The luck of the Irish is coming your way this month and have I got some awesome reads for you!
I’ve never been to Ireland, so I adore being able to read about locales that I might never have the chance to visit. Don’t get me wrong, if I could swing it, I’d be on the next plane. But because that is currently out of my price and vacation range, let’s dive into some living vicariously through great fiction.

First up is a great book by Carlene O’Connor MURDER IN AN IRISH GARDEN (An Irish Village Mystery Book 11). This is pretty far into the series at book 11 but this series is such a great read all the way through. Talk about twisty mysteries and endings to die for. Throw in a deadly garden competition and I’m your girl!

Next, we have EXECUTION IN E (A Gethsemane Brown Mystery Book 5) by Alexia Gordon. Long ago I professionally trained to sing opera so I have a particularly soft spot classical music and by extension for this series. It’s a little older but totally worth picking up now. Ghosts, exes, and influencers? Oh my… This is a great series to just run right through from start to finish but I particularly loved this one!

Since luck is rumored to come in threes, I’ll leave you with this wonderful book, DEATH NEAR KENTMORE ABBEY: Star O'Brien Mystery Series Book 4 by Martha Geaney. This is an edge of your seat mystery that will keep the pages turning so fast you might get a papercut! But you won’t mind because Martha really brings the beauty and ruggedness of Ireland alive in this whole series. Enjoy a jaunt and a great mystery in one great place.
Misty Simon always wanted to be a storyteller - preferably behind a Muppet. Animal was number one, followed closely by Sherlock Hemlock. Since that dream didn’t come true, she began writing stories to share her world with readers, one laugh at a time.
Touching people’s hearts and funny bones are two of her favorite things, and she hopes everyone at least snickers in the right places when reading her books. She lives with her husband in Central Pennsylvania where she is hard at work on her next novel or three. She loves to hear from readers so drop her a line via email.
