Jillian Neal | Who Doesn’t Love... Love?

I’m so thrilled to be here blogging with Fresh Fiction this morning! Thank you
for having (reading) me. At the ripe old age of 13, one sunny day, my best
friend handed me a book she’d just finished. It had come from her mother’s shelf
of Romance Novels- Heaven! Always an avid reader, I devoured the book and then
dozens more. I spent all of my babysitting and birthday money buying trade
paperbacks because I was so enthralled with the love.

When I finally gave in to my brain’s adamant demands that I write, there was no
question but that my genre would always be Romance. I’m addicted to the love and
even though I usually leave you with a ‘Happy for Now’ ending until we reach the
very end of the series, I promise I’ll give you the ‘Happy Ever After’ that
comes in Romance as well.

When I started writing The Gifted Realm, there were just a few things I wanted to do differently. I wanted more than one hero to tell the story. I wanted to showcase their different personalities that shine when they face adversity, when they’re being sweet, when they’re just being ‘guys,’ and most certainly when they finally bed our heroines.

So we have, Rainer Lawson, my All-American guy with the weight of the world on
his shoulders. His sassy redhead has had his number for a long, long time. Their
fiery romance occasionally gets the better of them.

Logan Haydenshire-- sweet, funny, insanely protective, with a brother to avenge
and a woman desperately in need of his love. You’ll never meet a more genuine
guy than Logan.

Everyone wants Dan Vindico to be their book boyfriend. He’s the chief of Elite
Iodex, the fierce, criminal fighting police force in The Gifted Realm. He’s a
badass with rippling muscles, a very sexy disposition, and enough dirty talk to
make you weak in the knees. He lost his fiancée a decade before, and he’s out
for blood. No one’s going to get in his way except maybe one hot, feisty woman
who ultimately shows him what his vengeance could cost him.

There are so many more to come. When you can harness all of the Earth’s energies
and add them to the energy of your own body, the fights become far more lethal,
the secrets more volatile, and the sex so much sexier.
