What Books Are Must-Haves?

You've got multiple copies, always seem to find another and seriously consider buying it whether it's re-issued, in a used book store or just there.

A book that really resonates with you, you may re-read it or not but the possession of it is really important to you.

I'll start, mine is Lord of Scoundrels by Loretta Chase. I have six copies, only one is a first edition. I bought the others over the years either by chance in a used book store or when it was re-issued. My favorite scenes are the opening -- I love to cry through it sad to say -- and the Paris lamplight rain scene. I've been in Paris in a torrential downpour and it wasn't as romantic but Jessica and Dain are two of my most favorite characters!

Re: What Books Are Must-Haves?

Would have to be Outlander series from Diana Gabaldon. I have multiple copies of each of her paperbacks. Would love to have multiple 1st ed copies in HC, but they are expensive and hard to find.

I can't think of one specific book off hand, but love series. Joan Johnston just started a new one with Outcast. Sherryl Woods, Debbie Macomber, Carla Neggers and Brenda Novak are also faves.
