Okay, okay, I know that isn’t the way the old saying goes, but, honestly, I am ALWAYS in the mood for romance books. And right now, I would love to spend a good week or so curled up with my TBR pile.

What am I in the mood to read? Well, each month I’ve been spotlighting a different trope here on the Fresh Fiction blog. And for April’s post, I wanted to dip into the paranormal world and highlight fated mates. Ah, yes…those couples who truly are meant to be. Nothing can stop these individuals from falling in love—so you’d better not even try to get in their way.

I have a few fated stories that I thought I’d chat about today. First up…A HUNGER LIKE NO OTHER by Kresley Cole (by the way, this book recently got a shiny, new cover!). I absolutely LOVE this book. It gripped me from the first page and did not let go until the pulse-pounding end. If you love a seriously alpha hero who will let nothing stop him from claiming the mate who is meant to be his, then do not miss this read.

Next up on my “fated” list is DESIRE UNCHAINED BY Larissa Ione. Spells, sexiness and secrets—ah, so many of my favorite things! Dark and intense, this book will send you into the Demonica world, and then you’ll be hooked on all the books in the series.

For my third book…well, actually, it’s just gonna be BOOKS…as in, Suzanne Wright is an author who excels at writing fated mates. She hasn’t just written one series that focuses on fated mates—there are plenty of books to choose from when it comes to her work! So, you can start with FERAL SINS (Book 1 in The Phoenix Pack) or you can check out BURN (Book 1 in The Dark in You).
As always, happy reading to you! I hope you can fall in love with a fated mate book!
