re: Sleep No More (10:44pm January 12, 2010):

Susan, the book sounds wonderful, can't wait to read it. Love the book cover.

Re: Sex Drive (2:37pm December 2, 2009):

I like series also because secondary characters get their own book. I like to know ahead of time though if it is going to be a series. Also, I wish if author's are going to write a series they would finish the series before they write another book. I love the Virgin River series and of course Linda Lael Miller has several series that are good. I am looking forward to reading your new series.

Re: Santa Honey (4:43pm October 24, 2009):

I also love to have a "real" book in my hands to read. If you enjoy e-books that is fine but buy them from the right sights. Don't steal them.

Re: Love You To Death (2:01pm October 3, 2009):

Shannon, I just picked up your book this morning to read.

Re: Lucky Break (1:19pm September 29, 2009):

I am so glad Lucky Break is finally out. I have waiting till the whole series was done to read them. It was not easy waiting either. I love all of your books.

Re: Love At First Flight (12:20pm July 3, 2009):

I just ordered your book for our library. Sounds like a fun book.

Re: Wild Heart (11:43am June 29, 2009):

Wow, talk about a roller coaster ride of emotions. All I can say is don't worry about the hair color, I have found that most covers don't resemble the description of characters in the books. Good luck with your book - it will be coming out in time for my birthday.

Re: The Scot And I (1:13pm June 25, 2009):

When I am looking for a book to read the first thing I look for is the author's name then the blurb in the back.

Re: Dial Emmy For Murder (3:07pm June 20, 2009):

I saw the title to your book and my first thought was Erica Kane. Then I saw the name of the author and I thought Ashley. You have a very unique way of writing, I wonder if there are any other authors that write the same way. Can't wait to read your book.

Re: Last Resort: Marriage (11:31am June 17, 2009):

One of my all time favorite books is Brenda Novak's Taking the Heat. Right now I am rereading Lisa Klepas's Travis series for about the 3rd time. The obstacles the characters face are so true to life and I feel like I know each one of them.

Re: Spotlight On Desire (12:01pm June 11, 2009):

I like finding the title in a book. It's kind of like a puzzle.

Re: The Baby Bond (3:46pm June 3, 2009):

So many books and authors in one place! Sounds like a lot of fun.

Re: Lucky Streak (12:19pm June 2, 2009):

I believe in being in the right place at the right time is luck. Can't wait to read all your Lucky books.

Re: Believe (2:24pm May 31, 2009):

I like to read anthologies that have connected stories, but I suppose that is because I would rather read one long book rather than 3 small ones.

Re: Beneath Bone Lake (12:31pm May 28, 2009):

I cannot stand mice. We have a couple in our house over the years and they creep me out. Can't wait to read your new book.

Re: Master Of Craving (2:04pm May 27, 2009):

Congratulations on the new book. I have a terrible summer cold so I don't know too much about energy right now!

Re: Dragons Prefer Blondes (3:30pm May 23, 2009):

I am a little bit of both. If I see a book I like I buy it and either read it right away or put it on my TBR list. I also like to watch for books that I have been notified about so I can pick them up.

Re: The Accidental Lawman (1:31pm May 22, 2009):

I can't wait to read either book. His head does look superimposed.

Re: Kissing The Man Next Door (2:59pm May 18, 2009):

I never had a romance with a neighbor but I did meet my husband at work. We will be married for 45 years in December.

Re: Pretty in Plaid (6:36pm May 17, 2009):

I would rather arrive early that late. I usually bring a book along with me where ever I go so I can keep myself busy.

Re: Killer Cuts (2:06pm May 16, 2009):

Looks like a full summer of reading ahead. So many good books to look forward too.

Re: Mistress (11:55am May 16, 2009):

I agree with you about names sometimes being too hard to pronounce. I find myself just reading over the name. I recently was reading the start of a new series by a new author to me and couldn't keep track of the names. But I kept plugging through till I read the book, then went on to read the next book and it all made sense then. All the names started making sense. By the time I got into the later books in the series I felt like I was part of the families in the book.

Re: Let It Ride (7:36pm May 11, 2009):

I plan on getting a lot reading done this summer. There are so many new books out right now to read.

Re: Wild Heat (4:12pm May 1, 2009):

I am going to have to visit my local Border's store and pick up a copy of Wild Heat. I am glad to see it is part of a series.

Re: The Promise (4:59pm April 19, 2009):

I have always loved to read. Now my daughter and granddaughter are also readers. My gd loves going to the library with me. What I like is finding new authors. The only thing I don't really like to read is paranormal. But my gd does.

Re: The Heir's Scandalous Affair (12:40pm April 14, 2009):

I like series books but I like when they can be read alone. I am just finishing up a series by Pamela Clare that can be read either way and am enjoying them.

Re: The Accidental Human (2:27pm April 13, 2009):

A lot of times I have been going to buy a book but when I see the cover I don't. If I had a protective cover I might though. It is not that I am a prude, but I don't like sitting on an airplane or someplace reading with a real racy cover, when half the time it doesn't really have anything to do with the content.

Re: The Inn at Eagle Point (5:16pm March 31, 2009):

I have wondered what I was going to read after I finish with Robyn Carr's Virgin River series. Now I know just what to read.

Re: Whisper of Warning (1:59pm March 30, 2009):

I loved Thread of Fear and have been looking forward to reading Whisper of Warning. I also love Lisa Jackson, I just finished reading an older book by her called Intimacies. Susan Crandall also has a new book out that you can't read with the lights out called Seeing Red. Right now I am in the middle of Karen Robard's Pursuit.

Re: Pursuit (2:30pm March 24, 2009):

Karen, your books are an automatic buy for me. I have been waiting for Pursuit to be released. Like everyone else, thank you for the pleasure from all your books.

Re: Would-Be Witch (4:04pm March 16, 2009):

I would have to say Virgin River, California after reading Robyn Carr's series.

Re: Simple Wishes (5:48pm March 11, 2009):

Your book sounds like a great read. I have my own sexy carpenter. He loves woodworking and has a nice workshop. Only thing is every time I see something I like he always says "I can make that". He usually does too. I am anxious to read your book.

Re: Summer On Blossom Street (12:38pm March 8, 2009):

I have been reading Robyn Carr's Virgin River series and I would love to live in Virgin River and eat at Jack's Bar. I love all the characters in this series.

Re: Scandal (1:43pm March 6, 2009):

I read both historical and contemporary novels. I love Pamela Clare because you get the best of both worlds with her books. I like the history of the historical but also I realize how lucky I am to be living with the modern conveniences that we have.

Re: Secret Fantasy (10:02pm February 14, 2009):

Carly, you are right love ain't always easy but with the right person it is all worth while. I say this after 44 years of marriage. By the way I just finished reading Hot Property and loved it.

Re: Vexing The Viscount (5:00pm February 13, 2009):

After reading your blog I have added Vexing the Viscount to my TBR list. I would also like to add my EW on the condom matter.

Re: Made To Be Broken (1:41pm February 8, 2009):

I read a Virgin River Christmas yesterday and loved it. I could just hear Ian singing O Holy Night. Today my bookmark is going into Susan Crandall's new book Seeing Red. I have been waiting so long for this book.
