No spoilers on that one! But Liz does mention her brother in that story so I made him the hero of HIS BLUSHING BRIDE and I thought I’d let Petra tell you about him, since, well, you’ll see…

Okay, so my Uncle Sea Bass is, like, my favorite uncle. Technically, he’s my
only uncle, because both my mom and dad have sisters, but they’ve all been
married— Wait. Does Uncle Blake count? Because he was married to Aunty Crystal?

Never mind. Uncle Sea Bass was in my life more and Uncle Blake is already my
favorite step-dad and Mom hasn’t even married him yet. Whew. Dodged that bullet.

Anyway. Me and my cousins call him Uncle Sea Bass because, you know, Sebastian.
And, ugh, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but all of my friends say he’s really
hot. Which is gross because he’s my uncle, but I guess he is. He has blond hair
and looks like a surfy dude and he’s got muscles, so, whatever.

He’s coming to Marietta because Mom is marrying Blake. Mom says he’s being
protective, worrying that she’s marrying too fast, which is kind of cute, right?
I mean, he’s thirty-something and Mom is almost forty and he still cares about
his sister.

Anyway, we have to keep the room in the spa open for Meg, in case she needs a
break from Linc, so Uncle Sea Bass can’t stay with us. He’s staying at a house
in town owned by some people he met while traveling.

Here’s the weird part: My music teacher, Ms. Tierney, lives there. He said she
lives over the garage and he’s in the house and they’re just friends, but I’m
seventeen and Not. Stupid.

It’s not like I disapprove or anything. I like Ms. Tierney a lot. She’s super
nice and quite pretty if you don’t look at that birthmark on her face. I totally
caught Mr. Holden at the school checking out her butt, so guys think she’s hot.

I think it would be really cool if Uncle Sea Bass and Ms. Tierney got together and he moved here to Marietta and they had super-cute babies and I would have little cousins to babysit. Right? But Uncle Sea Bass is like, I’m only in town until the wedding. I’m like, Don’t you like Ms. Tierney? I caught them kissing so I know he does. Mom says he’s a commitment-phobe and I heard her tell Blake that she told Uncle Sea Bass not to mess around with her kid’s teacher, but that he never listens and just does what he wants. I’m going to keep trying, because if he thinks he can tell me who not to date, I can tell him who he should.
